Loved how cozy the place was. It was really spacious. The lower beds were great, and surprisingly good enough to accommodate 2 people in one. The area around us was just bustling and it was great! So many things to see. The hosts are wonderful communicators and we really appreciate all the prompt answers <3

While everything was spacious, the bathroom was not. It was a little bit uncomfortable for us girls, so I can only imagine it'd be tough for bigger guys. Do take note. The ladder to the bunk beds are really hard to get up and down (the steps are rounded, not flat), so there might be some mobility issues there.

The location is hard to beat. It's just a 2 minute walk from metro and the building is in the middle of a very hip neighborhood with cool restaurants, bars, and tons of vintage stores. The area is semi-busy but also very quiet. We were a group of 4 people, it was bunk bed style but made very well. The bunk beds doesn't creak at all, very very sturdy as if you're sleeping on a separately floor. I sleep so well on the top bunk. Although there's only one toilet, because the sink, shower, toilets were all separated in its own room...it was designed to be convenient even with 4-5 people in the room. There is also a washer in the bedroom!

Great location, especially if you have been to Tokyo previously and have already been to Ginza etc. The area is pretty cool with tons of restaurants, shops etc but in small, mostly carless streets. Train station is 2min walk and so is a large supermarket. The apartment was comfortable and nicely decorated, had everything you needed (even adapters!)

We were travelling with a 2 year old so a curtain to separate bed area from living space would’ve been good (once they go to bed, can have lights on elsewhere)..

Great size room for a family of 5. Beds are comfortable and there was a washer/dryer in the room, which was very handy. The location of the property is awesome, it is on a 2 minute walk to the train station and the station is on an express line. If you catch the express train, it’s only one stop from Shibuya. After a big day of exploring and navigating through crowds, it was nice to come back to Shimo-Kitazawa where there was still a buzz but not over crowded. Lots of great places to eat and all with in walking distance, there is even a few convenience stores steps away. I 100% recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay.

Had a little bit of trouble signing in with the self check in but the host was quick to respond and help us.

The room is really large for Tokyo standards and great attention to design details. It's been designed as a loft rather than a hotel room hence it really has a home away from home feel. On top of that it is in a lively neighbourhood.

The room design is inviting but as you have no coffee capsules nor tea bags you have to leave your room to get a coffee. Would be nice to add these amenities to allow guests to enjoy spending a bit more time in the room. When we were there there was demolition / construction work on the plot next door - would have loved to know about that.

The location is absolutely prime! Right on the ground floor of the building is a thrift shop and all around in the side streets are filled with thrift shops ready to be explored by the avid thrifter. There's also so many restaurants right next door and all throughout the neighbourhood. The washing machine was amazing, I didn't know you could have a washing machine and dryer in one. The overall look and feel of the place was great, very aesthetic! Made you feel so nice and light, especially after our long days out as a familiy discovering Japan, it was the best accomodation to come back home to. The owners have really thought about making the stay so convenient, easy, and smooth. The beds were also sooooo comfortable. The best set up for a family of 5.

Check out was a bit frustrating - when we got there I had already done the oneapp stuff where you fill in all the details of the guests but when I went to the next step to check our location, it wouldn't give me the code because it thought we were still more than 100m away. Easily resolved by just doing manual check in on their iPad on the 5th floor, using the codeI got from the OneApp check in link. Some minor staining on the carpet and pillows.

A very comfortable space for a family of 4. An excellent view and location making it accessible to great restaurants and shopping. Loved the artwork that was made in the apartment and displayed on the billboard, impressive! We were however super impressed with prompt service, communication and care by manager and cleaner who collaborated so effectively when we accidentally left our daughters medication in fridge. So grateful and definitely look forward to staying here again.

We lived our stay at illi Sun. Really well set out, spacious apartment. Loved the balcony. Perfect location for exploring & super close to the train station - only one stop from Shibuya on the express. Highly recommend staying here. Heaps of cafes, bars & restaurants to walk to. Good supermarket across the road too. A little have in a cool part of Tokyo. Will definitely go back when next in Japan.

The automated check-in was easy and the location is perfect and close to the train station and an excellent grocery store. The place is spacious and comfortable to relax in after a long day. Wifi was fast and consistent.

We didn't end up doing laundry, but the hanging rack for clothes is a bit bent and sagging and had I tried to hang anything on it I think it wouldn't have held up well. The kitchen would be even better with some kind of induction hot plate to make it possible to cook more than just microwave, not a big deal though as it was as advertised.

The property is incredible spacious for Tōkyō and was perfect for our family with 2 teens. Very clean, and in a great, walkable location that is very close to the subway. Love that the appliances were labeled in English, which made them easy to use. Had the best washer/dryer of anywhere we stayed in Japan. We ended up extending our trip and had to switch to a different floor for the last day. The hosts were very accommodating with the switch and even had our luggage moved to the new apartment for us while we were out that day.

We had a bit of an issue with check-in, when the tablet lost its internet connection and we were a bit stuck since there was no way to proceed. We managed to get it reset after messing around with different settings while using google translate. Hosts responded within about 15-20 minutes.
