Seeing all the reviews I was a bit worried but the hotel really suprised me :) * The building is quite old but it is generally clean. * The location is great just few minutes from Ohori Station and Park. Moreover, I have to tell here about the FUK Cafe - it's a place with a brilliant coffee and a great atmosphere just 1min from the hotel(!) * The staff is very kind. Even though they did not speak English, they were always nice and helpful * The room was clean, it had towels, electric kettle, additional small extension cord. * You can choose if you want to have your room cleaned by putting the tag on the doors. Even if you don't do it, you will have clean towels waiting for you in front of your doors :) * You can take some basic hygiene supplies, like toothbrush, and green tea bags from the reception for free

* The toilet is pretty small, so a bigger built person can be uncomfortable * As many people mentioned, the building is old and it is visible, especially in the corridor * I had to additionally pay some tax during my check in. I don't mind paying a small sum but it would be better if it was stated before

The hotel is a japanese style business hotel, maybe dated for the bubble years. It is a long time since I had a hotel without a washlet, but I have no issues with that. I had booked a room for two (since it was the same price) but my travel partner had to cancel on short notice. I used the second futon below the first and that helped my bad back a lot ... Breakfast is two bread rolls, joice, coffee hard boiled egg and if wanted an instant soup. Very nice for that price. The person at the reception was always helpful.

Futon was a little thin, but no problem since I could use two instead.

The location of the Hotel is conviniently located near the subway station Ohori Park. The rooms are spacious. The Hotel is a bit old, but the prices are excellent, it has a very good Value-for-Money Ratio. I recommend it mostly to people that travel alone. I like the Japanese Room option where you sleep on a Futon on Tatami-Mats.

There’s convenience store, cafe, park, drug store, subway station so location is perfect and Ohori park is located in 10 minute walk. There’s Starbucks too. also cheap and staff were friendly

Bathroom is kinda small so if you’re big person then I don’t think it’s good place to stay. Also hotel itself is old so looks like it’s rundown but if you stay here to just sleep then it’s perfect I guess

The breakfast is very good, individually packed was very convenient for my takeaway. The orange juice is 100% freshly squeezed! My traditional tatami flooring room has everything needed, even a yukata. It's also super close to the subway, the parks and eateries. The staff are very helpful and friendly, too. Best of all, the price is really too good to be true.

It's a little run-down.

Value for money. This is a nice and clean place where you primarily sleep. Very friendly staff. Close to subway that swiftly takes you anywhere. Beautiful park and lake area nearby. Pubs and restaurant nearby.

Would have enjoyed a bit better breakfast.

A little small for the bathroom and not too much space in the room when the beds are down. Breakfast was very sparse and not advertised as such

Nice budget accommodation option in Fukuoka, nice area close to the park and good restaurants. Basic breakfast included in the price! Really nice staff.

The place is a bit old and would improve with some renovation.
