Pretty good location; the piers, Yokohama Stadion, Chinatown, Marine Tower are all within walking distance. Haneda airport is about an hour away via train with just one quick transfer at Yokohama station. Although the rooms are small, it's good enough for short-term and having a private room makes it great value compared to capsule hotels. You get basic amenities like slippers (on the smaller side though, but they were still barely usable for me), a TV in your room, towels and toothbrushes. There was hot water dispenser and some tea and instant coffee in the kitchen too. Self check-in and check-out is nice and easy, although I only got the e-mail about the self check-in and my room number after 19:00, so I did get a bit worried and called in advance to confirm. For check-out, you can just leave your key in a box at reception. I also ordered a sim card and had it delivered to the Hotel, the staff member was very kind and brought it to my room right away.
The mattress was pretty thin so the bed felt a bit hard, and the pillow was filled with little plastic tubes, which isn't the worst, but I guess it's an acquired taste. The room also had a sort of dusty smell but I guess you get used to it, and opening the window+door helps ventilate. There are only 3 floors with showers (2 for men, 1 for women) so you might have to take the elevator to get there.

Room is clean, simple and spaces enough for one person. Sharing bathroom is clean. Wifi is excellent. Staff is helpful and friendly. Have washing machine and vending machine. Best part is got Lawson nearby just few walking steps from hotel. You can also rent bicycle from LUUP spot just in-front of hotel.
I don't really have actually when I think about it. Because I'm season traveler. If I want to give I didn't like is the noise from outside main road. At night, you will hear ambulance siren sound but not frequently. And after 9pm, there will be no staff or front desk open but that's not an issue.

The single rooms were larger than expected and well equipped with a fridge, folding table, mirror, and TV. I couldn't hear my neighbour on either side. The room was exactly what I needed for a single night. Everything was clean and clearly signposted. Sleeping on tatami mats can be a little hard if you're not used to it.
Room smelled slightly musty, but not enough to bother me. The tiny pillow full of beans was unusual.

The Family Room was great - it contained 1 small table, 1 TV, 1 aircon-heater, 1 mini-fridge, 1 mirror, 1 closet with many hangers to hang clothes, futon sets, bath towel and face towel set per person, slippers to walk around the common areas with, multiple sockets at either sides of the room. Clean tatami and carpet. Room had no odour, and we had 2 large slide doors that open to the balcony in case you need fresh air! The floor had shower (included shampoo and body wash), bathroom, and facilities room which had hair dryers, hot and cold coffee/tea/water machine, and extra sinks. All the facilities and common spaces were very clean and I felt quite safe using them. The instant miso, sugar, and milk for the coffee was a nice touch I really appreciated. With 3 toilet stalls, I never had to wait to use the bathroom. Although, there were only 2 shower stalls, so during peak hours expect to wait.
Pillow was uncomfortable - its filled with these squishy plastic bits. But as I was only staying for 1 night, this didn't matter. No toothbrush or make up remover were available, despite the email saying they would be available. But at the next door combini, you can buy pretty much everything.

The hostel is quite basic, but with all necessary stuff. There even is a laundry rooms. Cold and hot drinking water available. The reception handled our slightly late arrival very effectively (just left our rooms open for us). For the price, very nice!
There is enough of shared toilets (men and women have separate ones on alternating floors), but there seem to be only two showers for man and two for women for all the floors. Not a big deal, you just might wait a little.

It is a good place to stay for the short term, as the room is super small. Near proximity to the Chinese street and other tourist spots, including sea harbour. I liked that they had much earlier check-in time (15 o'clock) than usually we had in other locations. They have free coffee and tea.
There was a weird smell inside the room, smelled like chemicals. The pillow was uncomfortable, and the neck hurt. It is a little bit inconvenient that female and men's toilets are on different floors.

Super comfy rooms, small and perfect for travelers. The showers and toilets, although communal, were clean and as private as they could be. The area around the hotel had many delicious restaurants as well. Ishikawacho Station is also only about a 10-minute walk away.
The area around the hotel was noisy with ambulance sirens, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The staff were very nice.
The smoking room was next to my room and the smell of the smoke got into my room.

Really friendly laid back staff, I wanted to leave my bags at the hotel before 4pm and he let me check in early. The room was very cute with everything I could need like a fridge. Also free tea!
Location was a bit inconvenient for getting around, it is close to a train station which you can get to yokohama easily from though which makes it easier. And it's very close to China Town and some beautiful views of the bay so that was lovely!

It was a great value right in downtown Yokohama. So much, like Chinatown and even Minato Mirai, is accessible by foot on a nice day and the stations aren't far.
Nothing. A couple times there were some loud younger guests but that's unavoidable.
