The room was huge and comfortable. Basically, like a studio apartment. Microwave, kettle and even cutlery was provided. A nice small dining table where meals could be enjoyed. The bathtub was an added bonus.

The keycard system was not functioning properly but kudos to the staff who were really helpful in sorting out the problem.

Friendly staff. The room was of good size, clean, and comfortable to stay in, with a good view. The location was in a different part of Melaka, but a 10 minutes short walk to Jonker, places of interest and shopping areas. There are also places to eat near the hotel. I will certainly stay here whenever I visit Melaka.

The staff is extremely friendly, although the room aircond no enough cold, but the service is satisfied.

The carparking like a bit dangerous design, possible have green n red light, one time only allow one car to drive up or down.

- Large and comfortable room, aircon very strong and cooling. - Great service by the Hotel staff, feels very welcoming and helpful. - Breakfast buffet was excellent, good spread. Especially loved their Curry Chicken. Took 3 plates of it! - Good location, 10 mins walk to Jonker Street. A supermarket is also located right next to the Hotel. - Excellent value for money.

- Room toilets due for an upgrade. Not as nice as the rest of the room. - Room table was not cleaned properly. Still a bit dirty.

Just a few minutes away from Bandar Hilir. Nice room. Nice facilities.

The room key card is always broken. I need to go twice at the counter to make it work. Really need to upgrade your card or whatever you have in options for the key card. Had unpleasant check in process. Check in process a little bit messy. I don’t know where to queue. No instructions given at first and I waste my time queuing in wrong line. The queue to take elevator is really long. Probably I need to share the elevator with those who have event in hotel. The hotel need to divide elevator for this matter. I ain’t waiting for 10 minutes just to take elevator. I end up parking my car in front of someone’s house at the back of hotel because the parking is full.

The location is good. We have been staying at Bayview for years. Mr. Lim the manager was very helpful and helped with the check in and making our stay comfortable. The Family Suite is good for larger families. You can also get an extra bed for $70/night

The check in was 30minutes later than the said time which is unheard of for a hotel. Unless we’ve been told prior by the staff since they were very busy due to school holidays. The front staff just kept us waiting and not apologetic. That could be improved. The restaurant seemed understaffed. The many tables were only waited by one or two staffs so we waited a while just to get their attention to clean the table before we started eating. The staffs were all moody and never smiled. It felt like you were asking for a favor just to get nasi impit for your lontong. Nobody was waiting in that area. The bowls available were mini bowls for lontong and cereals, etc. So it felt a little weird fitting 3 small nasi impit and overflowing gravy. Other than that the selection is fine.

the location of the hotel was very good n nice, the staff n the workers there very helpfull n like to smile also😊 the price was worth it! the food also worth the price , all food was nice non of them taste bad at all, all food was nice . hope they maintain like that in the future.

just lack of facilities i hope they will add more facilities like spa and more facilities for family like kids pool with some slide or kids shower like now a day pools.

They've maintained the classic or vintage fixtures while still uses modern technologies. The ambience brought back some nostalgic feelings and memories. The facilities that they provide was awesome! Like the carrom board, ping pong table. The pool was awesome! Just like how I remembered my childhood pool.

The mattresses weren't as good as I hoped. The TV wasn't HD. The breakfast is a bit expensive and didn't have discount for tenant or if there was, we weren't offered. So we had to opt for outside food. The towel given was only 2 when specified the number of pax staying.

Near aminities, makan places and shopping ctrs… deluxe 2 bedroom suite is big and spaces . Central control panel for whole room is a plus point.

Carpet seems to have aged & smells. Furniture along walkways looks old and eerie. Lift without tapping room security card which strangers can go up to any floor, feels insecured. Can be better with few upgrades.

It's a smoke-free hotel. Convenient location and close to local amenities around the hotel. Near to Mall and places of interest. Free parking is available for guests. Breakfast is a big spread and served hot, but more condiments can be added e.g. toasted bread was served with only butter and strawberry jam, may add in peanut butter, kaya, or other flavoured jam for variety. Add on more pastries/kueh too. The same goes with the salad/fruit dressings. More choices of fruits/vegetables and dressings can be added.
