Breakfast had lots of options and catered to many palettes. Rooms were clean and staff were super friendly and accommodating. We had great views of the river and were in short distance from plenty of restaurants. And the people of Kuching are the most easy going and friendly people I have ever met.

Wifi was great on day 1 and then non-existent the next three days. We struggled with connectivity - its possible the hotel was just full and everyone was piling on. Still, reliable internet connectivity is a basic expectation, especially for international visitors who might not have cellular signals.

We have been served by Ryan and his service is really commendable. He is very patient, soft-spoken, and understanding to our expectation. One of the reasons we choose this hotel is the indoor pool because of expected rains from the weather forecast. However, the pool is small and is crowded most time. Furthermore, the room which we stay in has a smell that we find uncomfortable with. We wanted to cancel the rest of our stay and move to another hotel. However, we decided to stay on because Ryan provided us with a change of room with an upgrade to a better room which does not have the same smell in the previous room. It is not just the change of room that make us stay put but it is Ryan effort and good customer service which we really appreciated very much to continue our stay. Overall, I would say that the hotel has a good guest services staff, and this has really made our stay a very pleasant one.

Pool is small.

Fantastic location, Carpenter Street across the street, India Street behind the entrance, the riverfront a 2 minute walk from the hotel. Breakfast had many Western & Asian choices of cereals, eggs, fruits etc. Twin room was large, a/c very effective, large windows with great view. The staff are incredibly friendly & helpful.

The pool is located on the 4th floor in the bar area, so the area doesn’t see the sun at all & the water is not heated. There’s a family of pigeons that use the pool too! One evening the pool/bar area was closed due to a private function, which was inconvenient as I’d planned to watch the water & light show from there.

Reception staff are exceptional! All colleagues we interacted with were so helpful; nothing was too much trouble. Any enquiry was dealt with very promptly and efficiently. Pool/Bar staff were also very good.The room was a good size with a large bathroom with walk-in shower. Housekeeping was very good and the room was kept spotless. This is a good hotel in a great location. We had some snacks and drinks at the pool area - all very good and quick service.😀 Eggs made to order at breakfast was great too!

The only issue we encountered was that the pool area was very noisy with children and it's a shame it's not more open for some sunbathing. This is a personal gripe as we were travelling as a couple. Sometimes had to wait a short while for a towel but they always arrived and the lovely lady at the pool keeps everything neat and clean. Breakfast could have some more western choices but it has obviously been designed for the hotel's biggest market.

Great location, within walking distance to waterfront and India Street. It’s also connected to Plaza Merdeka shopping place - the elevator can directly access LG part of the plaza. We booked the Club Floor King and we enjoyed all the benefits that comes with the Club Floor rooms i.e. access to the Iridium Lounge for breakfast, team break and sunset evening happy hour. All the staff members were very very friendly and helpful - especially when we asked about tourists spots.

An excellent hotel. Lovely and quiet and nicely presented. The room was big enough for the 4 of us. Breakfast had a good selection even for a vegan. Pool was covered in the bar area so perfect whatever the weather (bit of a shock when you first get in). lovely views from the pool/bar and you can see the fountain show from there. Great location. The staff were excellent. The lady poolside attendant was really lovely and friendly and we loved our little chats with her.

Not didn't like but some of the booking com information is incorrect - there isn't a mini bar (there is a fridge), there isn't a bottle of wine/champagne in the room.

Loved this location, the hotel was wonderful! The buffet breakfast was sensational with so much variety and delicious. The staff are so efficient, polite and helpful. This hotel is overlooking the river and in walking distance to just about everything. The room is very comfortable with everything you could think of. It also has the Merdeka Plaza attached too with plenty of shops. Highly recommend this hotel. There is a pool & gym which is very good.

This is the perfect location to travel to the main attraction points. There are plenty of eating places- Carpenter Street, Main Bazaar, Open Air Market and lovely night scene at the Kuching Waterfront. One can even go to the Merdeka Plaza without going out of the hotel. The Plaza has a number of stores, eating places and a supermarket.

Some of my friends who pick me ups from the hotel complain that this is a congested area.

I was misled during booking via Booking.com. Very disappointed. During the booking i saw the wordings breakfast however upon check-in was informed breakfast not included. And i noticed the information in Booking.com was very surprising which stated 2 adults and 1 child. I am very sure i did not input those information. That morning i have to scoit fot breakfast nearby and rush for meeting.

The staff were lovely, they let me check in an hour early, check out half an hour later and printed my plane ticket for me. Location is great. Very walkable to everything and also easy for tour buses to pick you up. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable I had the best sleep every night. Breakfast had a big selection. Shopping mall attached - can access directly from lobby. I had the water view and could watch the light/water show from my room. My only regret is not staying longer than 3 nights.
