Very affordable. Decent swimming pool. Large room size.

Wifi wasn't so convenient. We had to enter the passcode each time we used it. The electrics in the room was questionable...one of our plug adaptors was totally blown out when a fuse short circuited - the room then lost all electrical power. Breakfast wasn't so great with limited choice and quality. Swimming pool surroundings was austere. Hotel was very dated.

Staff really are friendly , every staff I encountered is so nice and helpful, one of the first reason I choose this hotel to stay, I can see they probably want to modernized the hotel facilities, hope can see some changes in the future, room price is value for money,

Aircond didn't feel cold at at all idk why probably because I stay at smoking room at lvl 7 ,and always have a lift issues 🛗 , but still it's ok

The Staff were tremendously helpful, pro active and a great host too. To name few, Izla, Robert and few cafe staff. I have requested to change the room provided at room number 1009 since the air conditioning was not funtioning very well and manage to change to room 303 with the assistance front office staff, Thanks.

3rd floor, the smell and odour of the carpet along the corridor was unpleasant, maybe due to the ceiling's leakage. There's only one lift working fot the whole stay.

Everything was perfect. I extended my stay. Will definitely stay here the next time I'm in Kuching. Thank you to all staff for making me feel so welcome, especially Shirley on front desk who was super helpful. Housekeeping was also excellent and did such a thorough job keeping the room nice and topping up all amenities. I really appreciated this.

Me and my family loved the tremendous hospitality and customer service the hotel provided to us each and every staff member was very supportive and made our stay a memorable one. I really recommend Grand hotel continental Kuching as an ideal hotel during your stay at Kuching, Sarawak!

Like before this hotel always my favorite to stay when I come to Kuching for business, the staff so friendly and helpful, wish they have a good day,

I know this hotel is old style, just my suggestion hope they will upgrade to be more modern/tribal and put also our ethnic cultural items in Sarawak in the hotel design, well it's just my opinion, anyway thanks you,

Location, friendly staff, clean and parking lot readily available. Many eatery outlets nearby

Wifi doesn't seem to work. The noise from the motorbike during midnight is loud and annoying. The bed has a squeaking noise when turn around to reposition sleeping posture.

1104 room - tired, but clean. Working fridge. Bottled water and toiletries. Some english tv. Good location. Breakfast included, okay. pool - fab.

The room is spacious. The breakfast was delicious and wide variety. For local cuisine, there were 2 type of carbohydrate (rice or noodles), 1 protein (chicken). Western breakfast were cooked differently every day consist of potatoes, sausages and bean. There were cereal, fish porridge, cake and bread. For drinks, there will 2 type of hot and iced respectively.

Overall it is a good place to hold an official events but the swimming pool was closed. The location is not walkable to the tourist attaraction. The bathroom quite small
