The location is super! Really close to the Shin Osaka Station and there is a 7-11 right next to the hotel for midnight snacks!! Staff were also great- there was a male receptionist who spoke super English and was really helpful. There was also a big bear and some decorations for photo taking in the lobby. The room design was also nice with a colour palette that reminds one of tender sunsets and calm sunrises. Loved the small corner sofa I had in my room. The hotel had all you needed.

The name is easily confused with another nearby hotel. Future guests remember not to rely on Google Maps to look for the CENTRAL EXIT and that is where you wanna go. The staff at the other hotel under the same via inn brand were super well prepared and gave us a map with coloured printing so that we were able to find the right hotel. Just bear in mind Shomenguchi = Front/Central (Shomen) - Mouth/Exit (Guchi) = Voilà Central Exit

The location was superb - literally 5 minutes away from Shin-Osaka Station and even only 1 minute away from the local subway. We had a Seven Eleven Convenience store at ground level in the Hotel building. The staff was very nice and helpful and also managed to send our luggage from Osaka to Tokyo via Yamato Takkyubin for only 40€ in total. The hotel lobby was also very clean, entering your room floor was only possible with the hotel key card, so no unauthorized persons could enter anywhere. The rooms were standard Japanese sized, but exceptionally clean! Every necessity was provided and the interior was very modern.

Our rooms were located facing a busy street, so late night noise was inevitable sometimes. As many comments already mentioned "motorcycle gangs" - we can just confirm that from time to time there were very loud motorcycle sounds late at night. The trains weren't running at night, so we only heard them occasionally during operation times.

The hotel is just a few meters away from Shin-Osaka Station, which is very convenient for travelers who prefer to take the train rather than taxis. The hotel staff are very accommodating and communicate well. The best part is there's a 7/11 attached to the hotel at the ground floor.

The bathroom is compact but completely understandable since it's a standard Japanese bathroom. Taller guests might have a hard time taking a shower. But aside from that, all amenities are complete and the overall stay was comfortable.

Near to Shin-Osaka train station. However, there are 2 Via Inn hotels. One is near the East exit. This VIA INN Shin-Osaka Shomenguchi is near to the central exit. You have to take escalator or lift down to the ground floor then you look for Starbucks. From there, take escalator down and then turn right. Walk to the end of the building then turn left and then walk about 1 minutes, you will see 7 eleven and the hotel is just next to it. Please take note that no bottles water is provided for all Via Inn hotels.

None, except I hope staff could speak English and inform me that there are two different Via Inn hotels near the Shin-Osaka station so that I would not have gone to the wrong hotel in the first place.

1) I love how they have an external HDMI port for their TV. That's a feature I've been wishing for during my past 15-year travels. 2) I love that they have an 7-11 at 1F of the hotel. 3) They collaborate with a Cafe at Shin-Osaka station for breakfast. It's nice. 4) The room is clean. Service is nice.

It's a bit too close to Shin-Osaka station in terms of noise. But proximity was also the reason I chose it.

This hotel probably belongs to the JR (Japan Railways) group and it's no wonder it's so close (a few minutes walk, just find Central Exit Gate, and then walks to the right direction, you’ll find small tunnel just before the hotel location) from Shin Osaka station, the lobby is on the 2nd floor where the 1st floor is a seven eleven convenience store. The room was clean, compact in size but difficult to position two large suitcases. I'd say it's perfect for domestic travelers transiting between cities with one small suitcase, only staying one night to catch the next morning's train.

Being a transit hotel, the front desk gave us breakfast vouchers to redeem at two cafes/restaurants inside shin osaka station, which isn't conducive if you're not familiar with the station (compared to other stations in Tokyo, this one is quite confusing, we even got lost a few times, poor us), or if you’re in hurry to catch a train. There is a restaurant on the 2nd floor of the hotel, in front of the reception, but unfortunately it might only for decorative purposes, which is kinda funny though.

Good location in front of Shin Osaka Station, especially useful if you need to catch an early train to other parts of Japan. Quiet neighbourhood with some food options nearby. Affordable and decent room size for Osaka standards. Basic amenities available in room.

The location of the hotel is not near any shopping mall or attraction, you need to take a train to get to other areas. The surrounding area is very quiet, which is good but some people may find it to be boring at night.

Proximity to station, convenience of Seven Eleven downstairs and Family Mart across the road, helpful staff, the room had good soundproofing so it was not too noisy despite being in busy location

The outside of the bathroom door had brown stains that I had to wipe off with an antibacterial wipe. Apart from this, the rest of the room was adequately clean.

Close to shin-osaka station for the subway and the shinkansen! Staff super friendly and room really clean. Bathroom a little small but to be expected and good condition. Can hear the train at night but it stops before midnight so nothing bad

The area itself wasn’t very lively. This was fine for us as we needed more early nights due to our itinerary but if you’re hoping for a busy evening then it is only a short train away!

Hotel location makes it very convenient to get on the metro and JR trains! We were on the red line within five minutes when we used the metro stop just outside the hotel front door!

We added the morning breakfast to our hotel stay and one of the restaurants in the shin-Osaka train station only offered one breakfast option. This got boring after a few days (and we stayed with you for 11 days). We had thought your hotel was going to have an asian breakfast option.
