Room very large, with additional unexpected room attached! Marvellous canal view from window. Breakfast team superb, and breakfast very good for Venice. Especially the scrambled eggs! Reception staff rather impersonal and bland until the senior bearded gentleman on the last day at departure, who made us feel as if we were valued repeat clients.

The bland reception staff welcome was disappointing. The fact that the glorious cocktail bar was suspended for the week meant we spent less money than we intended at the hotel, based on our last visits. Bathroom was very disproportionately small. Needs reconfiguration! We didn't need the huge (and rather glitzy naff) sitting room surprisingly attached as our suite.The beds were very hard too! And that practice of pushing two large single beds together to make a double means that you lose your partner in the immense acreage!

It was a wonderful experience and will come back here again when money permits. All the staff were helpful, happy and engaging which enhanced our stay. Nothing was too much for them. 1 An amazing option to arrive in the hotel by water taxi. 2 The stupendous view from the room 3 Very central and close to St Marks Square 4 The breakfast was wonderful every morning (except toast see below), with the wonderful staff waiting on us and helping with any info we needed for our day 5 The reception staff helped with all directions we needed in Venice too over stay and anything extra we needed in our room like tea bags, milk, etc, they were very quick at dealing with it, day or night.

Just 2 things 1 - Our Stunning Room with a view - To charge up the phone by the bed I had to take the light out to put the charger in which was down by the floor behind the bed table. 2 - It would be nice if you had a toaster that could take all types of fresh bread for toasting not just the sweet 'sandwich type bread' you have we are not used to.

My room was spectacular with ~9 m ceiling, wonderful canal view and very clean. The decoration was good, the bathroom was also good and the bed was comfortable. There was plenty of space. The location was unexpectedly well placed with a short walk to the vaporetto and also to the shops.

The large bath would be better replaced by a bath and separate walk-in shower. Breakfast was a little disappointing as there was little fresh fruit and little choice of juices. One evening the person in charge of the hotel at the front desk had almost no English which was frustrating.

The hotel is amazing and definitely is very luxurious without breaking the bank. As the hotel name implies it really does feel like you’re in a palace and the second floor even has a palace like foyer to chill and relax in like royalty. The room is massive and even comes with a bathtub with jets for a nice relaxing soak after a long day walking in Venice. Overall this place has the best value I’ve experienced in my multiple trips to Venice!

Nothing but if firm beds are something you don’t fancy then this might be a problem for you. I’m personally okay with hard beds but I know some Americans at least might be a little uncomfortable.

Great hotel, very well maintained with spacious rooms that were clean and well presented. Great location, with the hotel providing exact and easy instructions on how to get there (we had never been to Venice before and were nervous about finding our way around on the canals etc). Staff were friendly and professional, also available to answer our questions and provide more coffee pods when we asked!

it was a beautiful property in a wonderful location. Staff was warm, helpful, courteous, and professional.

it was hard for us to open and close the bathroom (wooden sliding door) in our room. other than that, it was lovely.

Location was perfect - close to vaparetto stop and had its own jetty for water taxis. Close to the usual tourist spots but tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Adjacent to a canal so some rooms have a balcony overlooking the canal. Lovely inner courtyard to relax in. The breakfast was very good and served by charming ladies. The management and reception staff were excellent and so kind and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location was excellent, walk 2 steps and we were in the main square. The staff was so nice and helpful. On our last day, they asked if we would like to leave our bags at the hotel and come back later which made such a big difference because we were able to explore a bit more of Venice without the hassle of our bags. The room is very big and very clean, everything you would want really.

The bed was hard floor like and the pillows were not much better, this gave us back and neck pain. Also I had some medication that needed to stay in the fridge but the fridge, although on, was not cold. Also milk for the room would be nice.
