The staff were amazing and sweet, liked that they brought me a hot water bottle when I was cold. They also constantly checked if i was okay.

The hotel can't be found on uber or google maps, that should be fixed to make it easier to get there

The staff was very good and helpfull. They were all super kind and friendly, really thinking along for our trip. Some days there were some cheeky monkeys around, it is very funny to see them trying to steal food.

The wifi was shaky, specifically in the room. For someone from Europe (who doesn't have internet outside of Europe) that can be difficult. Especially when you have some business meetings during the trip.

the bed is comfy for sleep and the room is spacious and refurbished. plenty of space to keep stuff. The location of the hotel is facing the Karura Forest and you can see greenery at the window. Some Langurs were hanging around the trees nearby without disturbing your daily activity. The hotel transport arrangement is convenient and the price is affordable.

The humidity of the room is slightly high maybe because of the altitude of the city. The clothes remain damp even after washing for a few days. The quick dry towel that I bought was wet and needed to squeeze out the water every time I used it.

The building itself has its own charm; & definitely the green surrounding adds a picturesce old style feeling to its ambient. It was very quiet; even tough it was literally in the city center. Liked this part especially as the city can be buzzing & loud!

For me personally it was the taste of the food; but this one is my personal opinion; even tough other people enjoyed it (including my family members); for me it was missing something; but as said only my opinion

I booked two rooms for me and my colleagues, so saw more than one. Both rooms were great. The breakfast was delicious, all food and beverages good, the staff were kind and helpful, the location could not be beat, the setting is stunning, the pool is beautiful, landscape feels like you're in a forest but you're in the city, the rooms were clean and comfy - while the bedrooms are not "high-luxury" they are appropriate for the hotel rating and very nice. Everything was clean. I will likely stay here again when I return to Nairobi and would definitely recommend it to others.

Bedside lamps would have been a really helpful addition; the only light option in bedrooms was all lights in the room on or off -- which was a bit of a challenge when sharing a room with a colleague.

Let's be honest - it's THE BEST hotel in Nairobi. Quiet, serene environment, surrounded by greenery, right next to Karura forest, you watch the monkeys playing around while having lunch, you hear the birds chirping, you are in nature, you breathe that fresh air, it's like you are in a fairy tale place. It's amazing. You don't hear any traffic noise there which is very important for me personally. The food, the service, the staff - high level, professional. The room - big, comfortable, well equipped. I stayed there twice within 2 weeks - 3 nights each time.

Somebody from the management tried to convince me by text messages on whatsapp to cancel my second booking because of " maintenance issues", which I didn't believe at all. In my opinion it was an overbooking issue. How can you bother your guests like this? Asking me to cancel and to book somewhere else, by myself, making me deal with that hassle, really? Even if there really is an issue beyond your control you are the one to reorganize and arrange my alternative accommodation. Anyway, I didn't back down and eventually I was told that "the maintenance work was completed" and I could stay. The water in the pool was murky on the day I decided to go for a swim. It's not such a big deal for me but I think it would be good if the pool is properly maintained all the time.

Good breakfast, restaurant with somewhat slow service but always open and with a good menu at fair prices. The hotel, has a wonderful garden overlooking the Karura Forest. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy anceh though mine was a little dark overlooking the forest. The location is secluded but only a few minutes walk from Westland shopping centers. I will definitely return to this hotel in my next stays in Nairobi.

This is a brilliant boutique hotel with such amazing staff, I always had someone say hi and ask how I was. Room: My room was massive!! OMG I could have fit two kingsize beds in there easy!! The bed was amazing and it was so quiet I slept in the next day. Meals: I had a halfboard stay so dinner and breakfast were included and props to the chef, I cleared my plate!!

Please repair the keycard entry and locks in some of the lower level rooms, it did seem like there is a bit of wear and tear.

The trees and nearby forest with lots of monkeys around, the staff were also friendly, breakfast was good. Good water pressure and availability of hot water too. No air-conditioning, but the room was always cool

They seemed to have lots of parties there everyday for the entire duration of my 5 nights at the hotel. Very noisy at night. WiFi stopped working overnight on two occasions.

The location was really quiet, being next to woodland & an abundance of nature. The staff we extremely friendly & nothing was too much trouble for them if asked. Cleanliness is next to Godliness & this place had a high standard of cleanliness. The food was excellent & presented to a high standard. Menus for both food & drink had plenty to choose from. The room we stayed in was spacious & well equipped, clean & comfortable.

Room at times was a little too warm due to no air conditioning, but cooling fans were available on request.
