This is a generally standard business hotel that is spiced up by a couple of novelties: one, you are most likely not going to encounter any humans from the hotel on your stay. At the reception, it is self check-in, guided by a couple of animatronic dinosaurs -- this could be disconcerting for adults, but highly amusing for kids. Two, your hotel room has a resident chatty pocket bot (if you've ever seen James May's Japan tour, you'll know what this is). It is cute. It is also annoying. The first thing I did was to switch it off. At any rate, the room is decent, with standard business-hotel fiberglass bathroom with tub, pajamas, and direct access to the next building's onsen facilities. There are a couple of vendo machines which may be useful considering that the hotel is a bit of a walk away.

The location is a bit of a walk away. Yes, it is one ride to the airport. But the hotel, located seaside, needs a bit of a walk to get to from the train station. An easy 20 minute walk if you're backpacking it (the overhead pedestrian lanes are wonderful), but a bothersome one if you have big luggage with you. It is also about a 20 minute walk away from everything in the area -- supermarket, outlet mall, food. Again, an easy walk if you're not carrying anything, but bothersome if you are shopping and you have no car with you. Fine for young people but if you're a senior traveling by train then this may not be for you.

Perhaps the craziest check-in experience I've had to date, though there were many steps required to complete the self check-in. Requested for a sea view room and it did not disappoint. Facilities were clean, and the hotel even provided free umbrellas due to it being the rainy season.

Location probably not the best compared to some of the other airport hotels that were closer to the station. It's still only a 10-15 min walk either way if familiar with the route. Water not provided, and the nearest convenience store is located at the train station. Bed was pretty hard as well; I've definitely slept on better.

Good buffet breakfast. Very pleasant staff in restaurant and hotel. The onsen is nice and has an ocean view. Room was quiet, very clean and beds comfortable. The robot velociraptors had trouble checking us in, so we had to call a real human staff member to assist with that. It all was sorted pretty quickly.

We arrived after midnight on a rainy night and were walking to the hotel from Rinkutown train station. It was quite difficult to find signage to find the hotel in those circumstances. It is located next to AquaIgnis and near the Kansai ice rink ( which are a bit easier to see) if anyone finds themselves in a similar situation.

Great value room for the price. Would recommend if you want an affordable comfy option to transfer to airport. 10min walk from train station, easy to get to airport in the morning. Checkin was super quick (done via dinosaur robot of all things!). Vending machines on site, free foot massager in room, free pyjamas available, nice sunset view, spacious room by Japan standards, everything you need supplied in bathroom.

I was excited to use the onsen on site but like many in Japan, we were told we weren't allowed as we have tattoos. I respect this, but if it's a hotel business that want's to appeal to western/foreign tourists too this is something to consider as there will be many people excluded (approx 30% of Australians in their 20s/30s have tattoos for example).

The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a good selection of dishes offered. The hotel was close to the airport. The hotel room we stayed in was a little small but it was very clean and comfortable. It was a nice overnight short stay.

Wished there was a shuttle service to and from the airport. We arrived at night so we had to walk to the hotel in the dark so that was a little scary experience since we were unfamiliar with the area and not sure if we were going in the right direction. But in the end, we were able to find the hotel pretty easily. Not enough towels provided. We had to use the same bath towels that we took to the hot springs and to bathe in the hotel room.

The hotel is incredible. First thing is the marine-themed reception with two cute robots that welcome you to the hotel. Check-in and check-out are smooth and you can do it yourself, but staff comes very quickly if you need assistance. The room was SO spacious, and had a beautiful and relaxing view that we would just sit and look at. It seemed quite clean during our short stay. They offer comfortable pajamas and plenty of amenities, you even have a laundry room and vending machines in the floor. The breakfast room has the same beautiful view and the buffet is incredible, so many Japanese dishes to choose from! I haven't even mentioned the onsen yet; having the chance to bathe in hot spring water while staying at a hotel is next-level. I would book again.

The location of hotel is further compared to other hotels that are nearer to the train station. But there is a 24hrs food joint (joyfull) and a 24 hours supermarket (trial) nearby (250m). There is a self service laundry machine, vending machines and ice machine. You can get your basic amenities at the ground floor (razor, body towel, hair brush, toothbrush and nightwears) Just make sure to pre-check in to save the hassle of having to pay at the 'dinosaurs'!

The bed isn't that comfortable. Toilet is a bit small, even for average people, but worth the budget. No taxi stand nearby, so had to walk to the station (500m) to get to the taxi stand. The 4star rate for the hotel doesnt really represent the hotel overall.

Nice sea view from the room. Not too far to walk from the station. Very clean room. Helpful staff.

Arrived from the airport very late at night It was too dark outside to easily navigate ourselves from the station. You must have your instructions and the map ready as there's no signs as soon as you leave the ststion and no one to ask. Checking in wasn't smooth at all. It took ages and the staff would come out to help every time I got stuck but disappeared every time. I think the nearest convenience stores were all around the station area so you probably want to shop before you set off to the hotel.

The dinosaur robots at check in were a great novelty. It was easy to check in and out even though there was no contact with a human. The room was clean and comfortable; however, the small robot in our room would start talking at random times. The instructions on how to interact with it were confusing and not easy to translate into English. I'm not even sure if the robot spoke English. It was nice that the restaurant was open late at night since there are limited food choices in the area (or so it appeared that way to us.) This is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking for something close to the KIX Airport. It is close to the train station and just one stop away from KIX.

We felt that there could have been better signage - especially late at night for weary travelers. The entrance to the hotel is difficult to find in the dark. We ended up paying for a taxi and our ride was only 5 minutes away. Also, there is signage in the hallway to the restaurant, but it is unclear that you have to remove your shoes and walk through the lockers to go to the restaurant. We did not want to go to the onsen and turned around. The only reason we found the restaurant was due to the signage outside. Our group felt that it could have been a little more English tourist friendly - especially being so close to the international airport.

I needed a layover hotel close to the Kansai airport and this was super ideal! I didn't know how long it would take for me to get through the passport control and deal with picking up wifi, exchanging money etc at the airport to know exactly when I would get to the check-in counter. But it wasn't a big deal because there were two amazing automated dinosaurs waiting as you walk in and an easy to use computer monitor. Fantastic! and super fun. I also knew that after a long day of travel that I really wanted an onsen option at the hotel so this was the perfect place. I didn't even realize the hotel was there as I walked from the local train station and walked right past the big spa and then walked back to see the hotel next to it. Driving is easier to get here, but I took the train from the airport only one stop. Quiet street at night in the dark was no problem at all, except the gps may not realize you are on a sidewalk and that the hotel / spa are up on a hill from the sidewalk. Funny, but I made it just fine. The room was super comfortable. Having the slippers and the ticket to the onsen makes me want to just go back there again on every trip! The vending machines were also great because there's nothing else around the hotel if you walked here like I did. I even had some ice cream! The spa is worth the visit. I also loved being able to look out the window at the water and the airport in the distance. The breakfast was fantastic. I will definitely stay here again if I fly to Osaka or I'll find this brand hotel in other places. Super awesome!

I saw other people wearing the spa yukata or matching shirt and shorts. I could not figure out where they got them. They weren't in the room - I looked everywhere. They weren't in the spa. It was only after I walked back out to the registration area to check out that I saw a big shelf with them stacked up. I basically walked right by it, possibly not noticing it as I walked through the door with my luggage or maybe it was empty that night. Oh well. If you do stay here just remember to look for that after you check in and can go through the first door with your door key.
