The room is comfy, clean and big. The breakfast menu great as usual hotel maybe. The plain sambal not to taste. R u forgetting the chillis and salt?

The bathroom light was dim. The Duty Manager (wear black uniform) attended me so cold and not friendly as much as the other staffs.

1) Breakfast (Nasi Lemak, Croissant & Ayam Curry Kapitan & Juices) 2) House Keeping - even i didn't press the button for house keeping but once i informed the receptionist, the staff arranged it immediately which is great! 3) The hotel is very strategic as it was nearby to Sunway Carnival Mall and my relatives house for visiting and it was very convenient & accessible to the town area. 4) Staff from the Guard, receptionist & restaurant assistance was really friendly and always smiling. Keep it up! 😁👍 5) Room is comfortable & spacious which is good for family & luggages placement. Really satisfied with the choice of room that I chose. Plus point as it has a nice view of Penang City & can see Penang Traffics too.

1) I have noticed the cups in the room was very dusty as though it was not wash / clean for quite sometimes. There was no tea spoon available too for us to use to make hot drinks just a small stick for stirring. Probably can consider to put at least 2 small teaspoon for guests as we had paid. 2) Toiletries was only provided for 1 set. For hygiene purposes should have 2 sets of shampoo gel, conditioner, small Soap and etc not sharing. 3) Pillow was flaccid / very soft (Lembik sangat). Not comfortable for neck. Should provide better pillow for guests as we had paid for the stay at the hotel.

It’s clear that the hotel’s layout reflects the design of an older building, and the management has made commendable efforts to modernize it. The lighting in the rooms is somewhat dim, and certain areas feel a bit dark. While the TV in the family suite is on the smaller side, it was sufficient for our needs, although the channel selection could be more diverse. On the positive side, the hotel staff does an excellent job of keeping all areas clean and welcoming, with no unpleasant odors.

However, we did notice cockroaches in the hallway and café area, which was concerning. Additionally, since we arrived by car, we observed a group of men smoking around the B1 parking lobby, leaving an unpleasant smell as we entered the lift. It might be worth addressing this issue to enhance the guest experience. Another area for improvement is the check-in process. Despite having stayed at this hotel more than five times and making full payments through portals like Booking.com, the check-in always takes longer than expected. It would be great if this process could be streamlined to improve efficiency and reduce waiting times.

I like that it is convenient to get there and they have the saloons (hair and facial) for relaxation. I was able to relax and enjoy things at my own time. Food was alright but the service was good. The servers/manager and receptionists were prompt and responsive.

The shower cubicle could be cleaner. Try getting rid of the mold and mildew on the tiled walls. It would have made much difference. The toilet roll holder may need to be fixed as the one in my room somehow came off when my towel fell on it. Otherwise, it would have been an excellent stay.

Location wise as in very near to the bridge. It made it easier for me since i need to travel in and out the Penang island often.

The area around the building looks kinda creepy especially the empty building right beside the hotel. Also, you might need to add the number of bag trolleys. I’ve requested a baggage pickup from my room before check out, waited for almost 30 minutes but no one came. So, I ended up bringing all my bags down to the car myself. As for breakfast timing, you might want to review the timing since the breakfast time is from 6am till 10am which i think it is very early. Maybe 7am-11am would be great?

The hotel was very nearby to almost everything. It has adjacent mall into the hotel and also very close to the KTM Station / Port. The hotel location is also very close to the exit of Highways if you want to go to the Penang Island and/or to the Northern part. The breakfast spread was okay, not many choices but still it was fulfilling. Overall experience was nice!

I hate that the hall / corridor of where I'm staying smells like cockroaches. I dont know how to describe it but it has disturbing smell of cockroaches.

This is my second time staying here with my family. We stayed in the Superior King Room. The room is spacious and beautifully designed, with a large bathroom that even has a bathtub. All the amenities were in good working condition. The breakfast offered a variety of options and was delicious. The parking facility was satisfactory. The pool was a favorite among the children. Although it wasn't very big, it had a kid-friendly slide. The hotel is within walking distance of Megamall Penang, which was convenient for finding places to eat, although many shops were already closed.

There are not many disadvantages, but there are a few areas that could be improved. The receptionists were a bit slow on both occasions I visited. On the 8th floor, the carpet outside had a slightly musty smell that could be addressed. Additionally, the roti jala served during tea time was a bit too thick and could be improved.

The room is spacious The counter staff friendly, polites and accomodating I actually arrived early to the hotel around 12.30 pm, but was allowed for early check in because our room was ready..and for that i was very thankful since it was a long journey from KL.. . The breakfast was excellent.. everything was delicious and prepared heartily.. even though the choices and varieties were moderate but the taste was super good.. i loooove it soo much..very Penang style food.. hehe.. The towels provided were clean and fluffy and smelled really good..i was totally happy with the towels The room is complete with a kettle and iron and iron board and a small fridge...so it was very convenient to use..

The pillows provided are not fluffy enough.. so its not really supporting ur head when sleeping The shower and shampoo were provided in a little bottle and it was not replaced on the second day.. I would be very happy if the toilet was prepared with a water hose instead of a bidet

Playground in the cafe/restaurant, its not appropriate n dangerous. I have complained to the General Manager John on my previous trip last year n still no changes. To the owner of the hotel, if any of your children or children of your relatives or friends happen to run out of the playground without looking & run into some1 holding a hot drinks or food, what happen next n who is at fault? Please consider removing it n its for the safety of small children. You have a nice, clean hotel, good n friendly staff mayb you can get a good rating fm Booking.com or Agoda etc. I will definately stay at your hotel in my next trip. This is my opinion n I m sure some guests have seen it but they don't bother. Tq you
