The location is good. Two stops away from Akihabara and a walkable distance from the train station and the metro. The public bath is great, especially with the pools with massaging water jets. This hotel also has elevated beds under which you can store your luggage - a real great feature in Tokyo hotels that lack any kind of space generally. Lawson on the 2nd floor of the hotel itself is a great thing as well
The elevators are really awful in this hotel. During "rush hours" when the majority of the visitors check in or check out - it's almost impossible to get to your floor or to the ground floor in less than 10 minutes. For many staff members English could be improved.

Location (near two subway/train lines), value for money, cleanliness, ease of check-in/out, breakfast selection was amazing, there is an onsen/spa (must cover your tattoos), there were very reasonable laundry machines, comfy beds, everything is there in the room on a smaller scale, they had interesting "tutorials" on appropriate cultural behaviour and how to use the hotel facilities (very helpful), also a 24 hour convenience store (Lawsons) was brilliant (I forgot some socks, and all their snacks were so inexpensive!), fast wifi speeds (no issues), staff were soooo friendly!
pool was not open (it was HOT in June 2024); there are only 6 elevators, 3 for upper floors and 3 for lower floors, they would get very busy at "rush hour" (but they did have signs cautioning the guest about it); being an eco friendly hotel they sure did have a lot of packing (everything is wrapped in a single portion), and people at breakfast were using non-reusable coffee cups (make the to-go or take-away cups as item that has to be specififclaly ASKED for, not readily available or in front of the coffee machine).

- Check in was automated, but staff were on hand to help. - Staff were great, every member I dealt with were friendly and helpful - 2F Lawsons can make life easier - Gym was alright in a pinch downstairs - Location was great as I was here to see the Hatsu Basho next door - Room was clean and quiet, my window has a nice high view of Sumida
- As people have mentioned, the lifts/elevators are some of the worst I have ever experienced. I simply do not understand how they are meant to operate... get used to seeing several go past your floor in the direction you wanted to head in. I would love it if someone, anyone could explain why it is like this. I have never had to wait a literal 20 minutes for a lift in a hotel before. - The hotel is a strange vibe, a high rise where almost every floor is filled, and i mean FILLED with rooms. It is how I imagine a high tech prison in the future.

Lovely modern hotel, we loved the view of Tokyo and the river from our room it was absolutely stunning! Close to the train station only a few minutes walk and not far from Asakusa. Great buffet breakfast. To start our day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend and would book again.
Check in took longer than expected with their self check in would have been much easier and quicker if done by the guest services agent which she had to guide us through how to do it anyway. I only wish Japan had earlier check in times when you arrive early in the morning 5-am from a 10hr flight all you want to do is checkin to your room shower freshen up and have a nap to recover from the flight. We had to pay extra fees to check in earlier than the 3pm check in time.

Location is very good! You have access to two nearby lines, JR chuo-sobu, and the Oedo subway. JR chuo-sobu easily connects to Akihabara and Shinjuku . For the hotel itself the spa was good and spacious. During the stay, even at 6am there were already a few people (5++) in the spa. There is also a Lawson's convenient store with a good selection food and snacks, and also hot snacks (friend chicken) located inside the hotel on level 2.
Although this hotel is good, the rooms are very small and barely have any space to open your luggage on the floor. View was not worth it. Stayed on the 22th floor and it was not very nice.

Quiet location within Tokyo. A good vantage point to travel from as the train/metro stations are closeby and take less than 5 minutes to get to. Hotel room, while small (as is expected in Tokyo), had everything you need and the bed was comfortable enough.
It is located in a quieter ward in Tokyo which means there isn't a lot to do at night. Perfect if you use it to stay and sleep but if you want to be in the action until the early hours of the morning you want to look at a hotel in another ward.

It is a very huge building that you can see from the station. There are laundromat, onsen, gym, cafe, restaurant, convenience store in the building. The room is cozy and the TV in the room can mirror with your phone and tablet. The hotel is close to Ryogoku station where you can easy access to restaurants, convenience stores, and some coffee shops. Quite quiet area which I like compared to Kinshicho where is much more crowded.
The elevator is very slow especially in the morning. I waited for more than 10 mins so I decided to take the emergency stairs almost every day.

Clean, convenient with Lawsons and Onsen onsite. Had everything you need.
The heat !! Woke up the first and second night short of breath and sweating despite turning off heater - literally no air in the room so had to open the door for 5 mins! Had mild hypoxic symptoms incl headache - as did the two other rooms of people in my group. It was suddenly corrected by maintenance on the 3rd night. The elevator situation was very bad too - 20mins each morning on average to get down from 24th floor!

A very nice onsen with long opening times. rooms are very clean and not too small (it is Tokyo) Available parking garage. lift situation better than expected. laundry available
self check in. a lot of typing in after a long journey is nerve wrecking. I do not want to do the job of a receptionist. information stand about Sumida is unattended. air conditioning is not individually adjustable, too warm at night.

It's a beautiful hotel. The room was small, but had two good, big, separate beds, a nice bathroom and a tv with screen mirroring options. The view was nice as well and we weren't really missing anything. There's a small Lawson konbini within the hotel, on the 2nd floor, that's open late, which is awesome. There's a smoking room on the same floor as well, where random hotel guests were often having conversations with each other, which was nice. There's a sento bathhouse area on the B1 floor as well, which is always great to have. The hotel is big and has many guests, so there's always going to be other people, but it's okay, because of how big it is. It's also open until late at night, so you can go there after midnight as well. If you have tattoos like me, you can ask the hotel staff for two, free tattoo cover seals each day, which was enough to cover my two medium size tattoos (if you have more, you can buy similar covers from stores like Donki Hote), but guests with full sleeves/body tattoos might be out of luck. The area itself doesn't have too much going for it, but it is nice and quiet. It's close, and a comfortable walk, to JR Ryogoku station, which is a fine station to get to the other parts of Tokyo. You can take the Chuo-Sobu line directly to places like Akihabara and Shinjuku. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider picking APA hotel in the future as well.
The only thing that bothered me were the hotel elevators. Our room was a high floor one with a city view. There are six elevators total, but three of them are for lower floors only and the other three go up to higher floors as well. With so many guests and floors, it might take some time for one to show up. Sometimes even up to 3 minutes of waiting for one to arrive to our floor, which is inconvenient for people leaving and returning to their rooms often.
