Improvement in the food service availability. Last time the cafe wasnt operational and there was no breakfast option. This time the cafe was operational and breakfast was included which topped off a great stay in old hakata town. The coffee at the cafe 'Then:' was good - cant say that of all cafe in Japan - but this one was tasty to my pallet.

Washing and drying machines no longer on the floor. Having to go looking for laundry services was a backward step from my last visit and stay at this hotel. Its still in a great location for my needs in Fukuoka.

Location is nice and quiet. Facilities are modern. You can control the ac, which we appreciated since it is hot during summer. The bed is amazing! It is big and the bed sheet is super smooth (high thread count). We will definitely stay here again.

Small room which is normal in Japan. Only one pillow per person, when we asked, we were only given 1 extra. No taxi within the vacinity, probably because it was rush hour. We walked from hotel to Hakata station which was okay, probably 15 min walk.

The location of the hotel was amazing, the room was a little small but for 2 people it was fine, we were comfortable. It was clean and very central so we were very happy.

We arrived to the hotel at 8am because we had an early flight, thankfully they took our luggage but we couldn't check in until 4pm. The room service ends at 1pm so it was a little frustrating that we couldn't get an early check in but it wasn't too bad and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed for the Yamakasa 山笠, received a warm welcome from the helpful staff. Recommended point: spacious room with separated sink, toilet & shower/ 4am coffee stop for Yamakasa which I surely need/ good location that located at the Yamakasa route, seems like you could just head to the ground floor & watch the event without pushing around unlike the people just cross the path/ 11am checkout time which I am appreciated after an early wake-up

Location was just fine in downtown Fukuoka, with a subway station not far away. This is a very neat and tidy modern hotel. The bed was comfortable enough. No tub but a nice shower setup did the trick.

There was nothing not to like...given the location near so many places to eat and shop, I had no issue with the lack of breakfast facilities on site.

Friendly and helpful staff, walking distance from hakata train station, modern rooms, nice restaurants and convenience stores in the immediate area - found the in floor lighting pretty neat!

Lack of places to hang towels etc in bathroom was a challenge especially for two people in the room. Rooms are very small, two people and two backpacks are are about the max - at least for the room we were in.

The room was clean. The staff is really helpful and they speak english. There is also a coin washer and dryer in the 6th floor.

Beside the bed there were two led-lighted swithes that shined brightly straight into eyes when sleeping on side. So a sleeping mask was a must.

The staff were very friendly and helpful! I enjoyed the security of having the card be an elevator key. The room was clean, comfortable and well furnished. I liked that the complimentary water was cartoned and not bottled.

I wasn't a big fan of the light by the door being on all the time (there was no off switch as far as I could tell), even with the option of blocking it out with the sliding door. This was different than the room I stayed in last time though, so I know not all the rooms are like this.

Very modern building, excellent location - close to everything yet quiet. The room was very spacious. The staff were polite and helpful - gave us a great breakfast recommendation.

There was a kettle and mugs in the room but no tea or coffee. The café was temporarily closed so no coffee or breakfast on site. There was only one pillow on each bed.

Comfortable bed, clean room and bathroom. It was a good stay for 1 night.

Check in at 4pm took a bit of time (there was a queue and required putting your details into a tablet) - apparently you could "pre check in" but I didn't get the email for it until after I had checked in manually at the desk.
