The staff Emi is exceptionally professional and friendly starting from the pre-check in until the checking out process. Only RM10 surcharge for every hour extended (max 4 hour) Room is clean, air conditioner works really well, facilities are good for a budget hotel (shampoo+conditioner+body shampoo, water machine, water heater, instant drinks packet, public fridge, hairdryer all provided), extra washroom near the reception counter. Very near to Cenang beach, Chenang Walk, yellow beach bar, MCD, Underwater World. Convenience store & duty free shop downstairs.

The spaces to walk around in the room is small, with the TV and shelf on the wall, we need to bend over to get to another side of the queen size bed (at the end of the room). The staircase to the inn (3rd floor) is narrow and abit dangerous.

This was the second visit to the sunset villa. the first time was 2 weeks, this time 1 month. it is the perfect location. the wifi was ok and as always i travel with my Amazon firestick so i get to keep up with the TV and news. the staff are great and keep the rooms safe. plenty of shops to buy beach ware and scooter hire is sooo cheap. there are plenty of bars but you have to look as it is a muslim country but some good ones on the beach. the one thing that dawns on you after a while is that european tourists are not seen as cash cows. you are left alone to walk the roads. airport is handy and a taxi from the airport is arpound RM40 (give or take). there is a macdonalds on the other side of the aquarium next door and 200m along the road there is a KFC. over the road is an area of hardstanding where a market sets up around 5pm until midnight and it is made up of food trucks doing really cheap food and well worth a visit.

you will strugle to find fault.

Strategic location. Went with two other friends and not suitable for family with health condition due to steep stairs. Room is not spacious but bed is very comfy. Receptionist is very friendly and cooperative. Lovely hotel to book at lovely price! :)

Parking is very limited. But still bearable. If you went back to hotel late at night there are lots of empty space. But overall is very nice :)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Siti is exceptional. Siti work on the afternoon shift. The place is very convenient.

The staircases to the 3rd level. Must provide help or potter to carry up guest luggage up.

A short walk to the beach and shopping strip and underwater world is next door. Hasna, the receptionist, was helpful in recommending places to eat.

Room was very small, okay for me as a solo traveller but not much room for a couple. There wasn't a window. Wasnt easy for the cab to find and steep stairs

near walking distance to pantai, just behind the hotel only. easy access to find some places to eat. easy to buy souvenirs. all walking distance.

Room is small and no window. Also small bathroom and shower over toilet and not really warm. But for that price okay, if you just want to have a place to sleep

The location is phenomenal. Staff super friendly and helpful. Flexible check out time. Very close to night market. Easy to find halal food.

Due to great location make so difficult to find parking spot. Better use ehailing service if wish to stay here

Thank you to Siti & Amilia for the early check-in and for the offer of the Island Hopping packages. The room is very clean, and they do their work proficiently. Keep up the good work! When I called to tell them that something in the room that is not working, they politely asked whether can they enter the room (as I was already outside).

If there is a small table in the room, to put some food stuff or eat in the room, would be better, but overall it is fine.

The main entrance and staircase to go up should improve. Should create a landing area in front of the main entrance.
