Great location, good kitchen for use, wonderful outdoor and indoor lounge areas. Sleeping rooms have air conditioning. It was easy to walk to the Sawara Float Museum (highly recommended) and several temples and shrines. The eel restaurant across from the hostel walkway entrance is really good. I didn't rent a bicycle, but the rates for rental are very low.

The common areas can get quite hot during the warm months. They don't offer breakfast, but tea is free and plentiful in the kitchen. It's easy enough to bring your own food for breakfast.

No breakfast provided but the staff were nice enough to recommend a nice cafe nearby for breakfast. We were also able to leave our luggage outside of checkin and checkout times, no problemo

Walls are thin so you can easily hear people talking in the room next door.

-Location very short walk from train station and near to the tourist attraction -Staff allowed luggage safekeeping before check-in -Clean common area and amenities, very comfortable bed with basin in the room

-Guests at the room right next were talking at the top of their lungs at night even though they are aware there are other guests around

I was comfortable and quiet for a hostel. We had our own en suite bathroom and shower. Nie facilities. Close to the train station and the scenic Sawara river walk.

I had to wear slippers inside but that is the Japanese way of doing things. The walls felt thin because I oould hear neighbors noise next door.

Location was good, 15 min walk from the train station and about 20 min walk to city center. Room was very clean and comfy though have access to 2 power outlet per bed.

There is only two showers, one for female and one for male.

The property is really comfy with even more accommodations than you ask for ! The place is super clean and the beds are comfortable futons. Hosts are kind and try to make everyone’s stay as best as they can.

7mins walk from Sawara Station, nice unagi place just right next door, old-town river walk just behind the hostel. Comfortable and clean room. Living room and kitchen are nice and clean too.

Difficult to find for first timer as the sign is not visible. BUT be in mind, it is in the middle of a huge car park space, behind NTT building.

The staff was really nice, and open to having a good chat. He also made sure people kept quiet at a reasonable time for a good sleep. Also I could keep my bike inside.

Good location to explore the town. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Free parking. Place was nice and clean. Host was polite and try to meet each guest's needs.

Wall was very thin so can hear clearly sounds from next door.

the place is lovely , clean and kitcken is well equipped, you can freshly grind coffee beans from the hostel! we enjoyed it very much

its noisy, the walls are thin so even walking of other people is clearly heard also it's too close to train cross so from early morning u wake up with "din ding ding ding"
