It was a very clean, quiet and functional hotel very conveniently located near Omicho Market and the Castle, and there's a Family Mart nearby. I really loved the design of the Superior Twin room as it was spacious and very user-friendly in the space layout and aesthetics! I also appreciated the firm bed and pillow that was a mix of firm and soft, depending on which side used. I appreciate too the Japanese hospitality where they provided a useful selection of toiletries, and also food and drinks throughout the day, and the breakfast selection was very good too -- a very wide variety of international and Japanese options! I loved that they had a public bath with both indoor and outdoor options!

Nothing. I was very pleased with my choice. The walk from the station wasn't too long -- about 20 min away, but in the winter and with my heavy luggage, it seemed a bit longer. But, nonetheless, it's a good location for sightseeing.

Probably the best value stay I’ve ever had! Very comfortable room that came with a dehumidifier that I used for white noise, though there wasn’t much outside noise to cover; soundproofing between rooms was quite good. The best part though was all the free goodies that came with the stay, particularly the evening treats and wine! It was so nice to come back from exploring the city and settle in the large lounge area with a glass of wine before heading up to the room. I stayed in much “fancier” places on the rest of my Japan trip and I honestly missed this place! Felt right at home.

The serve free sparkling wine on weekend breakfasts, provide free drinks and cocktails from 5pm to 7pm. They also have smoothies in the early morning and a late night light meal, all included. There's tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks available for most of the day. Very comfortable, huge rooms although a little dimly lit. I caught the flu and had to stay indoors all day and this was the best hotel to stay indoors in. The breakfast was mostly Japanese, the Western section had yogurt, fruits and vegetables, one cereal and 5 or so bread options, so still quite good. The Japanese breakfast was wonderful and a few items changed everyday. As a vegetarian I had more than enough to eat each morning. The location was quite good. Very close to the castle and Kenrukoen which are the main attractions, and there's a great Italian place just downstairs. It was 20 minutes from the train station however but you can catch a bus just outside the hotel that takes you directly to the station.

They only had two washer-dryers for the whole hotel which would be full in the evenings.

Nice hotel in a great location. We were close to all the main point of interest: Kenroku-en Garden, the castle, etc. When we arrived there were free refreshments which was great because it was incredibly hot. At night, staring ~9.30pm there are free rice and beverages. The receptionist explained everything to us, very clearly and was very kind. The breakfast was good, with Japanese options, not just continental breakfast The room was bigger than we expected, comfortable and clean.

Difficult to find something to complain about.

Everything about this hotel was excellent. The room was clean and spacious, fully equipped, offered free wifi, had views and centrally located to so many attractions, food and shopping options and easy walk to the train station or transport. Loved that the hotel offered daily complimentary drinks and snacks encouraging an active downstairs, in an attractive foyer. Craft options and onsens were also available as were practical complimentary toiletries and staff were always pleasant and helpful.

Good location, about a 8 mins ride from the main station. Decent sized and clean room, beautiful clean onsen; I used this twice during my two night stay and was on my own. Lots of choice for free amenities like cleansing oil, moisturisers, hair bands etc which was super handy. The free happy hour in the evening plus the endless free tea and coffee in the restaurant is a really lovely touch.

I waited both evenings to use the washing machines, I think for the size of the hotel there should be more than two machines.

The hotel offers free snacks and drinks at various points during the day. This was much appreciated. Hotel was quite a way from the main Kanazawa railway station, but was close to the castle and gardens.

Where I come from, there are no smoking hotel rooms. When booking, smoking/non-smoking wasn't something I paid attention to. I took the rooms recommended to me. Unfortunately, 2 of them were smoking (we needed 3 rooms for our family of 5). These rooms were smelly and I was disappointed. There wasn't room to move us. It was my fault, but it did taint the experience.

Loved the complimentary teas coffees juices afternoon snacks happy hour wines and supper-time Ochazuke in the main guest lounge which was particularly great for meeting up with family members also staying. We all want to go back there again!!!

I liked everything fairly much. My daughterinlaw was a bit annoyed tho when she paid for breakfast in cash but was later questioned about whether or not she had paid as there seemed to be no record

First, I like the snacks, drinks that includes coffee, tea, tomato juice, wine (only to certain time) and supper, simple and just nice. location is strategic, mostly of the buses will pass by the bus stop nearby (less than 5 min walk). facilities such as self service laundrette, need to drop in coins, vending machine and Onsen. they are serious about cleanliness and hygiene. At the food area, guest are encouraged to sanitise their hands and wear gloves (provided) staff are polite and nice. I accidentally left my key card in the room, the front desk lady immediately helped me to settle it. thank you very much.

The hotel had lots of free things, like happy hour (which was actually 2 hours every day with unlimited wine and Prosecco), some tea with sweets and even some evening snack. The room was spacious and we liked the automated check-out service. The location was good, 20 mins walking from the station but the area around was good and it was very close to the Castle and Kenroku-en garden.

We were unexpectedly charged for city tax even if on booking.com it was written that we paid 100% . I felt really unwell that day with some strong pain, we explained that and asked the reception to check-in earlier than 3 pm, we were allowed but were charged a fee for it. We were ok to pay as I really needed some rest but it felt rather inhuman from the reception staff to charge people extra when a person felt that unwell.
