Breakfast was an excellent buffet style. Wonderful tropical fresh fruit, delicious omelette cooked to order with a wide selection of back , grilled tomato etc etc in Bain Marie’s on the side. Delicious coffee brought out very hot to order. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

We stayed for a week in the ocean view room. Absolutely beautiful hotel, one of the most beautiful I have ever stayed in. Immediately on the beach with a beautiful sunset. Arriving to a coconut water drink and breakfast was a lovely touch. Our room was beautiful. Air con and mosquito net was very good. Room cleaned every day with fresh bed sheets and linen. Worth paying for an ocean view room if you can. The food was amazing throughout the week. You could choose from a range of fresh meat/seafood/veggie dishes but also fresh sushi and poke bowls. All top quality food. Menu changed every day so never got bored. Lots of places to sit and relax. Two pools with lots of sun beds and space. Very quiet throughout the resort. It is a slightly more ‘chilled out’ resort than some of the neighbouring hotels which we absolutely loved. You met lots of people and was very sociable. If you’re into sport, they are happy to show anything you want on the TVs (premier league/six nations etc etc). Staff overall very friendly and welcoming, happy to help with reservations/recommendations/taxis. Service generally very good and attentive. Overall do not HESITATE to stay here. The pictures do not do this place justice. We had the trip of a lifetime.

Only negative - getting a reservation for dinner at a good table spot could be difficult as often the table would be reserved for the whole evening meaning you may not be able to sit at a good spot. We often wanted to eat at 6pm and would be told we had to sit at the back of the restaurant with no sea view (despite the fact the sea view tables weren’t occupied until 8pm if not later). However I suppose you could reserve a table you wanted earlier and be a bit more organised.

Breakfast was great and plenty of it. Our room was basically furnished it spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning. Tea or coffee delivered each morning. The staff were all great. Lovely plunge pool area. The food in the bar is exceptional and so lovely to sit by the sea for dinner in a cool breeze. Great vibe

The sunbeds could do with updating and the breakfast room although open sided was very hot. Fans would’ve made it more comfortable. Small things that didn’t distract from our enjoyment.

I enjoyed it but wanted to sit outside and it was told we needed to eat inside. Which was too hot and humid. I think fans inside is very much needed.

Not being able to order lunch or dinner from the Pool. Having someone come each hour to offer drinks / food would of been amazing. I didn't like getting dressed to come into the dining hall to order a drink or food. Towels were also not always easy to get at the pool. Many times the basket was empty. The first day we were there, staff came and asked us if we wanted a towel. Then we would need to find staff to ask. Or do without a towel.

Beautiful resort grounds, lots of water sports (windsurfing, diving) & enjoyed the ping pong & giant chessboard. The pool was a great place to cool off n the shade. Rooms were spotless & very comfortable. The breakfast was great, as were the dinner options & woodfired pizza. Best of all was the friendly , helpful staff - they truly made our stay special!

Getting the daily park pass to snorkel off the beach was a real nuisance. Definitely need to travel with data, or , better yet, sign up for the Kenyan M-pesa system if you can!

The property and the location are fabulous. Little wonder it has been the place of choice for holiday makers and ocean lovers for decades.

I felt there was an undercurrent of unhappiness in the staff. So opposite to the Kenyans I come across most other places in the country. In any establishment of its kind I would expect the owner or a senior manager to make personal contact with me and other customers but I never met or even saw either.

I liked the smaller pool area which was calmer. No kids playing around there. Also very happy about the best dive center actually being located right at the property.

I wish I had known that snorkeling off shore required paying a park fee. I chose the location with the Marine Park in order to snorkel as much as I’d like. Don’t really understand the difference between just swimming in the sea (no fee) and snorkeling without fins (pay fee).

The breakfast and food overall were very tasty. The staff were really attentive and great to engage with. The coffee was great. The setting, within the hotel compound, was really beautiful. The pool was perfect. It was a great place to be for a few days!

This is beyond the control of the hotel, but the beach wasn't great. There was a lot of seaweed washed ashore and a lot of rubbish. There were also quite aggressive salesmen across the beach trying to earn their piece as soon as you stepped onto the sand.

We had a really great stay in the hotel and the location and facilities were so great! We travelled to visit friends so only stayed for 1 night but used the restaurant often during our trip. This is a great place for families travelling with children!

The Staff were a little slow in the restaurant and took a long time to get served. We also lost our daughters stuff teddy (cheetah) in our bedroom and a day after our check out I asked the reception staff if they had found it but they made no effort to look and claimed if it wasnt in the 'lost and found box' it wasnt in the room (which we know we had left in the room), so we had an upset child for a few days missing her teddy.

Lovely welcoming drink. Amazing pool. Great views. Comfy room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Restaurant food could have been better compared to other major restaurants in the area. Enjoyed the food, but did not feel it was value for money.
