Efficient and well-trained staff. The ¥250 breakfast worth ¥1000. Overall food quality. Mini bar (cans only) with hardly any markup. Free wine, coffee, tea & other drink bars, individually wrapped bread & deli quality salads & sweets in sample-size containers in the lobby that can be enjoyed even after checkout! Free “amenity bar” with some 30 toiletry, bath, skin- & haircare items (on top of what’s already in the room). Dedicated slippers for public spaces (no need to tie laces to go dow to lobby). Massage chairs in guest rooms & lobby (counted about 8-10). Dedicated outdoor bath on patio (on top of the huge bubble bath in the bathroom). Auto light-on, lid-up & pre-wash toilet. Free VOD (including adult content). Free bedside condoms in a discreet box. Nice ethnic theme throughout hotel.
Smoking is allowed in every room. There is an air-purifier but doesn’t completely remove the smell. Everything displayed on the huge wall-mount monitor is in Japanese, including food ordering pages (there’s in-room dining only), although they have pictures. Two lamps on the headboard could not be turned on. Charging cables tucked under a cover in the headboard did not work. TV remote did not work from bed, would work only from about 4-5 feet (presumably because of the raised edge of the shelf underneath the monitor blocking the beam).

Both strange and wonderful. I couldn't really fault this place, and there are many things but made it stand out. I loved the big jacuzzi bath and the massage chair in the room, the absolutely enormous television screen. The free hot dogs and coffee at breakfast we're a bit strange as a concept but actually really nice. Also there were a huge amount of complementary health and beauty treatments shampoos and all sorts of amenities at the reception. To be honest I couldn't really understand why, but I did not disapprove.
Like his common in Japan, some of the rooms are smoking rooms. There isn't a great deal of isolation between the rooms and walking through the corridor you could always smell cigarette smoke. As far as the location, it's in an area which feels a bit like a red light district. Lots of funny looks at me and my girlfriend from the many strange foreign man who seem to hang around in the street all night long. I assumed these people were looking for customers interested in red light district style activity. We did worry a little bit about safety, the generally that one aspect made the area feel a little down market.

The lobby smelled AMAZING. Lots of free little snacks and beauty products. Free massage chairs. Also had a massage chair in our room, which was amazing. Loved the couple's bath tub and the living room with the absolutely gigantic TV. The alcohol on tap was also a nice touch!
I wish I knew ahead of time that guests weren't allowed up to the room. We ended up hanging out in the lobby instead. I get it, I realized I booked the room with free alcohol on tap so they probably didn't want non-guests drinking it. Just wish I knew ahead of time, that's all!

Its basically a love hotel, which we didn't know & didn't care. There was a spa & sauna in our room. Very spacious. It alittle out of town but & great location close to the JR & subway. Lots of bars & clubs if that's your thing & a great way to explore & see another side to Tokyo
Getting there the first time might become a nightmare if you are catching the train, we caught a cab for the first time there & never use another once we realised where we were.

ok - so this is a love hotel. let me explain what this is to you as we thought it was just part of the branding. love hotels are effectively hotels you book predominantly to be intimate in. there are lovely 4 poster beds, big jacuzzis and saunas in each room. many locals book these rooms out for an evening (“a rest”) perhaps as they live with their parents / are having an affair (which is generally widely accepted in Japanese society). therefore people may seem a little nervous as they are checking in. we didn’t know all this. this is why they looked at us strange when we booked in for a week (sightseeing holiday in Tokyo). there are also (free) adult channels on tv and you can order things like flower petals for the jacuzzi bath etc. regardless, this hotel is perfectly located and beautifully presented, you will need to ask them to clean the room if you are staying a while. I think this is because it is super private and they asked if they had permission to enter the room to clean. this place is not seedy and you don’t see women of the night walking around etc!
it was brilliant.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. We were able to drop our luggage off before check-in and explore the city hands-free. Very close to the Tokyo Skytree and the train station. Our room was great, very clean and lots of spa stuff available too! It was a very quiet and relaxing place.

The room was a decent size, room service was fairly cheap and very tasty. I also left a bag in my room and contacted staff about, which they kept for a few weeks untill i returned to pick it up.
Nothing, everything was great
