Amazing location and good value for money. Staff were friendly and worked hard.

We were charged £100 as a retainer fee but at no point we’re we told about it. it was put on our card without us authorising it. Breakfast was cold today.

When I checked in £438 pounds was pre authorised on my card for the 2 rooms; absolutely fine, however when I checked out the next day and pay the bill in full, I would expect for the pending amount to either be used towards the final bill OR returned to me. Unfortunately, a week later and I still have £438 pending from my bank account. I’ve spoken to the hotel reception twice and unfortunately found the lady I spoke to not very helpful at all and she just sent me two emails of the same receipt. If anything I felt like an inconvenience to her as she was not interested in getting MY money back in to my account. Shame as very nice hotel but regretfully would not return due to this outstanding issue which is yet to be resolved with £438 owing to me.

The hotel was beautiful and the location was great, but what really stood out was the staff. They were so friendly and attentive and genuine. They are even shipping a stuffed bear to the US for us because we left him there. These guys are above and beyond!

The room service food wasn't great, but the bar was awesome. We never tried the restaurant or the afternoon tea service but they both looked amazing.

Location was excellent, room decor was lovely, mini fridge well stocked. Good WiFi, staff at check in very friendly and accommodating of my son who I was travelling with

Breakfast was disappointing. No juice as had all run out. Was shown to a table but noone came to take a drink order and when I went to ask for some juice and a tea I found the staff a bit dismissive. They said they could refill one of the juices but not all three and then left to do something else so I went without a hot drink and the juice was not refilled. There were a few members of staff around but noone was engaging or friendly if honest so bit of a disappointment. The bed was very uncomfortable. Was quite loud when moved around during the night.

Room was very nice, and SO clean. The bathroom was lovely, and also spotlessly clean. Hats off to the housekeeping staff, it was really spotless. Room had everything we needed, and was very quiet. The surroundings of the hotel, both inside and outside were lovely. The conversion from a terrace of houses is well done, and the hotel feels like 1 unit inside (not the case with a lot of these multi-house hotels!). Location is fab, a short walk to Royal Albert Hall, nice restaurants and lots of little grocery shops nearby, nice area to walk around. We didn't eat at the hotel, but the afternoon tea looked gorgeous and would definitely consider it for next time!

The bed was very bad. Totally uncomfortable, the worst bed we've had in a very long time. Barely slept because of this. needs upgrading to a decent mattress and base.. Checkout: we were not asked anything about our stay, it was just "you're checked out, bye". Most unusual.

Great location. Extraordinary staff (I would like to thank the reception manager for changing my room and congratulating me on my graduation with a bottle of excellent Sauvignon Blanc). Classic and elegant Kensingtonish exterior. New and stylish interior. Very clean. Quiet rooms. Nice and compact gym. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.

For a five-star hotel, the rooms and beds were too small, especially if you were two people. The breakfast was good and included the classics such as English breakfast, eggs, meat, vegetation options, etc. However, I would recommend adding more variety, such as smoked salmon.

Great location. Rooms and common areas very clean and stylish. Breakfast was very good - lovely breakfast/dining room. House staff were very friendly and polite.

Original allocated (atrium view) room was very small and bathroom was tiny. We had requested and received an upgrade to a city view room. Room was more of a standard size but bathroom still on the small side.

The staff were super friendly ! From day one I have asked for a bigger room for my parents and it was accommodated immediately by the guy on the reception! concierge service was excellent! Luggage service was outstanding! Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

A bit more access restrictions, room size we’re okay and acceptable however Keep in mind the hotel has different rooms we have booked the superior atrium which was considered small but would fit 2 !

Breakfast was amazing. Great selection of quality cooked foods and barista-made to order coffee. Beds were incredibly comfortable.

It wasn’t entirely clear what an ‘atrium’ room meant at time of booking. Only when seeing the room did it become clear there were no windows to the outside. I was fine with this for the price paid and quality of the rest of the hotel.
