Great location just 3 minutes to ski lift. Great room design (deluxe quadruple room). Fantastic onsen with all the ammenities. Price for our stay was reasonable. Brand new hotel so everything looked clean, neat and tidy.

The buffet dinner in the restaurant was extremely expensive at aud$85 per person. I never saw anyone actually in there. An a la carte menu with reasonable prices would have been great. Not the hotel but their are very limited dining options within walking distance of the hotel. We often went to the local Lawson convenience store to stock up on things for breakfast and dinner.

Breakfast was great, a reasonable selection of Japanese and Western choices. Spa was not really an onsen, but provided a good relaxing wind down after a day of skiing. Close to slopes Room was nice and comfy

Staff could have been better trained. Two examples I could provide are: I called to reception to ask if universal plug was available to borrow, and the staff replied not available. (I didn't realize they had one near the TV at the time, nor did the guy at reception let me know. Addtionally, he didn't know that they actually sell adaptors at the hotel shop right next to reception), clearly he wasn't familiar with the hotel's amenities. We inquired about bus times during winter, staff simply suggested they rarely come or never come, better off taking a taxi. However, I managed to find a bus timetable available on Furano tourism site and also free shuttle buses run by Prince Hotel. This type of local information would have been very helpful.

A new well designed hotel. Very friendly staff. The lobby bar and fire setting. Also the onsen was an unexpected bonus.

More boot driers. The food was good but the menu was limited.

Wonderful brand-new hotel almost directly across from the Kitanomine base station, with clean, functional rooms, a nice bar, excellent breakfast buffet, and friendly and competent staff. Well-appointed gym and a luxurious spa with a sauna (actually two separate spas, one for women and one for men). I would definitely come here again!

The hotel restaurant apparently only offers a set menu of Western food, which is a missed opportunity. Most tourists come to Japan to eat Japanese food, and there aren't that many options around the Kitanomine area. Even 'downtown' Furano only has a handful of restaurants with inconvenient opening hours, and they all require a long walk or taking one of the occasional buses. Nonetheless we decided not to eat at the restaurant and go elsewhere.

I was travelling in Hokkaido with a large family and while our parents could get a bit chaotic at times the staff were still very pleasant to us. The hotel has a very calm vibe and the facilities feel very new and well maintained. The hotel breakfast can be very filling! Overall a very relaxing stay in Nozo hotel.

Not a bad point - I relied a lot on Google Maps while I was driving and I noticed that the location may not be entirely accurate; Google told me to turn left a little too early so if you drive straight slowly you'll actually find the hotel on your left. It's quite obvious when you locate the hotel!

This is a new hotel and coincidentally, we checked in on their opening night! The facilities are great (water stations in every floor, ski lockers, laundry machines, excellent onsen with both indoor & outdoor baths & a sauna, gym) and room cozy. Best of all are the very friendly & helpful staff who went out of their way to assist in recommending restaurants, helping to book etc. It’s very near the ski gondola and so is great base for skiing. Most of the restaurants though are in town (10 mins drive away) and the selection within walking distance is very limited, so you’ll need to either drive or take taxi to the restaurants.

The breakfast buffet selection is adequate but limited. However I also appreciate the fact that I stayed just when they officially opened and understandably, the number of guests are limited and it would have been a waste of food to cater a more extensive menu. I wish there can be more variety from day to day, eg: offer half boiled eggs instead of hard boiled, or tamago etc.

The location of this hotel was great, close to restaurants in a quiet area. This hotel is very new so everything was clean and modern and smelled new and fresh. The breakfast was great with a lot of options, even Hokkaido ice cream if you want it. Although the hotel parking lot was small and was often full, there is another gravel lot just adjacent to the hotel that was always available so we had no problems parking.

The room we had was a little small but not claustrophobic because of the decor being new and fresh. The window shades surprisingly did let in a lot of morning light, which can be a problem since the sun comes up at around 4:30am in the summer.

The Onsen is absolutely amazing and it was the best way to unwind after a day snowboarding. There’s a nice bar downstairs, a shop and a bakery. The ski resort is less than 100m from Nozo up the hill, a 20 minute walk to town and there are several restaurants located within walking distance. Breakfast buffet was great for around $35 AUD, plenty of choices available. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly, considering they haven’t been open for long their services are hard to fault. Overall it’s a fantastic hotel in a prime location for those looking to board and ski.

The rooms are quite small but to be expected.

Very clean and modern, still with a Japanese flavour that hasn’t been lost to Western tourism.

Modern, well maintained, good food, bar, brekkie, loved the Onsen with cold-plunge, sauna & indoor/outdoor hot-tub. The 1st room we had (Cnr front) was spacious by Japanese room size. It had a great lounge & table. The second room (Mtn. rear) we had was more a standard Japanese room size. The beds & ensuites were excellent in both. We hired a car so onsite car parking was handy.

Fantastic newly refurbished hotel just steps away from the Kitanomine Gondola and ski rental places. The rooms were lovely and the spa/onsen was amazing. Just what you need after a day on the slopes! There is an inside and outside spa and you can soak in the water and get snowflakes on your face! There were lovely english speaking girls on the reception and they were very helpful - organising taxis was not a problem. The fit out is very classy and high quality throughout. The rooms were nicely serviced each day.

The prices in the lounge seemed a bit steep for coffee (from a machine which was not nice) and tea. The menu options were limited and again a bit pricey compared to the other options around. The Cafe was great but didn't open till 10 and we wanted to be on the slopes by then.
