Location was exceptional, being right next to the station and a department store with all the associated comforts. The room while compact, was large enough for comfort and the beds and pillows provided (two were given with different levels of hardness, and this was much appreciated) were comfortable, as was the relatively spacious bathroom. The breakfast spread was impressive and I appreciated the highlights of Akita and the small write-ups about the local cuisine.

The reception itself was a little bit cold, even passing me by entirely to attend to the ladies behind me in the queue when I was waiting in line at the check-in counter, even though I had luggage under their care as well. They quickly rectified that however when I called out to them, but the person who assisted with storing the luggage was exceptionally friendly, so there was that.

Location can’t be beat. The staff were so nice. So nice. Breakfast was outstanding and the one thing I like the most was I was able to keep the temperature of the room cool. So hard to find in some hotels in Japan in winter! Most only allow you to heat the room. It was nice too keep the room colder to sleep. Also, everyone was professional and sweet. Want to come back soon. 🙌

The access to the train station was excellent. But signage was a bit confusing for me.

Very good location.value for money. I didn’t have much problems although I had a smoking room.

Difficult to communicate in English.

Location was really good, especially for rain that came in on Sunday at noon, three hours before the expected time via a weather application. My room was not disturbed by the nearby train station. It also is joined with the shopping mall.

Breakfast was missing some French toast, despite there being syrup put out. No waffles or pancakes either. So why have the syrup out? I wished for some more breads too. However, it is usually Japanese style breakfast, not European breakfast, and I expected it to be similar.

The staff were really good, especially the duty manager. It was my birthday and we were looking for a special restaurant for dinner, she went above and beyond to find one for us. I was also given a little present She not only booked the restaurant for us but also told them about my special occasion. I had a surprise birthday dessert!! Very pleasant stay!! Perfect location too! Highly recommended!!

Close to train station. Lots of retail and dining nearby.

The shower is a death trap, very slippery. Additionally, more English translation on key information would be helpful. I love Japan, however, the further you go from key cities, the less accommodating places are to non English speakers.

Beside the JR rail and you can walk from inside the shopping centre if they open. There are a variety of foods (western and japanese) and they give explanations to Akita's speciality. Ice coffe was good. They give plastic glove The room is big There are gyms but you need to make reservations at the receptionist.

Breakfast was very good, included local specialties! Room was spacious and nicely laid out. Front desk was very helpful and accommodated my request for 2 beds. Great that they provided complimentary bottled water!

Nothing to complain about…. I would stay there again. Some construction outside the hotel but didn’t obstruct entry.

Directly connected to Akita station, did not have to step out of the building to access the station. also, a 7-eleven directly connected to the hotel lobby via a side door. Room was very wide and bed was comfortable. Room was impeccably clean as well

Directional signage to the station could have been better

The hotel is just next to the JR station. The hotel room is tidy and also large. The staff are very nice and polite. The staff help carry baggage to the room.

The location of washing and drying room is not convenient to the guests staying at the main wing.
