Fantastic location, just behind Piazza S. Marco, very convenient to walk in the area and to reach without too much effort the main Art Biennale's locations (Giardini and Arsenale). The room was comfortable and bright; wi-fi was good. I had a great deal for the price!

Breakfast was the only disappointing aspect. First of all, it didn't have any espresso or cappuccino done at the moment (like in any Italian cafe) but a machine that is not even comparable to something decent...There was no fresh fruit or not much choice. Thankfully though, there are plenty of cafes all around, so I was able to get a good cappuccino elsewhere.

The hotel had everything I needed for my stay. The location is very central and easy to get around. The staff, especially the man at reception, are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was good. The lobby area had tables and chairs which was a nice, quiet place for takeaway lunches. The room had good air conditioning. Even though it is such a central location I did not notice outside noises from inside my room.

The hotel is managed by the man at the reception of the hotel opposite which I was not aware of until I arrived and found the hotel reception locked and empty. He did a great job of managing both hotels. The one problem I found was that someone had entered the wrong door code too many times, so I was locked out of the hotel building for 5 minutes.

The location is splendid. Quiet room. Always well tidied etc by staff. Plenty of fresh towels and it seemed fresh bed linen every day.

The shower does wet the entire tiny bathroom but at least it was easy to operate and always hot.

For a one night stay and mostly for a home base, this was perfect! In the end, I wasn't placed in a room in hotel Diana, but hotel panda across the alley. I didn't realize they were tied together so I was waiting for someone at reception to take my bags because I arrived early and check -in is 2pm. I had some snacks and after 30min left a note with my luggage. It was another guest who came to check in who let me know that some reviews indicated this. It was fine because a little rest worked out, but this is the reason I couldn't give this a full excellent experience. The location is absolutely perfect. I couldn't have been much closer to the main attraction in Piazza San Marco and the palace. It was clean. It has AC. The facilities are modest and the fixtures are old, but excellent value for the location. It also serves a breakfast, which I haven't tried yet. But the staff, once I found them, were wonderful. I'd take your passport with you though when you leave your luggage. My luggage was exactly where I left it, but it was not in a secured room but in the lobby for the day.

Very good location. It is by S. Marco 's square and it makes very convenient the touristic promenades. But beware, in case of high water, remember that S. Marco is one of the lowest areas in the city. My room had a beautiful terrace, though; hadn't we had rain, it would have been great. The general decoration was very beautiful: classy and elegant at a time.

I did not like: the bed: composed by two mini- matresses, very old, very soft, no resistance to the body at all. Furthermore, the separation between both was more and more evident during the night. To reach the room there was lift to the 3rd floor and then a very high-slope spiral stair. I had no problem with it, but this is not for everyone.

The location is excellent, just near San Marco. So you can enjoy Venice till late at night and then quickly return back. The room is small, but very cute , stylized in Venetian baroque. The room and bathroom were clear. Check in was in the hotel in front of our hotel. We weren’t informed about that. It’s better for the hotel to note that in the confirmation. The breakfast is also served in the hotel in front. It was not lavish, but fresh and enough for a quick meal. So I can recommend it for a short stay.

The absence of information about check-in in other hotel. The sewage is old , but this problem is everywhere in old houses.

Before I book any hotel, I check the feedback and score very carefully. This hotel I’ve chosen not because of the score but because of perfect location☺️I’ve prepared myself to see something average but I was pleasantly surprised when I’ve arrived😍The room was perfectly clean, specially bathrooms and crystal white and clean towels, like just new. it was so cozy and comfortable, everything was working well, we had even bath in our bathroom, it was hot water. And what a wonderful and delicious breakfast 😍. I also like the hotel design, so beautiful style🤩 I highly recommend this hotel! it will make your experience unforgettable!🫶🏻☺️

Only one thing I could say - the fridge didn’t work in my room, but it’s fine for me😌

Superb location right near Piazza San Marco. Very friendly night receptionist, who was extremely welcoming and helpful as I arrived in the middle of the night.

No shower curtain to prevent shower going over the toilet which was right next to it. Shower could also do with some protection from the water running all over the floor and almost into the main room.

Excellent location, friendly staff and helpful, the room looks like the pictures and it was clean. One thing you have to take into consideration is that San Marco neighborhood is far away from the train station so if you have heavy luggage it will be a long walk with stairs or you can take a water taxi that will get you very close to the hotel but it costs around 60 euros.

LOCATION is why I booked this place in the first place. It was right at the center of everything. 2 minutes walk to Piazza San Marco. I could go back and forth to the room to refresh and use the toilet or wifi. The room is small but it was clean. The breakfast was good. It was a mini buffet with pastries, cereals, some cheeses, coffee, etc.

The check in was a little confusing because I had to check in in the hotel accross from it. If I needed something and tried to call downstairs noone wouldve picked up because there is nobody working in the reception of Hotel Diana, I had to go down to ask for extra amenities.
