The staff were amazing. They were the most attentive and friendly of anywhere we have stayed. From booking restaurants to cleaning skis and retrieving laundry from the washing machine. Loved having a wine sitting by the fireplace and kids toasting marshmallows. Beds and pillows were great, spa bath and shower were excellent, very spacious rooms. Breakfast was great, particularly the eggs.

Rooms were a little bit tired and could do with a refresh, hotel restaurant was a set menu for evening meals and very expensive per person, requiring 1-2 days prior reservation. Location was a just out of the main hub but the hotel drivers could drop you to restaurants etc so wasn’t a problem for us. Only one washing machine, however it was complimentary.

I travelled with family and had a wonderful stay at Hotel La Neige. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, promptly addressing all my requests. Since I didn’t rent a car this time, I was initially concerned about transportation. However, the hotel made it effortless by arranging taxis for me whenever needed. If taxis were unavailable, they provided alternative transportation, ensuring their guests were never left unattended. They also offered a complimentary shuttle service to destinations within the HHG group. The hotel’s location is great, about 5-minute walk to Sakkai in ski boots. Breakfast was great, the buffet wasn’t overwhelming with too many options, but every item was of great quality. The hotel also provided complimentary drinks, juices, and cookies in the main lobby. This was a lifesaver for me since I was traveling with a 3-year-old. I didn’t have to think about where to get snacks for him after a long day of skiing. There was a minor issue with our bathtub drainage, but the hotel quickly came up with a solution, so I won’t complain about this small hiccup during our stay. Overall, the experience was great, and my family had a wonderful time at Hotel La Neige. I was recommended this place by a friend and would gladly recommend it to others. We will definitely return to Hotel La Neige for our next snow season.

Our stay at Hotel La Neige was perfect ! The staff are wonderful and most helpful. The shuttles operated by the team to and from the ski fields as well as to other HHG owned establishments especially assisted my partner and I with our stay as we were first time snowboarders. Furthermore, my partner and I forgot to book restaurants in advance so the team at the hotel helped us to organise dinner bookings for the rest of our stay. The team would also load and unload our ski gear each day and ensure our gear was ready to go the next morning. We cannot recommend Hotel La Neige more.

Covered in snow it looked like a picture-book Swiss Chalet. The reception hall was very welcoming with high ceilings, a roaring fire and comfortable sofas and chairs. The breakfast/restaurant was similarly attractive. The staff were exceptionally helpful, taking us to and fro the ski hire, storing, drying and retrieving our ski gear and ferrying us to the nearby slopes/buses.

The breakfast buffet was relatively limited in scope. In our room the bath/spa room was a little cold, probably because of the large windows.

From the moment we were picked up to the moment we got the bus back the hotel service was exceptional. We took the breakfast and dinner option and every day was the most comfortable experience. We were in Hakuba for skiing. There was a rental place a 5 min walk away which we were able to charge to our room (at the end of the trip they returned the gear for us) and every day when we went to ski they prepared our gear by the door for us on the way out and took us with our gear to Happo. At the end of the day they came to get us after a quick call and upon our arrival our shoes were waiting at the door for us to change into. The staff went over and above to help us with whatever we needed. Although it wasn't our first trip to Hakuba and we pretty much only went there for skiing this time, they gave us guides on what we could do in the area. They were kind and understanding, and especially sweet to our 4 y/o daughter. The included food was really good, including the kids options, and I was pleasantly surprised every evening. The room had this cozy random vibe to it with interesting furnishings and also an amazing jacuzzi in it with a view of the snow falling onto the trees outside I would highly recommend staying here - we had an amazing time.

This property was exceptional from start to finish. The hotel had the most beautiful decor throughout. Built 33 years ago for the Nagano Olympics. The hotel setting is in the middle of a beautiful forest, and has views from every window. On arrival we were met by staff and seated in the comfortable lounge room to check in with a try of tea and biscuits. On departure we were farewelled by the owner and staff. The dining room was again an amazing experience, and recommend that you take up the breakfast option when booking. Also enjoy the breakfast during summer outside in the patio. The care and attention by staff is gracious, courteous, friendly and efficient.

There is nothing we didn’t like about this hotel.

This was a lovely traditional hotel, well located for skiing. We were transferred and collected to the slopes every day which were only about 10 mins away. The staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for us. They would have our ski boots ready for us when we left the hotel and would book our taxis and recommend restaurants for the evening meals. The room was spacious with a living room as well as a bedroom. We had a nice view of snowy trees.

The buffet breakfast was not very satisfactory although you could order a cooked breakfast FOC.

Beautiful hotel decorated in French style with great customer service. We were driven to and from the Gondola at Happo One every day and our skis and boots were always waiting for us. The staff were friendly and helpful and good restaurants were within walking distance. The breakfast was filling with a good range of options and our suite had a large spa bath that was great to enjoy every afternoon after skiing.

We couldn’t get dinner the first night at the hotel when we arrived exhausted, however the staff helped us get takeaway.

Breakfast was good but can have more vegetarian options especially vegetables. The location of the hotel is fantastic and the staff is also friendly with good response time. The French chef is outstanding and cooked up a delicious 5 course meal for us catering to our likes and dislikes.

The shuttle wait time for pick up at the slopes can be managed a bit better . Also more English speaking staff would be helpful.

The best service ever in Hakuba. The hotel shuttles all include service, such like deliver to the slope or rent and return the ski elements. That made everything easier for ski. All the staff, with strong service mind, made us warm at heart. The room was clean and comfort. They provide unlimited quality bathroom skit, hanger with small heater, plus CD player. We appreciate everyone, especially Miss Aya and the drivers who always there for us when we need some help. Everything is good and perfect. We love this place. Thank you again.
