It was rignt next to the Matsuyama JR station. As in, step out the entrance, look left and there it is. Staff were incredibly friendly though not all of them spoke English. They were still very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast buffet was varied and filling, great value for the price (a little under 1100 yen). Tram is also right next to the hotel so if you need access to/from Matsuyama City station it’s 230 yen and about 10 minutes away. You could also walk but that takes about half an hour. They also looked aftee my luggage as I arrived several hours before check-in and wanted to go sightseeing.

I wasn’t able to turn off the main light without cutting thr power to the air con (it’s controlled by having your key in the wall, so you also can’t leave things on while out of the room). It wasn’t a cold night so I just cut the power to get to sleep.

All staff were really courteous from the front desk to the staff who cleaned the rooms.the facilities were as described,and from the hotel it was easy to get around right facing the tram stop,so easy to get to dogo onsen and other sights..I love onsen and there is one right across the road in the complex facing.also it's a great location from the train station so you're soon there after travelling,no messing about finding where your hotel is..

Great location and price, conveniently close to the JR station, perfect after an exhausting day. Room was comfortable and clean, especially for the price. Staff spoke minimum English, but was very helpful. You can buy a discounted ticket to the nearby onsen (550y). Staff allowed me to store luggage for the afternoon after check out. Also the only hotel I've ever been to that had a complimentary hard hat, which was considerate I guess

Wifi is a little spotty.

We were doing the Shikoku pilgrimage. The hotel was at a location which was close to the public transportation to Kuma Kogen, our next hop. The room size was above average. It was clean.

This is not the hotel's fault, but we were not able to book a non-smoking room at the time. The smoking room that we got smelled really strong and we were not able to open the windows to let the air in. The bathroom was a little tight, but not too bad.

Amazing staff and the room had everything I could possibly want plus things I didn’t even need like a shoe horn, torch and crash helmet! They even gave me a translation of the air conditioning control. Breakfast was also wonderful)Japanese) with a huge variety and the location is perfect right next to the JR station and the tram lines yet not noisy at all

Location was excellent. Right next to train station and plenty of food options available around the area. Breakfast had a really good spread of food and was great value for money at 950 yen if you reserve the day before. Room was also very spacious. Staff was friendly and offered assistance when needed.

The only thing that was disappointing is, i wanted the hotel to hold my suitcase for 5 days, as I had another reservation for when we return to matsuyama. But they said they would not. I found a solution with a coin locker at the station, but it cost 3000yen.otherwise the stay was fine.

- Convenient, right next to Matsuyama train station, walking distance to Matsuyama Castle, easily access Dogo Onsen Hot-spring by tram - Many restaurants nearby. The Indian restaurant across the street was delicious. Convenience store located next to the hotel. - The switch to turn off the main room light is not on the wall or near the bed. It’s controlled by a remote control.

Close to tram station so can hear the tram and car sounds

Very easy to get to with a JR train station and a tram station adjacent. There was an excellent spa and sauna place over the road.

There was a lingering slight tobacco smell but I knew I was in a room that allowed smoking so I shouldn't really complain.

Good location, good shower water pressure and clean bathroom. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room temperature was easily to control and it was well ventilated.

The bed was an older spring mattress that was a little uncomfortable and the pillow was a hybrid bean bag type.
