The staff was very nice and friendly. Everyone was dressed in their respective uniforms and they were very formal in their appearance. A few had a little trouble communicating in English, but they tried and eventually were understood. The heated toilet seat was a nice touch. The rooms and facilities are very clean. Very close to Tokyo Tower.
The rooms are in need of a makeover as they are a bit outdated. The bed was rather hard, but acceptable. The lighting, as in most hotels, was poor. The restaurants were over priced and not open every day. I would have liked a microwave in my room as opposed to a common microwave in the floor lobby near the elevator. All of the bellboys are actually women. I have no trouble with that concept, but they struggled with the weight of several pieces of my luggage.

Location, location, location. Close to several attractions, close to subways, good clean rooms, friendly staff and great breakfast buffet. This was one of the most elaborate buffets we saw during our trip which also had the best description of the ingredients used in the food (we are vegetarians, so this is very important). taxi available at the front door and the Airport Limo bus comes to this hotel. The view of the Tokyo tower from the high floor room was a real treat
We were part of Gate 1 tour which gave us their standard room for 3 nights and we had booked high floor room for our additional stay. I wanted the hotel to quote us the upgrade cost to continue staying in the high floor room for additional days but they dragged their feet. The standard room was acceptable but the upgrade would have been fantastic. Another hotel had no trouble doing this for us

I was happy with my stay in this hotel. The room was a bit worn, but clean. The breakfast was delicuous with a very large selection. My room had a good view on the Tokyo Tower.
The location is better suited for a business trip rather than for exploring Tokyo. The value for money was just right, I think it might be slightly overpriced for what you get.

The rooms are very large in comparison to the smaller spaces commonly available in Tokyo. The rooms on the 11th floor where we stayed for a week, were very clean and modern. There is a convenient store on the first basement floor. The large pool was a plus given the heat in summer. The personnel were very professional and helpful. The location was superb; few minutes walk to the nearest train station. Shops and restaurants located a 10/15 minute walk.
Some common areas needed updating. The carpets in common areas on the ground floor and first basement needed a good vacuuming and an update.

Amazing location close to subway stations, bars, and restaurants, large, well-appointed rooms, and multiple upscale restaurants within the hotel building all make staying at the Tokyo Prince Hotel a truly royal experience. The "Yaki-Niku Champion" restaurant located within the hotel turned out to be fantastic.
It would have been helpful to have an easier way to make online reservations for lunches and dinners at the restaurants within the building. We didn't realize this until the last minute and the buffet was booked, so we had to forego it and look for other alternatives.

We were traveling as a family and booked a suite to accommodate everyone. The room felt a bit dated but it was spacious - massive by Tokyo standards. The hotel has a bunch of restaurants of all different types, but we didn't have a chance to sample any of them. Ended up happily eating all kinds of interesting things from the Lawson's convenience store in the basement, which also came in clutch for diapers, toiletries, etc.
Strangely with all the restaurants on site they still don't provide room service. No fitness center either. It looked like some rooms have been updated but ours had not.

We have used this hotel a couple of dozen times over the last 20+ years. We like its atmosphere, its location, its large and attractive lobby, the choice of restaurants and the large bedrooms (30 M2). We fully agree with the caption written on the signboard found at the entrance of the hotel "Timeless Nostalgia". Indeed when living in Tokyo back in the 70ties and 80ties, we regularly visited the hotel including its well known shopping arcade Pisa which unfortunately since closed down. We plan to continue patronising it in the the coming years.
The only drawback of the hotel is its car parking. Although large and conveniently located in front of the hotel, it is in an open area thus leaving your car in the scorchy Summer sun or in heavy rain, this time thanks to typhon no 7. Does not make it easy nor comfortable to recuperate your car...This time, we also ended up with a bedroom giving on a large roof and a view limited on the right side caused by the outside wall of the hotel.

The room itself was very spacious, probably the largest of three hotels I stayed in while in Japan. The room was nice and had standard modern amenities like USB chargers and multi-light controls. Overall a nice room for a decent price, and within a reasonable walking distance to train stations, restaurants, and some shopping.
While the staff does speak some English, I had minimal interaction with them aside from check-in and check out. Polite but maybe just a little impersonal. Not necessarily a bad thing, I arrived late in the day straight after 14 hours of flying and almost 2 hours of trains, so I'm sure I wasn't at my best myself. The bathroom was also slightly dated compared to the rest of the room, but completely usable and clean.

This was are second stay at the Tokyo Prince Hotel. It is very convenient for our stay in Tokyo. The hotel offers a good variety of dining options. There are also several options in the Tokyo Tower along with some food trucks located at the tower. The French bakery in front of the hotel is also an excellent option. There are several mass transit stations close by so it’s easy to get around the city.
The hotel is showing its age a bit but for us the convenience and friendly staff far outweigh considering another option. This is where we will stay when visiting Tokyo.

Spacious room, great value for Tokyo, breakfast was excellent. We were happy we booked early, hotel was sold out. Free shuttle bus to Hamamatsucho station hourly. We loved there was Lawson's downstairs. Tokyo Tower was so close and there was a shrine next door. Cherry Blossoms just started to bloom.
Realized not too close to main train station, we ended up using taxi often, especially when it rained. Hotel was older. Due to the time of year, the hotel didn't have any air conditioner, only heater. It was too warm. Staff advised us to open the window but we could only open a few inches. It was still warm so we had to ask for a portable fan.
