Staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful! The main area of the lobby for drinks and meetings was very nicely appointed and the flowers in that area were beautiful. The exterior area was also nicely kept with pretty fall flowers. We stayed here in successive years about 7-8 years ago but then drifted away because the rooms became smaller and smaller, the service was not as good as when we first stayed at the hotel, and the pricing was too high. We decided to give the Kensington another try this year and were pleased.

Our room was small and our room experienced loud noises from a Club, I believe, on one Saturday night, late for about 2 hours. Otherwise, our stay was very nice! Our friend, who was traveling by himself commented that his room was very small.

Great location, staff were nice and lobby lounge is really nice. The room is comfortable. A little on the small side but expected for central London. Generally felt like great value for money.

The only thing I would say is the bathroom was a little cold. Didn't seem to have a heater inside. Also the water pressure was not ideal in the shower and the temperature kept changing from hot to warm. So the morning shower was the least enjoyable part of the stay. I didn't bring it up to the staff honestly so not sure if this could have been resolved during my stay. But it wasn't significant enough to bring up.

It was very comfy and felt like I was living in someone's house. Nice place.

My room wasn't clean when I arrived. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. The bin was full. There were new towels but the used ones had not been removed. There was some notes on the notepad and the bed wasn't made. I reported to the concierge and they apologised and the maid came to refresh the room. Apart from that disappointment it was fine. Restaurant was amazing.

The authentic blending of seven original London townhomes was so well executed, especially because it had so many wonderful modern touches built in for today’s discerning traveler. Everything from the incredibly kind and well trained staff, to the delicious breakfast, afternoon tea and mixologist at the bar was beyond our expectations! A firm favorite!

Staff is extraordinary. Everyone is attentive, friendly and helpful. All spaces are stylish and very clean.

This hotel is not cheap and they charge for every little thing. Breakfast is expensive, service charges automatically included for food and drinks purchased on premises. Many hotels of this level will give you a complimentary coffee or glass of champagne when you arrive, especially if you've had a long travel day or your room is not ready. This one does not.

It is such a charming hotel, in an old townhouse. Very nice but till quiet neighbourhood in Kensington/ Chelsea. But also a lot of restaurants around the corner and Hyde Parc on walking distance. The staff and concierge are wonderful, friendly and so very helpful! The decoration of the hotel is amazing! Stylish, unique and cozy. I am a returning guest and hope to remain one!!

the room and the bathroom were very small and there very litle closet space and no shelves or drawers, if I was not traveling alone it would have been impossible to unpack

We had a wonderful stay! The location is great, close to a lot of the attractions and walking distance to very nice restaurants, shops, etc. The staff is wonderful, Harvey was very attentive and kind. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and we had a fantastic afternoon tea. We highly recommend staying at The Kensington

The staff was incredibly helpful. This was our first time visiting London and we stayed first at The Kensington Hotel for the first leg of our trip. If we would have known what our next hotel entailed we would have stayed the entire time at The Kensington. The restaurant and bar were amazing and the staff was extremely attentive. The guest rooms were clean and well let. We appreciated the multiple styles of outlets. Perhaps one of the highlights of the hotel is Emiliano at concierge. Every night he booked us a new and interesting place for dinner. We never had a bad meal because of his expert advice. We would highly suggest this hotel to anyone heading to London.
