Room cleaned very well. All staff very friendly during all interactions

The only things I could say (otherwise would have given a 10): - There were quite a few ants in my bathroom area during the stay - Occasionally, as I was in the room above the smoking area, it could get quite noisy,and at times I could smell the smoke rising from this area (this was likely due to the room I was in this time -105- when I stayed last time on the top floor, this was not a problem). Thank you.

I was asked to put my credit card details on a paper registration form, I think this is a poor practice.

Super friendly, we arrived 3 hours early due to our flight, they told us to wait in the bar & have a drink & within 20/25 minutes they had a room available to check in, very friendly, helpful…Room was clean, cosy, quiet… late bar for a drink, even let us check out 30 minutes later, quite a chilled hotel. Location was 5/10 minutes walk into the centre. Depending on how quick you walk, quiet residential street, 24 hour reception, always say hello

Hard to nitpick but the games room could do with some pool tables, table football, couple of arcade machines, & the pool area updating as seems quite tired, there is scaffolding around the hotel so some work is going on, maybe in time the cosmetics of the hotel will be complete… definitely the outdoor area needs modernising but like I say that is probably on the to do jobs list, the important stuff is being dealt with at the moment

From the start staff were extremely helpful, helping us upstairs with our luggage and pointing out facilities and written information. Our room was cleared of rubbish daily and beds remade, often with clean sheets and fresh towels. The hotel was near to the centre of St Helier. Fortunately the premises next door were not being used so we could park our hire-car on their frontage. When we asked for a different (larger) pan as we were doing our own catering this was supplied

Because it was hot we slept with our windows open at night but decided to close them as someone smoked weed under our window one night

The very friendly and halpful staff. The cleanlieness and especially the mini kitchen in the room. The personal touches as in taking my case to the room etc. I found the matress too hard which was very uncomfortable for me but of course I realised too late that they could have tried to sort this for me if I had alerted them.

The scaffolding round the building and the external work being carried out while staying. I do appreciate it is essential to keep the property safe and upgrading the building for everyones comfort but a little warning of these works might have been nice especially in the height of the summer. In saying the above I would definately stay at this property again.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Room was a good size, clean and everything you needed in a kitchenette. Didn't use communal areas but nice to have a lounge and bar as an option. A really pleasant and welcoming team, have recommended it to others, as while a budget hotel, definitely way better than the average budget hotel. Barely heard anyone else in the place! Would definitely re-visit Jersey and would definitely stay here again. Thanks team!

The room was clean, well equipped and laid out. I had a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and small hob. The bathroom was newly decorated and had a bath and shower. Good water pressure to the shower. The hotel is in a lovely location, a short walk from the Main Street. The hotel has a small outdoor pool set in a pretty garden. There is large lounge area with bar and a pool table. The staff were exceptionally helpful.

The lift didn’t work.

Hotel is a 10 minute walk into town but only a couple of minutes to a local shop and very handy for pubs and bars. We found the hotel very well maintained and spic and span throughout including all stairways and corridors, our room was also fresh and clean. The bar area is also pleasant and found Paolo to be a knowledgeable likeable chap with a good sense of humour. Our beds and pillows were very comfortable and helped us to a good nights sleep, would certainly stay again.

At check in I was asked to sign for permission to charge my card in the event of any loss or damage etc which of course is standard practice in most hotels but what is not is the long itemised inventory style list of items found in your room with the penalty price for each item lost or damaged which included things like £600 for a carpet, £100 for a bath mat, £50 for a net curtain and £10 for a kitchen fork etc etc. I found this a unusual and a little concerning which led me to take detailed before and after photographs of the apartment to cover any would be spurious claims or charges to my card.
