very central and easy assessable location, good value for money, extremely friendly staff, impressive building and free breakfast

if you are a solo female I DON’T recommend to stay in mixed dorm, stinky and snoring guys, some rooms smell just mouldy. The females dorm has at least a few problems - always busy toilets (one for 12 girls), not conscious water spending, most likely you’ll stay without hot water in the morning because some girls just treat showers like jacuzzi. Some shared showers and toilets commonly have a problem, they are just clogged! Obviously, one may say that it can bearable for this price but the question isn’t even in the price, the price is nice. This hostel has just been overrated.

This hostel is located in St.Julian’s, and area is quite busy and happening with a lots of restaurants and bars. The view of the sea from the hostel is amazing. There are two nearby bus stops from where you can take the buses to all over Malta. The hostel was clean and quiet (this is not a party hostel, which is exactly what I needed). The staff were courteous and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

2 things I didn’t like about this hostel: 1. Breakfast: I found the breakfast to be quite underwhelming. There is no variety, the menu stays the same and the number of items in the breakfast is quite less, so you are stuck with the same items everyday. Also the vegetarian/vegan options are quite limited. 2. Nearby roosters and hens crowing early in the morning, which can be a bit disturbing sometimes.

All the employees are kind, gentle and helpful. The position is pretty strategic, u can walk easily or take a bus in a couple of min by walk. The structure is interesting, the view is cool and the little garden is a pleasant and quiet place. The pool area is nice, also in the night with coloured lights, the table just misses a porch to be used anytime. Two showers in a room for 10 are a comfortable option and everything is tyde and clean. The kitchen and the living rooms are good to interact with other guests but there is still space to study or work on your own

The mattress could be more comfortable and some more wall coat hangers close to the bed would help. The living room is nice and comfortable, I would have another sofa instead of bar tables in front of the main table, and the kitchen could have some more utensils, maybe an oven, but mostly a freezer and another fridge. It's a pity that there is not a common area where a friend from outside can stay with u and your dorm's mates without being in the rain in the external tables.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, making the stay very pleasant. The location was great, and the public transport connections made it easy to get everywhere. The rooms were well-equipped; I stayed in a 12-bed dorm which had plenty of showers and toilets. Additionally, there were separate shower cabins available. The outdoor area was thoughtfully decorated and created a relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen was also very well-equipped, which was a big plus.

I missed having a bar at the hostel. The breakfast options could have been more diverse, and the quality of the coffee and beverages left room for improvement.

Great place to stay in Malta. Staff is very kind and helpful, breakfast is good, pool area is amazing, especially in the evening. The location is great - close to several decent beaches and close to the bus station from where you can go to any part of the island.

There was always super kind staff around, glad to help! I was in a 4 bedroom female dorm, we had our own bathroom with two showers and two toilets. The beds have curtains so everyone has their privacy. There’s good breakfast every morning from 7:30-10 or 11 I think. The hostel is lovely, they have a pool, a small garden with orange trees and hammocks, a big kitchen (they even offer basic food and spices), large common area with tables, chairs and beanbags, and a nice area to sit outside (especially for breakfast). the location is awesome, there’s bus stops right by the hostel and you’re also right by st Julian with it’s bay and night life. I met people from other hostels which weren’t super happy with their choices. I don’t think there’s a better hostel on Malta, and for that it’s still super affordable!

I had a good stay. I didn't use the pool since other guests told me the water is very cold but I loved hanging around it. The garden with hammocks was very beautiful. Location is close to Balluta Bay bus stops and it's a walking distance from places like Paceville and Sliema ferries so you can also get to Valletta easily.

When I arrived I was told because I had booked my stay so early (May) they were forced to split my booking and I had to check out and switch rooms after two nights. Eventually I ended up being in two different 4-bed rooms when I had booked a bed in a 6-bed room. Fine, at least I had a bed for all 4 nights, but I just found this very strange.

The locations was great and staff were super friendly and helpful, they had a board full of information. The organisation for the shared kitchen was really good with tubs for your things and 3 fridges, they have 3 common areas and the rooms are very spacious despite there being 10 beds in the dorms. And had lockers under the bed with plenty of ruim for all of your stuff. The breakfast offered bacon, eggs, sausages, beans, toast, salad, fruit, sweets and coffee and juice.

There was nothing really to complain about expect for breakfast ending at 10am but that is a personal preference

My experience from this hostel honestly was excellent. The reception was always open and the workers really kind - the girl even helped us with our luggage down the stairs. It was clean , cleaner than what I expected... everyday somebody would come to clean the room and the toilets and you could even change your towel (which was included) after 3 days for free. The rooms were big enough and gave you the needed privacy with the curtains that each bed had. It had a swimming pool and cosy shared rooms like the kitchen and living room which were clean as well. You could even keep food in a box with your name in the kitchen/ fridge or even cook provided that you clean everything afterwards of course. The breakfast that is also included in the price was really good and had variety , the location was pretty good as well cause you're close to everything even by walking and then for Valetta or other cities you could catch a bus if you walked for 4 minutes. I would recommend it to anybody especially if they're traveling alone since it gives you the opportunity to make new acquaintances and I'll definitely choose it again if I go back!!!

definitely one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in - the best of the basics (curtains around and individual lights by the beds, more than enough hooks, towel and linens provided), spacious, with a good mix of interaction and quiet space, close to transport and the beachfront, helpful staff; plus the extras like breakfast, hammocks, a pool! it's amazing it's the price it's at.

the one downside to bathrooms inside the room is people who chose to take long showers in the shower/toilet rather than the shower only stall and people who had extensive hair routines with a blow drier (you're at the beach!) at 7am
