Very nice hotel near the promenade and bus stops (2 min walk) in the direction of Valletta and St. Juliana. Slima - 5 minutes walk. Many cafes/restaurants, shops that work late. The room has a comfortable wide bed, clean bedding, an electric kettle with a set of tea, coffee, cream, refrigerator, TV (did not look). A nice bonus was a daily half-liter bottle of water. A very comfortable bathroom with a large shower, a set of cosmetics (without a cap, toothbrush and cotton pads) and a separate toilet. There is also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The balcony is large with a table and chairs. Very nice staff who were interested in the day, helped call a taxi, left things before the settlement and after eviction.

Everything was simply perfect. The hotel is close to everything what you need for your stay in Malta - bus stops, many shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel and rooms were very clean, we had clean towels everyday. Staff was very friendly. The hotel itself doesn't offer breakfast but you can have breakfast in their partner hotel for discounted price as well as wellness and you can use aqualuna lido just across the street. The water wasn't too warm but it wasn't as cold as the sea in March :D And they have warm jacuzzi on the rooftop with a nice view. Absolutely recommend and I will come again for sure. Thank you. Malta is amazing.

The towels, bedsheets were perfectly fresh and clean, the room was really tidy, clean and comfortable with all the different lightnings, storage places, coffee corner with the nice bathroom. Even the rooftop pool was a bit warm so we could enjoy the view from the water a bit. Highly recommended place! The stuff also really helpful and nice.

Everything was perfect.

Location is extremely convenient: a few minutes walk from a bus stop, where a few busses to Valletta stop, and a direct express bus to the airport (TD2), and 10-min walk for Sliema-Valletta ferry (c.a. 5-min on ferry to Valletta, 1.5 EUR one-way ticket). The hotel is on a small quiet street, very close to the main street. The room and bathroom were spacious, and clean. There was a small fridge in the room. I had a room with a balcony which was nice.

I was slightly disappointed with the swimming pools: the pool on the roof of the hotel is tiny, more like a big jacuzzi. Swimming there is impossible due to its size. The second pool is very close to the hotel (4-min walk) in a restaurant. I did not enjoy swimming there with many restaurant customers sitting at tables around the pool - complete lack of privacy. The nearest "safe" (no bashing waves) and nice beach to swim is some 20-min walk from the hotel (Fond Ghadir Beach), so not that close (but not that far either). Yet, maybe Sliema beach, and Qui-Si-Sana Beach which are slightly closer (some 17-min walk) were bashed with waves because of the coming tide when I was there.

The location was excellent, very near everything. Walking distance to the ferry to Valletta and close to the aqua pool, which is very good, you can eat and drink there. Also, there are lots of sun-beds. Entrance is €20 each but free to customers of Strand Suites.

The building works started at 7:00 each morning and it is just opposite the hotel! The breakfast in the sister hotel is a bun fight. Eat out, we found a great spot opposite the exit steps to the Cathedral in Valletta. Having said all this, I would stay here again.

Room was good, just as shown in the pictures, staff was very friendly, cleaning service did a great job. Location was great for my needs (depends what you are looking for, of course) - it had bus stop just next to it, so reaching Valetta centre or other parts in the island was easy, area full of caffes and shops, etc. A small and very basic pool available on the rooftop, but there is also a possibility to go to a big fantastic beach club/pool on the other side of the street, which was great. I was also given a room on one of the top floors and really appreciated the view :)

Some minor issues were a weird bathroom door, which was closing (it was not possible to keep it partially open, unless using chair as I did), while keeping it open was necessary to air it a bit and ensure tha too much humidity doesnt accummulate. There was also too little space to put own staff in the bathroom - some small shelf somewhere on the wall would have been very helpful, as I had to keep all my toothbrushes, etc in the room itself..

The room was very spacious and in an excellent location. In just a few minutes, you can reach the main promenade with a stunning view, and the bus to Valletta and other parts of Malta is located close to the hotel, along with many cafes, shops, restaurants... The entire staff was kind and always helpful. The bed was comfortable, and cleaning, as well as linen and towel changes, were done regularly. The room included a kettle for coffee and tea, a fridge, an iron, etc. Highly recommend this fantastic hotel, as the price-to-quality ratio is a perfect. If I visit Malta again, this hotel will once again be my choice 😊

We received a complimentary upgrade to a Family Room, which was lovely! The room and bathroom were very spacious and our stay was very comfortable. All the staff were helpful and very attentive. The hotel looks new and very clean. The location is excellent! Close to several cafés and restaurants, a bus stop that takes you to Valetta and the airport, and a short walk from the ferry that takes you to Valetta and from which there are also boats for excursions. Great value for money.

The room was a bit too warm, even with the heater in the room turned off. It wasn't possible to turn on the air conditioning, as the system is central. We had to open the windows at night and it was mostly quiet, as the windows face smaller streets, but some occasional noise disturbed our sleep. The toilet paper could be of better quality (we also noticed this in other hotels in Malta). A small investment that makes a lot of difference. Despite these, we would definitely stay again! Small observation: Breakfast at the partner hotel is good, but they raised the price from €6.5 to €9 during our stay, and you can also eat well in nearby cafés for that price.

Very friendly and professional staff. The girls at the reception are the best. Check-in was quick and problem-free. All information was explained very clearly. Nice breakfast one minute away for 6.5 euros per person. The location is half a minute from the waterfront line. Although the room is small, it is very comfortable with everything you need. The room had a balcony with a side view of the bay, the view was excellent. Thank you very much.

There was a small incident with the shower, but the reception staff quickly sorted it out. At the same time, they were very nice and apologized 1000 times :) a little advice if such incidents occur, a free breakfast would be just right as an apology. People are different and some like to make trouble. But apologies were enough for us :) thanks again.

Our room was bigger than expected which totally surprised us. Also, we enjoyed the central heating system, even though some reviews said it was too warm. The hotel was just off the bay and close to several bus stops that made it really easy to go around attractions. We had some problem during the stay but the staff were being really efficient and helpful even on the new year day!

The shower in our room only provided 15 minutes of hot water, after that we had to wait for 1 hour for the hot water to restore for some reason. We reported this issue to the reception, although they were really helpful, the issue was not solved by the time we left. Other small problems are the walls being very thin (but did not affect us too much during the night), the rooftop pool was not warm at all despite they told us it should be warm, and the cleaner accidentally opened our door while we’re changing on the check-out day.
