The desk staff was exceptional, the morning breakfast staff was in the best case all right. We arrived a few hours earlier and the room was ready for 12.30 instead of 3 PM, and it was very nice after a long journey of more than 14 hours. You can change USD or EURO at the hotel, safe and at a very good rate, much much better that at the Airport! The neighborhood is one of the best in Buenos Aires, near the hotel you can find at almost any hour two or three policemen; on Sunday you have in front of the hotel the famous San Telmo fair. A very good parking place at 100 meters, and at a low cost. The room was pristine, and staff for the room was exceptionally polite and helpful.

The breakfast was rich (especially for sweets and fruits) and seamed diverse the first day. The second day was exactly the same. And so on for 11 days, with not a single item changed, except for the chis. And this could be of no importance for one weekend, but boring for almost two weeks. No fresh vegetables at all. Prepare for scrambled eggs for the whole vacation. And not the best. Yogurt is only sweetened, and coffee...., well, we had worst.

The hotel's location is perfect! The rooms are amazing, with incredibly comfortable beds and an amazing bar service.

We arrived at 5 pm for our check-in and our rooms weren't available which we thought was super weird since check-in starts at 3 pm. The receptionist asked us to wait for 45 minutes so they could clean the rooms before we could check-in. This was an extremely uncomfortable situation for us since this was our last night in Argentina and we wanted to make the most of it. We had to wait about 30 minutes to get the keys to our rooms, which is not ideal for a hotel like this. I'm not sure I would stay here again since I was expecting the level of attention and care that I usually get when staying at a Hilton, but this didn't happen here.

The location was excellent, walking distance to the modern art museum, many excellent restaurants, and right on a lively square; Plaza Dorrego with music, restaurants, dancing and artisan booths. The Sunday market filled the entire length of Defensa street in front of the hotel and was great fun. I had the best steak sandwich of my life at the San Telmo market which is full of great shops and pubs, only a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Walk two blocks to the hop on, hop off bus in front of the Museum of Modern Art. Breakfast was excellent, standard fare for a good hotel with fresh pastries, and hot breakfast items. The rooms were modern, clean and moderately spacious for the price. Very comfortable. Felt very safe and secure. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.

One can always find something that may have been better, but for the price, location and physical plant it is hard to find something to complain about.

The bellman carried two enormous luggage pieces over a block to get a cab. On Sunday's there is an antiques market that takes up a park and streets adjacent to the park. But don't be discouraged about the location if your taking a cruise.the area is awesome. Tango dancing everyday. The market and great restaurants within 2 to 10 minute walk. You won't be disappointed. Exceeded all my expectations.

Nice historic property with really cute open air lounge at basement level. Breakfast area and bar areas were separate on that level. Nice wine selection in bar. Rooms were clean; shower was very nice with wooden floor and rainforest showerhead. Food was good in breakfast room, and other food that was ordered for dinner was delicious! The market area is just over a block away and has lots of food choices, along with restaurants around the square that the hotel sits in.

The location is excellent as it is right on the San Telmo square where a host of street vendors sell their wares, and musicians and tango dancer perform for tips. Itis only 2 blocks from the sprawing San Telmo market where there are a large variety of stalls offering local food. The staff was excellent and helpful. By USA standards, this is a 3.5 to 4 star hotel, and highly recommended for the price, -especially as we could pay in cash which we had received at the "Blue Rate" of exchange for our american $100 bills, which effectively reduced the actual cost by about 40%! And, breakfast was very good.

Staff and location. Bruno, the front desk is the best. Nothing is too much for him. We love the location, close to indoor markets, and many restaurants.

The room is not cold. There is a partition wall that separates the room. The wall blocks the ac. We called the front desk. The technician came to fix it, but the room is still not cold.

The staff was AMAZING, going above and beyond to help us get settled after arrival from the US and even arranged for delivery of a package we brought with us for a friend living elsewhere in Buenos Aires. Jeronimo was especially wondeful!

There were a few areas needing some minor maintenance, and the furniture in the common area could be updated. Apparently the surroundings were not overly safe after dark but we had no problem.

The breakfast was more then enough and the staff at breakfast are super helpful ...if you wanted any extra at a small cost they were happy to accommodate to you needs...the food was great and the breakfast room was relaxing with a bit of music playing and the TV on but no sound was super nice

The laundry was a little expensive it should be cheaper as in the area laundry is done very cheap so the hotel should do it as such

Very friendly and helpful staff. Nicely detailed modern spacious room with high cielings and openable window. Comfy bed and pillows. Very quiet in the middle of the city. San Telmo is a great location in BA with good shopping and restaurants, the hotel is in the corner of the main square. A very nice location for everything.
