This hotel was great! Right by Kochi Station, it offers prime location for quick trips to nearby destinations in Shikoku. We went to Aki and Sakawa, and thanks to the close location we literally headed out some 10 or 15 minutes before the train would depart, which is very convenient. The check-in and check-out experience is fully automated, which is interesting but also efficient, as I saw no queues during our week long stay. The breakfast was very good, set in an ample cafe that is turned into a library for the rest of the day, with free coffee and tea so you can get to read comfortably for when it rains all day long. Room was awesome -- spacious, well taken care of, spotless clean, and with an amazing view. Room service was timely and thorough. Would definitely recommend, I will gladly stay here if I ever visit charming Kochi again!

Location to sights in Kochi City itself is not optimal, but also not too bad. You can find restaurants and convenience stores 5 minutes away, and if you keep walking for another 5 or 10 you can get to the city's main markets and attractions.

Great stay and so comfy and clean! Everyone was so welcome and we would definately come back. Breakfast was also great every morning.

The room offered massage services so we went down to organise this at reception. We assumed they would either let us know the location to go to or send us to an alternative room in the hotel however two people came to our bedroom and asked us to lay on the bed. My partner is 6ft and feet were hanging off. I enjoyed my massage however my partner did ask to stop as he was uncomfortable. They were so lovely! Just maybe look into organising a seperate room with an actual pop up massage bed or don't advertise the service in the bedroom.

Love the location, the lovely library and temporary luggage parking facility (a first that I've come across), hearty breakfast selection, and the room shower/toilet and overall floor space is spacious for a city hotel. We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay.

This is not something that we didn't like... Just that it would have been nice to have receptionists who can converse in basic English. We had a little challenge conversing with staff when we asked for restaurant recommendations. But this is a minor issue for us. All the staff we met are very kind and courteous. Oh one more thing, the pillows were a little too flat for us. We like the curved shape that's good for the neck however, we would have liked the pillows to have a higher height to support our necks a little better

Convenient location, walkable to the station and there's a bus stop right outside leading to key places around. Check-in was automated via machines and very smooth. There's also a secure lock for leaving luggages before check-in time. Breakfast was great. Just wish it had butter instead of margarine. They also have bicycles for borrowing.

The little phone rest beside the bed was only small enough to have a phone but not a charger. Very minor, I'm being nitpicky. This was a great hotel and I will come again.

The location is very convenient and very near the JR station. The checkin staff is very polite and helpful. We came late and the car park was full, we were allowed to use the disabled carpark which was the only one left. The hotel is very new. I don’t know if it is newly renovated or it is a new hotel. Everything is clean and modern. The hotel provides free coffee till 12 midnight. The breakfast is free for all guests and is very tasty. Coffee tastes good too. The cheese bun is excellent. Self checkout procedure is very easy. Just insert your room card into the machine and it’s all done! The self luggage storage with chain lock is interesting and convenient.

The pillow is not comfortable.

Comfort Hotel gas a good model . We knew what to expect having stayed at the chain in Matsayuma. . Parking is easy and the library/ breakfast room is a great asset. Double room is a bit tight- bed against the wall - I would recommend requesting a twin room for more space

Even though the area is a near the station it’s a bit lacking in restaurants shops etc. we had trouble finding a place to eat.

I've been staying in hotels all around the country for nearly 10 years and this is easily the cleanest room I've ever stayed in. Spotless. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The list of all included services is impressive. We borrowed bikes at no extra cost and rode them around Kochi for hours. The breakfast is an ever changing buffet every morning that started our days off on the right foot. The hotel can be seen from the entrance of JR Kochi station and couldn't have been better. We really enjoyed our trip to Kochi but this hotel really made the stay even better.

Very small suggestion. The only suggestion I would make is to give guests the options of not getting new towels/tooth brushes if the room wasn't made up. We like the option of not wasting things, so when we kept receiving new items we just had to pile them up. I realize it's part of the amazing service, but having some choice would be nice. We loved everything else.

Great location, right next to the Kochi station. Friendly staff and room was bigger than I was expecting for a business hotel. The free breakfast is super convenient and was delicious! They also allow you to take the food to your room, in case you don't want to expose yourself by eating next to others in the restaurant.

They have a parking lot next to the hotel which you can use by paying 800 yen per day. However, you cannot leave and enter freely once you parked your car. I don't mind paying for it, but it is a bit annoying that you cannot use your car freely while staying in the hotel. Of course, you can use the associated coin parking lots around the hotel, which charge by time, but using them is apart from the 800 yen.

Hotel is really well located. Rooms are ok size, cleaned every day. Breakfast was good, different options to pick from, breakfast room is spacious. Parking was very convenient, we were always able to park at the hotel but they also have recommendations in case it’s full.

Only thing I can say is that the staff doesn’t speak English so it wasn’t easy to be understood. They are always making lot of efforts and they supported as much as they could

This is the third Comfort Hotel that I stayed at in Shikoku. Its a reliable budget friendly chain that is entirely non smoking. The room was comfortable clean and there was a choice of pillows as I found the one in the room too hard. The breakfast buffet is simple but adequate. The library is a nice place to relax. The hotel offers a map with restaurant suggestions. There was a large parking lot. I will stay at this chain of hotels again .

Could hear the traffic and trains. Room faced the train station side.
