--the cleanliness --the bed --the spacious room --facilities --location - a leisurely walking distance to the shopping area --near supermarket Fresco - can buy ready to eat food and bring back to the hotel (wait until discounted!!) --near yoshinoya --theres a bento place also just before yoshinoya, with a cheap bento for 680 Yen. Selling only from 1100-1300. hotel also provide microwave and you can heat up your food --if youre up for walking, ( I love walking so I can see what's the place has to offer) you can walk to the Kiyomizu-dera and what's around it. its a long walk about 40 mins. from the hotel to the main road then turn left and all the way straight --theres also a small public bath house (Sento) Ume Yu , about 17 mins walk. nice to soak during winter time. this is not onsen, just a public bath house, you can find them on Google too. cheap entrance at 560 Yen including small towel. otherwise bring ur own reasonable size towel

Everything about my stay was amazing. Great location, close enough to the subway, food options around and so much more! Check in and check out was so easy and simple. Great that they had a laundry room to do some laundry during my stay. The rooms were spacious as well compared to other places I have stayed. Highly recommend booking this hotel for your Kyoto trip. Nice and quiet area!

There is a small window and the sensor lights came on and off constantly and stayed on for quite a while before it turned off again. Would recommend a blind or curtain to block that part. Interrupted my sleep quite a bit. Also would have preferred two pillows

Spacious, clean, and modern. The location was convenient, with a well-connected metro station nearby. The room had ample space for luggage and moving around. The staff was friendly and assisted us in arranging the shipment of our luggage back to Tokyo. Towels and other amenities were available at reception, as well as a laundry room.

Cleaning service is only available for stays longer than four (or possibly five) nights.

The place was comfortable and clean and reasonably enough priced!

There was no airflow in room upon arrival and felt quite stagnant. I have issues with allergies and need airflow. I totally understand wanting to conserve energy and it might be difficult to do so due to the demands of staffing and time available but I would recommend trying to turn on the mini-split system prior to someones arrival.

Very modern and clean, small boutique hotel feel but the room was quite big for Japan. Coin laundry and amenities offered.

Location is good although you need to walk half an hour or use public transportation to any of the more lively / touristy areas. The light in the room due to windows may be strong for some sensitive people but they offer eye covers. It didn’t bother me personally.

It was near the underground station, in a central location. Kyoto is big, so I still needed to take the bus or tube to move around. The room was comfortable, with a window but without a view. They had laundry available to use by guests on the ground floor. It works with coins, so that was very convenient.

It's just a hotel with room. No restaurant or cafe on site.

The location is very close to Gojo subway station and bus stops, you can easily access to the city center. The room is very clean, they provide you clean towels, tooth brush etc. The personnel is very kind. The room size is enough for multiple guests. There are washing and drying machines in the lobby. I strongly suggest this hotel in Kyoto.

Everything was great, but the drying machines are not working properly. I dried my clothes twice, but they were still wet.

The beds are so comfortable, quiet yet central location, close to all major sights, very close to the tube station, staff were great and helpful, the size of the room was excellent and well equipped.

There is no cleaning during your stay so if you want bins changed you have to ask.

Clean and spacious room compared to the standard size in Japan. Staff was very helpful and kind. Amenities and towels available at the lobby, all the time.

Is not just in this hotel but in all the ones we have stayed in Japan, they don’t provide a sheet, and the covering blanket is too warm. It would be convenient if they could place a microwave in every floor and not just one in reception.

Hotel is very close to Karasuma Line, it is 10 mins walk from Nishki food market and many of the other points of interest. Hotel has its own smoking room, laundry machines etc. Amenities were more than enough. There are a lot of 7 elevens etc. in close proximity. We would love to stay here next time we visit Kyoto. Absolutely recommending it to everyone.
