The staff were very friendly and professional, they went out of their way to help me and organise trips to other Islands. Room I have was very comfortable with a/c and a huge terrace with a sofa and 2 chairs overlookincmg the sea. Perfect positioned for spectacular sunsets! The food is good and they were able to provide me with alternatives as the veggie menu, like most in Madagascar, is somewhat limited! The cocktail were delicious. The pool is a good size with a nice sun bed area and overlooks the sea. After a days snorkeling I still went for a swim in the evening! I stayed here for 5 days and will do so again if I ever return to Nosy Be. Thank you so much to all the staff especially Alex who took the time to make sure my day trips were tailored to my mobility needs.

If you need to relax and recharge your batteries, this is the perfect place. Exceptional location, the lodge is very closed to the famous beach Andilana, where we actually went only several times, when we did not go in a trip or at the diving course. Excellent organization before and during the stay, mainly due to the great readiness to help and kindness of our host, Vincenzo. First 3 days we spent mostly on the boat because my son and my husband did the diving course with Josef, one of the most kind person we ever met. Richard, the captain of the boat and his assistant were very kind as well and we spent great days together. Vincenzo drafted even before our arrival a great trips program. We visited all main attraction points during our almost 2 weeks of staying: Lokobe National Park, Nosy Komba, Nosy Tanikely, Nosy Iranja ( most probably one of the most beautiful islands in the world ). When we went to Nosy Iranja ( 90 minutes by boat from the Lodge ), the cook from Emeraude Lodge joined us and prepared the lunch there. We stayed in a villa with 2 large rooms and the cleaning was done daily, exceptionally! The food was amazingly tasty and despite we are very difficult to be pleased ( my son eat only several dishes, I am vegan ), here we had the best meals. The staff was very friendly, starting with Edese ( the waiter ) who teached us several words in Malagasy and ending with the guy who cleaned the pool. Veloma, Madagascar!

The location is perfect and the sunsets from Emeraude Lodge are absolutely amazing!! We had booked for 3 nights but wished we could have stayed longer as the atmosphere was so relaxing. The food options are incredible and delicious. Well done to the Chef/s and thank you to Jenny, Adema (not sure of spelling) and Vincenzo for always checking in on us. We hope to visit you again in the future.

Really lovely location, with the beach literally on your door step! Vincenzo was a great host who really cares about the comfort of his guests. I really appreciated him organising a day trip for me to Nosy Komba. The internet drops quite often, so I wouldnt recommend for someone who needs stable internet (e.g. for work), but it's perfect for those who want a relaxing, tranquil break - which was perfect for me! I hope to visit again in the future.

Incredibly friendly staff and a beautiful spot with comfortable rooms. The views of the sunset and the stars at night were exceptional.

The lodge is a bit removed from the rest of the town and the restaurant menu, although good quality, is a bit limited in choices.

The location is on a nice beach with amazing sunsets. From your balcony you overlook the whole beach, which belongs just to the hotel and the diving center. Vicenzo is very helpful in planning your stay in Nosy Be and can arrange your daytrips - including special inside tips. So we rent his motorcycle and spend one day at an amazing beautiful beach - thanks for your advice, Vicenzo :)

The location is great as it has its own beach with magnificent sunsets. Friendly staff who are always to help. Peaceful so much and also feels so private. Rooms are cleaned everyday to top notch. Vincenzo was always helpful, he was just literally a message away on whatsapp or just a shout out and he would be on the spot in one minute, always available.

Rooms are well spacious but not so personal decorated. They can be designed better. If you want to catch boat trips from Nosy be (if booked not with the hotel), then it takes around 45 mins by tuktuk to arrive sour. However this is considered as an advantage as it offers tranquillity and peacefullness. However, if you would like to dine out in the evening, then the choices are limited as most of the restaurants are far away except those on Andilana beach which 1km away. However, the food at the hotel ia offered with love with friendly stuff and personal attention to you.

This hotel was lovely! All the rooms face directly to the ocean and come with large private patios. The owner built a long dock that takes you past the mangroves to a lovely palapa so you can sit right out on the sea. The food was wholesome and good. Always some fresh caught seafood on the menu along with chicken or beef. The pool and dining area looked right out to the ocean. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

This lodge has a really lovely private beach and a (clean) swimming pool, so enough water to enjoy. I stayed in a suite and it was a big room with a living room and super lovely private outside patio with view of the ocean. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of breads, pancake, eggs, yogurts and fruits. The owner is very nice and the staff members try their best to make you comfortable and happy. Overall a very nice place to stay.

The restaurant food was so so. In my opinion the price quality ratio was a bit off because the food just wasn't as tasty as I've had at other places in Madagascar. Overall its not bad of course but the chef could benefit from some more technical skills. Also, some towels can do with replacement.

Fantastic location in its own bay. Big rooms. I thought wifi was good given the secluded location. Opportunity to go on trips organised by the hotel. The bay is tidal but you can swim in the sea in front of the hotel 12 hrs out of 24 and there’s a pool anyway.

I liked everything. Bear in mind that this is a place to chill out with the sound of slowly lapping waves right outside your room. If you want quiet this is the place. If you want party time and lots of people then this isn’t it . Not an extensive food menu but this is probably because they don’t want to stock a lot of food and then nobody orders it. You can ask them to cook other things. The bigger rooms also have kitchens so you can do self catering.
