Warm, friendly staff. Committed to helping guests get the best experience of Dharavandhoo and the neighbouring islands. Staff & guides are knowledgeable about the tides and behaviour of manta rays and whale sharks. After 3 attempts over 3 days, the weather and tide finally made it possible for us to swim with about 50 manta rays and 2 whale sharks at Hanifaru Bay. Exhilarating experience.

Wet toilet floor after a shower. Alerted the management. I hope they rectify the problem and prevent future guests from slipping & falling

Right on the bikini beach, with beautiful maintained garden between the building and the beach, used also for dinning. Many beach chairs and swings, including ones in shade. The food was the best we had on our trip. Rooms were nice, fridge and AC working well, drinking water available in the room. All the people very friendly and helpful! Arranged the flight back to Male and when it was canceled, dealt with the provider to take us via seaplane instead. We loved it. Thank you for everything!

We had no issue with it but be aware the the window of deluxe room opens into hallway. Standard rooms face the garden and beach. There was quite a lot of coral in the bay formed when the stone barriers have been built but you could find places to swim without shoes too.

Stay at LVIS Blancura was comfortable and the staff were accomodating . The chef was kind enough to make the mains as per our requirements .

The bathroom always gave a foul smell . The guest house is right on the bikini beach but the beach is nothing special at all . With the sand wall in front of the beach it doesn't give you the feel at all. Infact if you're not diving at all in the baa atoll area like Hanifaru Bay ,etc. avoid Dharvandhoo by all means . Stay at Maalhos island instead it has a beautiful beaches and hardly 10 minutes boat ride from Dharvandhoo .

Very helpful and friendly staff ( biggest asset to the hotel) and it overrides the negatives Right in front of the beach and coral reef Pick up and drop off at airport was organised by hotel which is great Snorkelling Excursions off the shore which were organised by the hotel felt safe and was accompanied and supported well ( we had one person who was not very good with swimming but felt safe )

Tv was not working and had to change rooms Hot water is not consistently available Bathroom has no ventilation nor extractor Food could do with more choice and variation

Had a lovely stay at this hotel, where the staff seemed to have mastered the art of smiling. Seriously, they’re always beaming at you, which is a pretty great way to start the day! They even sorted out my flight tickets from Malé, so I didn’t have to lift a finger, making my trip a breeze. But the highlight? Watching dolphins casually swim by right in front of the hotel! Talk about a room with a view.

For the price, I was hoping for a bit more magic at breakfast. It would’ve been nice to see some more variety and, please, real coffee instead of instant. After seeing dolphins, I think my taste buds deserve the same level of excitement!

The staff at any property make our stay good or bad. This was such an excellent staff who worked together to make our visit a joy! No request was impossible and we felt pampered beyond our expectations. Being met at the airport by Sumesh at night was a great start. The head waiter Biraj was so welcoming and did a great job of advising us of ingredients in the food as we have a strict vegetarian diet. The chef made us fresh oatmeal every morning and accommodated special requests easily. He even made us cake with our eggs! Food is important so we have great appreciation for all of them. Boat rides out to see rays and colorful reefs were a treat and affordable. One of the kind owners was our guide and pointed out rays, sharks, octopuses and things we might have missed without him. Our last night Biraj traced a large heart in the sand by the water and they lined it with candles. Our dinner table was placed inside the heart. It was so thoughtful and the whole staff was so friendly and attentive! We felt like we’re were at a fancy resort being treated like royalty by men who enjoyed their work and did it lovingly. I could go on and on but you have to go have your own experience with this special place. I know we’ll be back again.

We liked everything!

The service was top-notch, and the staff was incredibly attentive. The ambiance was truly magical, as the hotel is located right in front of the beach, with the soothing sounds of the sea. The rooms were not big but decently sized, with enough space for a queen bed, desk, and closet. They also had a safe, and the bathrooms were cleaned daily. Opting for full board was a great decision, given the limited dining options in the area. The buffet meals were plentiful, and we even enjoyed table service on the beach.

The only downside to the rooms was that the roof could get quite noisy during rare rain showers.

The rooms have a good size and are equipped with everything you need: enough storage space, hairdrier, fridge, safe, etc. We could sleep very well in the bed and the AC provided a much needed cool air. The rooms get a quick clean every morning. There are lots of different possibilities to chill in the garden and on the beach which is directly in front of the hotel building. The island does not offer many places to eat, but fortunately the food provided by the hotel kitchen is cheap and tastes very good. They even managed to provide something different for the dinner every day on our 7 days stay. The tours provided are OK, with the Mantas snorkeling tour being the main one that is done every time there is a possibility to see these cool animals. Unfortunately most of the tours are very weather dependent and get canceled pretty often. The hotel reef is great, filled with hundreds of different fishes. Flying foxes flying around on the island are another cool animals you can spot.

The internet was very slow. After a small sandy part, the entrance to the water is filled with stones and dead corals so it is best to have shoes on. The island does not offer many activities, so if you are not snorkeling or diving it is not much else to do.

We visited two islands on our honeymoon to the Maldives and can wholeheartedly say that LVIS Blancura was the best kept secret for travellers like us until now! Excellent food each day for breakfast + dinner, great clean room with awesome shower, comfy bed and great aircon, absolutely amazing views of the turquoise water which is less than 1min away from your room (we timed it), the best customer service both to organise your flights and daily trips (sandbank, snorkelling, fishing, dolphin sunset cruise). We were in Paradise this last week and simply cannot wait to return for more adventures! Big shoutout to Sumesh and Sohe (I hope I’m spelling your name right!) for being superstars making sure we got romantic candlelit dinners every night :) something which would’ve costed us 170$ per day on the other island…thank you team LVIS!

Everything was perfect

The LVIS hotel is right at the bikini beach, it is a wonderful location. You can use the hotel's sun loungers and enjoy the beautiful beach and the view. In the morning and afternoon dolphins pass by. Apart from the wonderful location the service is extraordinary: The whole staff is absolutely friendly, kind, helpful and lovely. We were picked up from the airport and then brought to the hotel where we were welcomed with a watermelon juice. The hotel also offers great services for activities. Everyday there are water-related activities, especially snorkelling at Hanifaru Bay. There is a WhatsApp group which informs you about the activities offered the next day, so you are always updated and you can easily book the activity. The rooms are nice and have everything you need. My friends and I highly recommend LVIS, I'm sure it was not our last time there. Thanks again for making our stay absolutely wonderful. We are missing you!
