Location was ideal, just about 200 meters from Gion subway station (easy access to/from Fukuoka Airport), plus there is a Family Mart and Max Value within very close proximity. Walking to Hakata and Tenjin is also possible. The room was spacious (by Japanese standards)and very comfortable. I had a restful night here. The bed/mattress/pillows were just the right firmness, offering ideal comfort.

The hotel is in a fantastic location! It's a short walk to 3 subway stations, Kawabuta Shopping Arcade, Canal City, Amu Plaza, and Aeon Supermarket. Needless to say, one can find plenty of affordable food outlets all within easy reach from the hotel. The room is reasonably spacious & the housekeeping does a very good job getting it cleaned daily. 👍🏻👍🏻

Perhaps some English channels on TV like CNN or BBC perhaps? The mirroring function from one's mobile device to the TV is good but unfortunately, it didn't work well for me.

Location was great, a few minutes walk from Gion subway station. The hotel room is nicely decorated and the bathroom with tub is very spacious for Japan standards. However, that takes spaces away from the room. The room size was just ok. Doesn’t really feel big enough with two twin beds, but that’s pretty normal in Japan too. Easy checkin checkout process. Good quality bathroom amenities provided in lobby. There is a coin laundry room and you can even monitor if there are any open machines on your TV. Cool ironing machine in room.

Breakfast can have more variety. 70% of the food are the same everyday and the selection wasn’t that many to begin with. There were only orange juice, milk, water, coffee, and tea for drinks, not even soda. There are only 3 laundry machines and there can be a long line depending on the day, the instruction was confusing too. The instruction says I need to select a PIN number before I start the cycle so no one else can open it, but in reality it just starts without asking you to enter a PIN after you pay. Employee doesn’t seem to know if the PIN is needed either.

At check-in for the 5 nights stay, front desk staff Kushan and Yumi tirelessly helped me to alert JR authority that I carelessly left a bag on the Shinkansen from Hiroshima to Hakata. We managed to travel to Kagoshima on Shinkansen the next morning to retrieve the bag that contained all my silk clothes and prescription medicines. Without the Japanese script written by Yumi to explain the situation, the JR staff in Kagoshima might not be able understand my inquiry. Good that I had photos of the lost bag to prove my ownership. Gina at the Reception spoke fluent English and was pleasant and helpful. Friendly front desk team. Delicious daily breakfast with wide range Japanese food made in house. Cheese cake hight and tasty. Ramen super provided on most nights. Mr Tokuyama (my apology if spelt his name incorrectly) who was in charge of the restaurant worked incredibly hard throughout the day and night. He should get some breaks. Location not near the station, but a convenient bus ride JPY150 will take you to the Ekimae. Same price to Tenjin commercial area. Newly refurbished hotel. Bathtub nicely shaped to provide a softly curved notch as a comfortable head rest. Lovely to have plum tea provided in the room.

Can be hard to book taxis to Hakata. Long wait when we were in a hurry.

The location is accessible to train and malls. The staff are all accommodating and friendly. The amenities like coffee, skin products ,hair oil are added bonus.

I liked basically everything. The hotel is very clean and looks nice. The room was very nice and the big window & the view was a big plus, the bathroom was clean and the shower/bathtub was good. I would recommend 100%.

A little but of dust in some places but it wasn’t bad at all. I didn’t really like the fact that even though the room was ready before the check in, I would have had to pay to get it an hour before. I’ve never had this happen before, usually if the room is ready you can get it if you’re there earlier.

Location is very good and near places such as Canal City and Kawabata shopping area, and easy access by subway to other places like Tenjin and Hakata for shopping. Many eateries near the hotel and within walking distance. Hotel is new and very clean.

There is not enough hanging bar or hooks inside the toilet for clothes or for used bath towels. There are no city maps and brochures on places of interest in the English version.

1. The staff is friendly. We arrive a little eariler than the check-in time. But since there is one room available at that time, we checked in in advance. 2. The room is small (as our expectation) but fully equipped, and clean. 3. The location is quite good. It is convienient to go to the tourist points and shopping place.

The front desk was very helpful, especially the intern and the manager, who worked diligently to resolve the issues I raised. Since this was a family trip, with different arrival times and room arrangements, they assisted us professionally and kindly. Their support was truly invaluable.

Location was superb, very near the major areas. Very nice that there was a nearby convenience store as well. Staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs. Room was clean and tidy. Was a very nice stay overall!

Room was a bit tight for my luggage but it was just a minor inconvenience. Was able to manage in the end.
