Hotel is interesting. Staff were very helpful and smiley. Amenities were good. Good Coffee. Available at the reception lounge. Lounge was good to work and relax with good open view.

Room is a little tight for your luggages..We managed just with a middle case, a carry on case and two backpacks. Tip. On arrival with luggages it is better to walk to hotel via street. Not advisable to use the walkway and exit U6&U8 via the huge Unimall connected to Nagoya JR station. No lifts on U6/U8 exits. Only alot of stairs.

This Hotel was a short walk from Nagoya Station and was very convenient. The decor of the hotel was very cool.. Urban chic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was free coffee in the lobby.

The hotel did not offer breakfast, but there were many restaurants nearby. The original room we book was extremely SMALL. ( and there was really no window!) We could not navigate it with our large bags, but, Luckily, they had a slightly larger room available and we were able to switch to it. It was much more comfortable. The staff were very helpful.

Great location. Right near the station and bars and restaurants. It is beautifully executed, educational, and intriguing. Modern, alluring decor, wonderful staff. I loved the pj's! You could literally wish for nothing. There was free coffee on tap in the foyer, along with any toiletries for your stay. Loved the onsen too. I am a massive bath fan. I do all my emails from the bath, where I go to think and wash off the stink. I will definitely stay here again, thank you so much for making our stay so pleasant.

The room was a bit small but other than that I have no other complaints.

Highly recommend this hotel exceptional facilities and very accessible to train station, bus and walkable to malls and famous restaurants. Family mart is just beside the hotel. Ichiran famous ramen noodles are just beside the bldg. Train station just within the front area of the hotel. And if you booked a tour to Shirakawago meet up place is just 11minutes walk from the Hotel. My Family love the convenience we will definitely come back again, thank you so much Hotel Resol.

Small room and no extra beds

This hotel really surprised me. I booked it as a budget option and turned out to be better than I expected. They definitely deserve an additional star on booking. The lobby is great, the room is small, but clean and well equipped. The staff is lovely and its such a short walk to the main train station. The breakfast was the best part. The hotel has deal with a restaurant in the same building - its this delicious, Japanese breakfast. I stayed at mostly 4-5 star hotels throughout my 3 week trip - this was hands down the best breakfast I had during my trip!

The hotel met our needs to explore Nagoya. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The twin room was clean and had all the basics. The hotel was located above the Unimall which was an extension of the underground shopping and restaurants connect to Nagoya Station. It was a 15 min walk to Nagoya station., no problem with luggage. We added the breakfast which was a set Japanese meal with a stir fry of meat and cabbage, rice, soup, salad and small vegetable dishes opposed to the usual breakfast buffet.

Location is excellent! Many restaurants near the hotel and just next to entrance to underground shopping center, but access by staircase only. Coffee machine in the lobby is good. The lobby is spacious.

For those who visit Nagoya the first time, it is very difficult to identify the route from JR station to the hotel, particularly with luggage, as there are not many escalators or lifts in the JR and Meitetsu station. If hotel can provide a route from JR station, it would be very good! The room is so small that it is very difficult to manage two suite cases.

Just would be great if bathroom would be renovated too, my personal opinion it does not match Resol cozy design and the smell is a bit ‚old‘ in there - but still fine. Comparing to other 2 Resol hotels (Tokyo and Kyoto) this would be on the last place. The policy about plastic key lose is a bit ridiculous - 1500 YEN for lost key is way too much, isn‘t it? We forgot one in the room and been offered to go back to the room to bring it or pay the fee. As a guest I felt not nice being forced to go back to the room.

Location was good, easy access to Nagoya Station. We walked to Dolphin Arena for Sumo. Staff was helpful, room was clean, and great nightwear.

I think room could have been arranged more efficiently. I stayed in a smaller room in another city, and had enough room to open a large suitcase, which was very hard to do in this room. One morning we thought we would try breakfast downstairs. Went downstairs, and entrance from hotel was locked. Went outside, and entered from street entrance, but didn't seem like anyone was working, even though it was still within breakfast hours. Ended up going to Family Mart.

short walkable distance to nagoya station, well stocked amenities in room and freely available extras like bath salts and fresh coffee provided at the lounge. free to browse books at lounge too were a welcome sight. room and bathroom were very clean, nice and comfortable, even sleepwear provided! staff kindly provided luggage storage for a whole day after we checked out in the morning and returned in the evening. note to travellers with large luggages, recommend to use main train exit and road crossings to reach hotel, the underground pass exit closer to the hotel only has stairs.
