the staff were incredibly kind and helped with anything you needed.

the beach was not accessible. there was seaweed everywhere on the side beach. other properties I visited in Watamu had a beach right in front of the property that you just walk out on and it was private so no one following you or asking for money. I walked to the side beach to “try” to lay down but it was full of seaweed and before I could even put my towel on the tiny space without seeweed and trash, a beach boy came to me and would not leave my side until I walked I walked with him. I’m on holiday, didnt want to entertain anyone.

I loved the view from the rooms!!(*a bathtub with such a view would just be perfect)Not to mention how well I'd sleep at night due to the air conditioning.The staff were great always ensuring our room is clean and tidy everyday!!The pools were also amazing, I mean I could go on and on!!

Lack of swimming pool instructors at the pools(only matters if you dont know how to swim lol).

The breakfast options were standard. Wish they had more options each day. They only switched out ground provisions for lo mein and vegetable rice after two days. The breakfast was pretty bland compared to the other food available at the property

Loved the room and the bathroom. It was spotless! I need my bathroom super clean so I was so satisfied when I saw it was exactly like the picture. Having sea view was superb too. I just sat on the balcony and enjoyed the ocean view.

The fact that I couldn’t get my nails manicured at the time I was there because their products hadn’t arrived yet. Everything else was absolutely perfect.

This hotel and it's facilities were perfectly located at the seaside in Watmau. The food was great, the staff were attentive and helpful, our room had great views over the sea and was close enough to all amenities.

Had to go into town to get cash because I was not happy to pay a fee to the hotel

Proximity to the Indian Ocean, great air conditioning (very necessary indeed!), a quiet pool as well as a bigger, louder one. All rooms have beautiful views of the ocean.

Although the food was good, and the staff delightful, we often waited a long time for meals to appear.

Big thank you to Manager George who handled my issues; Cate for being a kind host and Josephat at the reception always with a big smile on his face. We had a splendid time and I will be back soon majaliwa!

Only that at half board there were no preselected complimentary drinks or at least discounted but that is a me issue I will be prepared next time.

Immaculate gardens and setting, very friendly staff. Lovely spread at breakfast which we could eat in the shade outside the restaurant overlooking the ocean - a perfect setting.

Nothing - it is a high class hotel.

They are very clean & their food is nice, check-in was also very prompt. They also allowed late check-out. Additionally I liked the ocean view from the hotel.

I didn’t like the salty swimming pool water. At check-out I was made to pay for my room again despite Booking.com having deducted the amount from my account. Later on I had to get a bank confirmation that the money had been deducted from the account. I wrote an email to the hotel about it but they were not responsive, I had to reach out to customer care at booking.com to facilitate the refund.

Beautiful setting, with extremely helpful staff and amazing see views from room.
