B&B Leonida is a place which has a soul of its owners. As many previous reviews I can only say excellent, great, outstanding. The owners make the difference, not the place, the location or anything else. They are the people, who have created great atmosphere, if you need advise they always are ready, if you want just to talk they do it as well, if you need a silence they respect it too. The apartment is spotlessly clean, with everything what you need. The breakfasts differ every day. The location is a plus, peace and quiet in the night and not far from the centre. Giovanni picked me up from the train station despite my flight was seriously delayed and dropped me at my departure's day. Grazzie mille per tutto.

This b&b was the best experience we had in Italy!! If we could give 11/10 we would! Giovanni and his family are the friendliest hosts we have ever encountered! From picking us up from the train station, to welcoming us with a drink and snack on arrival, to the home cooked DELICIOUS breakfasts, to giving us recommendations throughout our stay, Giovanni went above and beyond to make our stay such a memorable experience. Honestly we felt like part of the family 🫶🏼 Hopefully one day we can come back to visit, or maybe you can come to Australia to stay with us 🦘🇦🇺

Not a thing, everything was perfect!

Before we arrived, Giovanni had sent us a message to inform us of some things to do around Tropea, which is helpful if people are less familiar with the area. There is gated parking included with the stay. As soon as we arrived and while preparing the room key, Giovanni offered us some refreshments. We felt very welcomed from the beginning to end of our stay and we would definitely recommend it to others thinking of staying at this place. The room has a nice balcony with what we call a suspended "egg" chair".

The walk to the main beach was about 20 mins downhill there, and about 25 mins uphill back. I don't mind walking at all, however in the blistering heat in the midst of summer it was a bit challenging at times. Definitely not a factor that should change your mind about staying, as it's still close enough to everything that you would want to access in Tropea.

My mom and I had the best time!! We are still talking about Leonida many days later. Everything was perfect, we loved all of it. We are pretty picky when it comes to accommodations and everything was perfectly clean and safe. Yes there is a walk (many reviews mention) but the walk is worth it!! We can’t wait to come back. Giovanni - you are truly one of a kind!! You made our holiday perfect, we loved meeting you. You and your father truly made us feel so special (like family)! Thank you!

The hosts, Giovanni and his parents Maria and Antonio and their friend Rosella, made me feel as if I was part of the family. The location was convenient from the train station (just a little bit of a climb) - with a view of the sea and Stromboli and a short distance from the historic center. Breakfast was amazing.

Location is just a few minutes by walk to the town center. Everything was excellent, but the most wonderful experience was to meet owners - Giovanni and his parents were so nice people, their family showed us the real italian hospitality. We felt like at home with home made breakfast, jokes and music which was played by Giovanni's father in the evening. We would unquestionably recommend this place for everyone! Grazie mille!

Giovanni was very nice and picked us up at the railway station. For breakfast his mum bakes very yummy cakes and pastries and his dad makes his own traditional sausages. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay at B&B Leonida again.

This is a family run B&B, and you can feel their dedication and hospitality when you come here. The location is perfect if you are coming by train. The rooms are clean with nice balcony to relax. The old town is 10 - 15 minutes away by foot. The breakfast was divine, the best we had so far in Italy. Everything is homemade and Antonio will make sure you don't lack anything and that everything is to your taste. We would always come back here if we visit Tropea again.

Very warm and welcoming greeting. The business is run by the family so you can really feel like in home, hosted by authentic Italian family. The food served at the breakfast was delicious, everything that was served was homemade. Giovanni was very helpful and met our checkin/checkout needs beyond our expectations!

It was greatest pleasure to stay in this apartment! Giovanni and his father Antonio were super helpful! Room is perfect, we had incredible view on the sea. Sunsets are unforgettable. Room was cleaned everyday. Breakfasts were super tasty, everything were home made - nduja, pancetta and other meat by Antonio, bread and cakes by his wife! Unfortunately, these tasty things are not for sell because it is reserved only for the B&B guests! Giovanni helped us with trips and gave us some tips about Tropea. It takes 10-15 minutes go to to Tropea old town by foot, 10 minutes to train station by foot, however Giovanni gave us a lift from and to the station! Totally recommend to come here. You wont regret.
