The residence is very nice, very well maintained and cleaned. The staff is very helpful and super kind. The room is spacious, clean and equipped with AC. The toilet is comfortable and hot water is always available. The swimming pool is clean and it was nice to spend some time chilling there. Very appreciated also the free massage offered at the arrival. The place is walking distance to the beach and to many restaurants close by. Boda boda and tuc tuc are always available just outside the main entrance.

Unfortunately the wi-fi was not working, probably a problem affecting the whole area, with bad network coverage.

lovely spot, although first impression on arrival was a bit shocking.... but once you enter this retreat you feel that this place is very special. Pool clean, big and well contained, staff very friendly and helpful, well-trained service staff... good a la carte food at affordable prices, dinner is served in your private gazebo...great idea... lush green garden

tea and coffee maker not in the room, WLAN not working in the rooms, and there is no possibility to call reception.... sea view, yes...but also direct view on 2 graveyards.in the deluxe rooms....sunrise over the cemetery....an the Indian Ocean, of course. Water pressure was low...could not take shower in one of the two rooms, pipe problems... well, this can happen, but pls work on it Breakfast should be more continental...maybe offer a small variety of breakfasts so that guests can choose...Italian, French, English, Swahili with Mandazi, Mahamri...pancake, fresh juice Service friendly , nice breakfast area

Very modern and comfortable hotel with fan and airco at a great location, few minutes walking from Watamu beach for a good price. Also very friendly and helpful staff. They partner with a beach bar so that you can use free sunbeds at the beach.

Minor detail: We had breakfast included and could pick from the menu. They had many options like croissants and toast, the only thing we missed was omelette or egg

Very nice, clean area with beautiful big swimming pool. AC at the room. Good thing would be to add a fan( not all likes AC). People and atmosphere there was really good. Lovely staff.

Small things to improve, especially at the restaurant - red wine served far to warm. Fruits should not be cut by the same knife as onion ;) But really this is nothing to worry as fantastic staff can mitigate that very quickly ;)

The property was extremely clean and well maintained. The staff was very efficient as well. We had an amazing stay there, it was a last minute booking so we were quite nervous but we were pleasantly surprised. The location was top notch, close to all the restaurants and the beach.

Nothing I didn't like. Although i feel there should have been a kettle and some tea + coffee in the room. But again that's not a big deal.

Ascot is well positioned and within short walking distance between two of the most beautiful Watamu beaches. The staff go out of their way to create a welcoming and friendly service, with attention to detail. I particularly treasured being invited to share Christmas lunch with the management team and residents.

The facilities at the property are very well maintained, the rooms are spacious with a nice coastal aesthetic. The staff are extremely helpful. Good value for money.

There was no WIFI connection in the rooms. Ɓasics like drinking water, a kettle, etc were only available for sale. Also, the room didn't have a TV...

My stay was great, I really liked the staff. Everyone was so friendly and wonderful! The rooms are super spacious and sparkling clean!!

The WiFi wasn’t great. It didn’t work in the room, unfortunately.
