The hotel itself is nice and everything very clean. Located just beside the JR Nara station, the location is convenient. We enjoyed our two night stay.

The bed and blanket are very comfortable, with the exception of the pillows which are not only bad but terrible. It's the only detail that I have to complain about. Other than this, it was a very nice room. I requested if we could have a late check-out, only 20 minutes after the normal time, and my request was promptly denied. I found this to be absurd considering during our stay I only saw maybe six other guests at this 11-floor hotel. Obviously they were not urgently needing the room as the hotel was empty. I dislike when hotel staff are robotic in this way, without any flexibility. As someone who works in the hospitality business myself, I see no good reason for this. Terrible customer service.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel which was close to the train station and in a great location for access to transport services. Our room was lovely and we had everything we needed. The staff on reception were welcoming and polite at all times.

There wasn't anything in particular that we did not like. My one comment relates to the breakfast. With regards to this and as more and more overseas visitors are travelling to Japan, it would be good if the hotel could consider expanding the variety of breakfast options. Eating the local food for breakfast can at times, feel quite challenging.

The ambiance and the cleaning staff are polite. The room is clean and the amenities are great. The shower is fantastic they have the most modern shower room, it was great shower experience for us especially the kids.I recommend the Japanese style rooms.

This is our second stay in this hotel, I was just confused why they asked for our passports or Identity card had it copied when the first time we stayed they didn't asked for it. For the record, we are long resident here in Japan so why? They didn't explain that it's a policy or what, I kinda get offended with that. I wish they have a place where the visitors can use the microwave oven for heating their bring in foods, it's a waste of time to go down at the convenient store to warm our food there.

The bed was so comfy, clean, and had the extra pillows I requested and I enjoyed relaxing and watching a little TV, but mostly relaxed happily and read my book. The bathroom was AMAZING. I enjoyed the beautiful shower room. The staff was kind. I was intrigued by the little robot cleaning the carpets in the walkways. That was cool. It's the little things.

I never got to enjoy the restaurant because they were closed the days I stayed there--so I had to eat Lawson for breakfast which is always okay, but I wanted a nice experience all around. There is no room service, but there is a convenience store and a fridge was in the room. So nothing really to complain about.

Piazza Hotel Nara is probably one of the most impeccable hotels that's situated right at JR Nara station. It is a convenient starting point for exploring the shopping streets which lead up to Nara Park. The hotel has comprehensive facilities and amenities available to guests, including lovely buffet menus, and room was spacious and comfortable. Staff was earnest in understanding and communicating in English with English-speaking guests and provided excellent service. Definitely my top choice of accommodation in Nara.

Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly and efficient. The room was great and the level of cleanliness was excellent.

Only one issue ...on our second morning, we went for breakfast and were literally herded to the back of the restaurant where a group of Australian tourists were also being seated. We wanted to sit at a table for two by the window as we had done the previous morning but were refused! Absolutely shocked by this attitude so wanted to eat and leave asap. Very very disappointing in an otherwise great hotel. Staff training required for this young man.

The bathroom has the best in design and functionality. It is a new and modern design based on Japanese style where the toilet, sink and bathtub are separated. The building is smoke free and the air ventilation system is excellent. The beds are very comfortable and I fall asleep easily. The location is great! 3 mins walk to Nara station and many restaurants and supermarkets nearby.

I am not aware if there is a swimming pool.

The location was perfect next to Nara station. Walking distance to Nara park. Bus stop with all buses stopping at Nara station. Lots of restaurants near buy. Big super market to take food with you to Nara park for a picnic. Washing machine on the second floor.

The hotel is for business people not people on holiday with big bags. A very curious arrangement of the bathroom with windows directly in the bathroom and not bedroom. So no natural light in the room.

Had a corner suite on top floor. This room was huge including an amazing bathroom w/tub as well as large rainfall shower. Very clean. Being next to the train station was convenient, only 20 minute walk to Nara Park and a Lawson's on the ground floor. I didn't use any of their facilities or eat on site but really enjoyed the room and would seek it out if I were ever in the area again.

Spotless and posh, right next to Nara’s main train station (we accidentally took a train to the other station, but it wasn’t a big deal). It’s also near convenience stores and Nara’s main shopping street with lots of shops and restaurants. The room was a little small but an exceptional value. You can walk to Nara Park in about a half-hour or take a clearly marked bus from right outside. It was also easy to walk or bus to the charming Naramachi neighborhood.
