My stay was lovely, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel, my room, and the amenities all seemed new and were very clean. I found the bed to be very comfy! I particularly loved there was an option for a washer and dryer (rare!), a workspace area, a cafe, and a gym. I think the location was also pretty convenient, and I enjoyed going to some of the cafes that were closeby as well as a short walk to Chinatown. Also, I was solo traveling so felt very safe in the space and walking around nearby.

It's on a main road so rush hour has a lot of traffic. If you're planning to take a Grab, just budget for extra time.

24 hour reception, good wifi, nice clean room and great air conditioning. Water pressure was good in the bathroom. There is onsite laundry (for a fee) and also a cafe and restaurant. It is walking distance to Chinatown.

Not a problem for us but Lyf offers likited housekeeping (light housekeeping every two days and full service every four days). However you can always ask for more towels etc at the reception if required.

Staff were amazing. The room’s design was simple but funky. All the amenities were there (soap, cream, coffee, kettle, cups, tv, safe). Great location in a quiet area of KL. The view from the 12th floor is lovely and the laundry facilities were excellent.

A small fridge would have been nice. A bit of soundproofing would help too (or padding on the doors so they don’t shut as loudly). These are very minor things.

Open and comfortable co-working spaces to work and hang out - coffee shop at the ground level which served my daily breakfast needs. The wifi speeds were sufficiently fast. The staff were very friendly and understanding to my questions and requests. The bed was comfortable and had a good night's sleep.

The accommodation is located about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the nearest LRT station (Masjid Jamek LRT) and require crossing a couple of busy streets - a point to note if you are going to be carrying heavy suitcases. The walls of the room seem to be slightly thin and I was able to hear movements of people walking along the corridor and in their rooms. I would suggest earplugs.

Clean, very comfortable place to stay that I ended up extended my stay for 2 more nights. I really love the interior especially the wide glass window makes it feel spacious despite staying in a pretty small room (single room which I still love). Fast internet speed too

It has smart tv, a very nice one however the tv cannot be connected to the wifi hence unable to stream netflix on tv ended up not turning on the tv at all after that In the description written there is a coffee machine however it is not, it’s just a kettle. No bottled water provided but you can always go to the common area to refill your water bottle from the water dispenser There is also no parking space provided by the hotel if you drive your own car although there is an open parking lot just right beside the hotel that you need pay

Hotel is very nice, clean and comfy. The location is very convenient near to public transportation and walking distance from main attractions, there is also near by market and fast food restaurants. The staff was very polite giving all information and helpful. Room was very convenient for a single person. Apart from road noise and the surrounding area with some homeless people I would recommend the hotel for the location, cleanness and kidness of the staff.

I was living on the third floor and had noise from the road. Surrounding area has a bit issue with homeless people during night time. No everyday room service.

This is my second year staying at lyf Chinatown Kuala Lumpur, a hotel that opened a year ago. Overall, it's a great, modern hotel with friendly staff. The design is excellent, and there are water coolers on every floor, a gym, a laundry service, and a café, all of which are fantastic additions.

Over the year, the bathroom ventilation and plumbing started making noise. However, discussing the issue with the hotel led to cleaning and lubricating the fan, which helped reduce the noise. Another downside is that the hotel requires a 200 MYR cash deposit, and there's no option to leave a $100 deposit, which is inconvenient as it means withdrawing cash.

Excellent location! We stayed here 6 nights, we enjoyed everything. Breakfast was made fresh every morning, there were washers and dryers on the last floor. Staff were very polite

- There was an unpleasant smell under the sink. - The cleaner threw my earplugs that were wrapped in paper. Probably thought it was didty paper.. But if I wanted them thrown i would have done that :) - Also i have put personal items in a small black bag, bag also was missing probably for the same reason. It looked like a garbage bag so the cleaner threw it... that made me very angry as these things i would not be able to retrieve.

It’s very clean and new. There is a restaurant upstairs and the staff is friendly. The building has a kitchen upstairs, a small gym, laundry place etc. The restaurant upstairs is really good but you can’t trust their menu fully.. you just need to ask what is available today.. but that’s like a normal thing in SEA, so no surprise.

However, you need to communicate with the staff for a few things. We didn’t know how it worked with the breakfast downstairs, because nobody explained it to us. As well you need to ask for a second towel if you are like a couple and you stay in one room together. The room is windowless which is fine actually because you are spending most of the time outside.

The room is clean and very comfortable. It's not large but my family of three can move freely. The bathroom's space is also spacious. Love the place. Very recommended. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The baggage storage looks very safe too. Restaurant above has decent taste and not expensive. The view is also very nice looking out the city. There are many restaurant nearby (5min walk). Petailing street is also nearby. The safe is also quite big so you can put many things.

Would like it better if there is a minimarket close by to buy snacks. There is only vending machine. The room cleaning is only done every other day. Would like it better if they can provide it everyday. But that's not a minus point.
