The hotel opened in 2020 I believe and the facilities still seem almost brand new - everything was well maintained and clean. The Nihombashi/Kanda area had a lot of great restaurants nearby and had x2 stations within 5mins walking from the hotel. In the daytime it was very lively with the office workers out and about, but it was a quiet oasis at night - great for light sleepers! LOVED the 大浴場 (large communal bathing area), very clean and super relaxing after a long travel day.

There was a miscommunication about the room cleaning schedule and cleaners tried to enter my room without knocking (while I was inside). There was also a charge from the restaurant (which I did not use) upon checkout. The reception staff was very professional and sorted both these things out though!

The room has everything you can ask for from a five star hotel except excessive space and decoration. water tap is filtered and is drinkable. Bathroom mirror is heated. Toilet is toto washlet. Bedding is very clean. Towel is changed daily. Great location.

room is really compacted. hard to have two luggage open at the same time.

This hotel is located in the center of Nihonbashi area. The Shin Nihonbashi JR station is 4 min walking distance, and Metro Mitsukoshimae is 8 min walking distance. You can go anywhere in Tokyo and vicinity by using public transportation. I took taxi cab from Haneda Airport to the hotel and it charged me JY8,300- including toll. They have a public bath room in the second floor and it is very comfortable to ease the body before go to bed. You can enjoy any kinds of foods because it is Nihonbashi and Kanda area, relatively reasonble price because it is down town Tokyo. If you come from Narita Airport, take Narita Express from Narita Airport and one station back from Tokyo to Shin Nihonbashi. The train depart from same plat form area, it is the easiest way from Narita.

The room is not so big enougn, especially big and tall guys. if you are tall and big guy, I recommend you to use two rooms when you are couple. But location is more than everything.

I expected less given the price I got through booking.com, but was pleasantly surprised. This hotel, one of the oldest in Tokyo has been recently renovated and everything was new, modern, and clean. While breakfast was extra, it was plated (not a buffet) and very good. Lunch and supper is served also and a very good value for lunch (did not eat supper there). Staff was excellent. They have an Ofuro or pubic bath if you wish to partake.

Location was about 10 minute walk from train station and for me, was difficult to find. I wish Japanese hotels were bigger and had drawers or shelves for clothes.

- Have public bath but size-wise it is rather small - Have coin laundry - Clean and comfortable room with efficient layout despite size of room is not that big at 19 Sq meter

Tokyo was our last stop after going to a few cities in Japan with our JR pass . As such we have additional bags and heavier luggages. While the hotel is 1 minute walk from the JR Shin Nihombashi station, this proximity is useless as there is no elevator or escalator in JR Shin Nihombashi station . We either have to carry our heavy luggages up many flight of steps to the ground level or walk further away towards the Mitsukoshimae subway station direction to take the elevator to the ground level . We chose the take the elevator and the walk to the hotel takes about 15 minutes.

Staff were friendly; they allowed us to check in early Facilities modern and clean Vending machines available The onsen was a nice bonus as well Late check out was available, we were charged was 5000¥ per hour

Not a very well connected area, but you can walk 10 minutes to the main metro system Not much to do in the immediate area except the Robot cafe We were not hit with this, but the hotel does charge for lost keycards - the fee I recall was not reasonable!

Location is excellent: plenty of options to get around by public transportation. Plenty of restaurants, bakeries, shops and convenience stores at a short walk. Hotel room is small but adequate for a couple with 2 large suitcases. Bathroom is of a comfortable size for Tokyo. Having an on-site laundry and microwave was a nice bonus. Although we didn't use it, hotel has a nice looking restaurant with competitive prices.

Free onsen required covering tattoos (which is quite common in Japan) and although hotel offered covers for purchase, it just felt a bit of a hassle to got through if you have big tattoos and we ended up not using it. This is by no means a fault on the hotel, I just wish I could have enjoyed it without the hassle.

Newly renovated, modern and clean. We booked the hotel for 5 days bec. of the price and location. They change the towel daily but the room cleaning is every 3 days. I love that the water is already filtered so the hotel did not provide any bottled water which is good for the environment. The location is 2 mins walk from the nearest train station (Shin Nihombashi but no lift/elevator FYI just in case you have big luggages] and 1 station away from Tokyo Station. We have an early flight the next day so we just booked a taxi to Tokyo Station for Narita Express Train. We have not tried the hotel breakfast during our stay.

The toilet/shower is compacted, the room is small [which is average in Tokyo] and we can only open 1 big luggage at a time. So you have to be strategic with packing.

The hotel's location is great! It's exactly in between the Imperial Palace, the Tokyo station and Akihabara (just 20 min. On foot) and it has three different metro lines and a train station at just 3-5 minutes of walking distance. The room was comfortable despite being small. The best part of the room was that it had a shower (no bath) which is what I wanted! The breakfast is great. You can choose between a traditional Japanese breakfast (where the fish is cooked very well and is so tasty) and the western breakfast, but you need to tell the staff a day before which one is your choice. The staff was very nice and helpful. They speak English and they help you with any questions you might have. I would go back to this hotel again if I am lucky enough to come back to Tokyo.

Rooms are a bit small, but I think this is standard and normal in Tokyo.

It just feels really good to stay here. Convenient 5-10 minutes' walk from several train stations, so you can get to many places in eastern Tokyo in 20ish minutes or less. Staff were very helpful and nice. The room was small but didn't feel cramped. The onsen facility was nice and peaceful (In case you're wondering like I was, it's a traditional-type onsen that's gender-segregated and nudity is required).

The only problem was that I think our bathroom fan wasn't working, which meant it could get hot in there. I should have notified the staff, but we were out and about so much that I decided it wasn't worth it. I'm sure this is not true of other rooms! Unrelated, I'm a night owl so the 10 am check-out time felt slightly early, but that's okay.
