Fantastic little B&B/hotel, right in the centre of Venice. Amazing staff. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Gave us some great recommendations for restaurants away from the tourist hot spots. Beautiful rooms. The room was decorated and we had a bottle of bubbles waiting for our arrival as it was my wife's 50th and our anniversary. Super comfy beds. Great bathroom. Amazing breakfast, served in your room at a time of your choosing. All of this hidden behind a plain wooden doorway on a lovely street. It's like your own secret hotel! If we are ever in Venice again, this is where we will stay!

Absolutely nothing!

Lovely small hotel in a great location, walking distance to everywhere. We were in the green room which was great, no view but didn’t matter as we spent little time in the room. A lovely continental breakfast is delivered to your room at your time of choosing and there’s plenty of food including pastries, meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt and fruit. The staff were delightful. Alvise and Silvia were so helpful, friendly and welcoming, giving us suggestions of restaurants, islands to visit and water boats to get. I’d definitely recommend the hotel and would stay again. We loved Venice!

Nothing not to like.

The staff here were so friendly and efficient, the guy on reception was so helpful and the lady that brought our breakfast every morning was so happy and welcoming. Location was excellent literally minutes from the Basilica but in a quiet area. Breakfast every morning was lovely and so filling with our choice of coffee. Room was clean, comfortable and the decor was traditionally Venetian which is what we wanted, we had a canal view room it was so nice to have breakfast in our room looking out on the canal. Would definitely recommend staying here.

It was all good.

The residence is a true Venetian experience; Decor is traditional Italian style with modern updates. Bathroom is huge. Rooms are comfy and very quiet. Tall ceilings. Note there stairs up to the second floor. Wifi excellent . Entrance is discrete and private. Venetian.host. He really went out of his way to suggest excellent out the way restaurants. We were there only one night but thoroughly enjoyed our time. Also recommended the water transit back to the bus station. Great route with great sights. Suggest you have a mobile phone with maps to navigate.

It's Venice. So understand that if you have luggage you need to transport it yourself. No cars.

Perfect location, full of life in the day and quiet in the evenings. Only five minutes from the Vaporetto stop and Piazza San Marco . All the staff were lovely. Alvise on reception was great, he was very knowledgable and gave us lots of information and tips for our stay. He welcomed us with a bottle of Prosecco in our room to enjoy! What a fab start to your holiday! Thank you. We stayed in the blue room, wonderful view, it was large, beautifully decorated in traditional Venetian style. It had very good WI-FI, The bed was comfy, air conditioning , a kettle, minibar….everything you need for the perfect stay. The Italian breakfast made for a wonderful start to the day, it was bought to your room and we sat with our full length glass doors fully open enjoying the view of a constant stream of gondolas along the canal. You will not be disappointed ….book it. A wonderful stay in a magical city!

The location is fantastic for access to major attractions, the facilities are wonderful and the staff are super-friendly and attentive!! Breakfast in our room overlooking the canal was picture perfect! Alvise & Michela THANK YOU! Your service, advice and hospitality were the best we’ve had - globally! Your instructions via whatsapp were so easy to follow and your recommendations for dinner and excursions MADE our stay. Thank you for making our anniversary celebration extra special with the decoration in our room! Grazie!!!

Quite literally, nothing!

The room was absolutely spectacular with a really great view overlooking a busy canal. Every morning we were greeted with an incredible breakfast spread and got to watch as the gondoliere led tours along the canal. Alvise, the front deskman, was also absolutely wonderful with tons of recommendations. This team goes above and beyond to provide a luxurious experience for all who are lucky enough to stay here while in Venice. We were celebrating my dad's retirement and when we got to the room we were greeted with a bottle of Prosecco and a little aperitivo. Truly thankful to the team for going above and beyond in every aspect of the stay.

There was nothing to fault with this accommodation. I have only great things to say about it and hope to return someday. It is very strategically located. You can reach San Marco within 7 minutes.

It's hard to describe this hotel - just wow! Beautiful room in Venetian style. The room is cozy, everything is clean. There is a kettle in the room, after the cool weather it was nice to warm up with a cup of tea. Breakfast is brought to the room, there are sweet croissants, yogurt, fruits, cheeses and salami. We really enjoyed! The hotel is located in the heart of Venice. There are a lot of restaurants around. It's a 10-minute walk from the Rialto Bridge, where you can take a water taxi to get to the St. Lucia station. It takes about 40 minutes to walk to the station, but you won’t regret it! The main thing is to raise your head up to admire the beauty around you. I 100% recommend this place!

Everything was great!

The room was opulent and we felt like First Class visitors. The location was ideal for everything we wanted to do in Venice. We have visited Venice many times before and this time specifically for the Biennale. The breakfast delivered to the room was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for our host and his staff. The air conditioning was quiet and effective - it was very humid during our stay and this allowed us to get a good night’s sleep and some respite.

Can’t think of a thing…

Visted Venice for the weekend with my Sister for my birthday. Before the travel date was sent a very helpful video from the Hotel with instructions of how to find the property. Good communication with Hotel when our plane was delayed and we were running late. Was given a glass of Prosecco and a Snack, which was well appreciated after the journey we had. Fantastic welcome from the Host Alvise, who gave brilliant recommendations on how to travel, where to visit and where to eat; we went to one of the many suggestioned restaurants and was not disappointed. The room was splendid and looked exactly as pictured (we were in the "Blue Room") in fact, it looked better in reality. Room was large and everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The Continental Breakfast was fantastic, more than enough to take you beyond Lunchtime! Delicious and Fresh, served in our room at our requested time with a lovely view of the Gonolas passing by. Bathroom clean and spacious with a good shower and clean towels each day. We would most definitely stay at Residenza Veneziana again!

There was nothing we didn't like about this property or stay, it was only a pity that it was very foggy.
