Location: The hotel is about 750 m from Tokyo Station, the main departure point in Tokyo for tourists. Moreover, there is the Mitsukoshimae subway station (Z line and G line)) about 300 m away. The kindness of the entire staff: for example, I had a problem with a Japanese phone card and for more than 30 minutes a lady at the reception took care of solving it, always with a smile on her face.

Breakfast not too rich and repetitive. Room cleaning policy: it is done only once every 3 days. I was disturbed by the mention that if I want the trash removed from the room, I should take it out into the hallway. Can't at least the garbage be picked up daily by the employee in the room?

The staff at this hotel are wonderful and they are always very helpful and polite. Many thanks for arranging a room for me with a great view of the Shinkansen! If you are an admirer of the amazing railway of Japan, then this is a hotel for you. Despite of the location, the soundproofing seems to work very well so I slept very well. Another highlight is the breakfast at this hotel, highly recommended with plenty of tasty choices. Lovely thought on the special menu for the New Year's Day. Really enjoyed staying here and will certainly come back next time I am in Tokyo.

Nothing - it was a wonderful stay.

very well trained staff, excellent service. good location but not crowded, quite neighbourhood. great value.

there’s a high chance that you don’t have a view from the window, which is very different to the pictures advertised. I stayed at the 5th floor, there is a sheer blind that can’t be pulled up, I assume it’s for protecting clients’ privacy as there is another high building right across the street. the room is not sound proofed, you could hear noise in the early morning, ear plug is recommended

It was very close to one of the train stations., and walking distance (around 10 to 15 mins) to Tokyo Station It's also walking distance (10 to 15 mins) to Akihabara. Staff spoke Japanese and (some) English and I was able to understand them. The buffet was Great. The room was perfect size for my purpose. The room was looked after every day while I was out.

There was nothing that I didn't like. Everything is great for me. Room size might be small for some people, but I was able to fit all my luggage in the room with no issues

Close to many tube / train stations. Very clean. Good breakfast selection - Japanese mainly but with a fair selection of western options too. Lovely staff. Vending machines, microwave, washing machine on one of the floors. Compact but very adequate bathroom. Twin room was also very adequate in size. Close to lots of places to eat. The nearby Coredo building had lots of good restaurants (burgers, salad bar, craft ale, Italian and traditional Japanese) and gift shops, along with underground access to 2 tube stops.

Pillows were like rocks - used my travel pillow after a few days of neck ache. Instant coffee sachets for the room would be a good addition.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Unlike what some have commented, my room didnt appear or feel dated. Actually, the whole hotel didnt look old. The hotel has a cheerful and pleasant vibe. The room, although small by non-Tokyo standards, is slightly bigger than the rooms of the newer budget hotels (cough, APA, cough). Regarding the controls for the airconditioning/heating, its a simple low-medium-high kind of control. Since the weather was still cold last week, the hotel's central temperature control was set to heating. Whenever I find my room a little nippy, I just put the heat on low for some time, then turn it off. When I feel a little warm, I just open the window slightly and the room immediately cools. There were several nights when I left the window open. No problem with the street noise as there were hardly any at night. The bed was fine for me - not too hard nor soft. The bed comes with one Tempur pillow, but I asked for an extra soft pillow upon check in and I was given one immediately by the staff. The bathroom was nice and clean. They clean the room every 3rd day of your stay but they enter your room everyday to empty the trash and put in new towels. Location was fantastic. Its a quiet place but just a short walk away is Tokyo Station, and even nearer is Kanda Station, when you go the other way. I preferred using Kanda Station, btw. I enjoyed my walks in that area, and Kanda Station is much smaller than Tokyo Station so its easy to navigate inside. Lots of restaurants and shops around Kanda Station. There's a Nakau branch in front of the hotel that is open 24 hours. It specializes in chicken but they also have other dishes. Its a value-for-money place. Delicious and hot food at reasonable prices. There's also a Ministop and 7-Eleven nearby. Most of the staff I encountered were friendly and nice, except for the girl that I talked with when I was checking out. Not friendly at all. Would stay here again!

The breakfast buffet could be priced a little lower. I found the price of 1,500 yen a little steep, so I didnt try it.

The location is very convenient, close to Tokyo Station as well as the metro from where you can easily reach some major Tokyo sights - Imperial palace, Akihabara Manga district, Ueno park, Asakusa, Tokyo Skytree. Despite my window looking onto the main street it was very quiert during night, didn't feel like central Tokyo

Room service every three days (and only if you stay 4 nights or longer) is a bit absurd. I have no problem using the same towels or bed linen for several days but this regulation still seems rather odd since I met the cleaning staff in the floor every morning. Also the reception staff barely speaking English in a central Tokyo hotel was a bit disappointing, although they were very kind and helpful.

The 1st advantage of this hotel is the location, very close to various stations and 1 stop away from Tokyo Station. I asked for a high floor and got a room on the top floor with a view to the city which I very much enjoyed! The window (that can be opened) did quite a good job blocking the street noise. The hotel has a retro vibe but everything is clean and works.

I like a harder mattress but the bed was a bit too hard in my opinion. The pillows are quite flat. The bedding is a single sheet and the blanket lays on top. I prefer bedding that completely covers and holds the blanket inside.

Stayed one night, good location as we needed to take the Narita Express from Tokyo Station early the next morning - about 15 walk to the station although navigation wasn’t the easiest due to all the highways and overpasses in the area. Also enjoyed walking 20 min north to explore Akihabara area. The bedroom was very spacious for Tokyo, modern, clean. Everything we needed for one night, no issues at all.
