Perfect location. Close to bus stops and local shops. Short walk to the coast and restaurants. Daily cooked British breakfast included as well as Maltese bread and the traditional Maltese pastizzi. Loved the coffee machine in the room and on request a kettle was also provided. Majority of staff at reception and restaurant were courteous and friendly. Rooftop restaurant kindly provided a vegetarian meal so we could attend a Mother's Day lunch.

Sometimes floor in reception area was washed in the morning when guests were walking in and out creating a slipping hazard. On a couple of occasions coffee and juice machines in restaurants were not working but no 'out of order ' notice placed on them so guests were often seen trying to use them. Need to include vegetarian options in their restaurant menu.

Hotel location was great for me. Marsaskala is local small beautiful city by the sea. Not to many tourists. Price level is good compared to valletta tourist areas. City offers great restaurants for dinner and tavernas for coffee and pastries during day. Also nearby scenery offers good hiking / exploring opportunities by the seaside. Highly recommend to explore Il-Ponta tal-Miguna by the sea. Nearby fishing village marsaxlokk is very much worth visiting also. Public transportation is good and frequent and covers almost the whole island. If you come with your own car there is free hotel parking but there is also plenty of parking space around. Also around hotel there`s small shops where you can buy water, beer, wine, snacks etc...Hotel breakfast was good, no complaints there. Daily cleaning and friendly staff.

Toilet exhaust fan was end of its life. It made lots of noise when lights were on :) Balcony door lock didn`t work. Nothing serious.

The hotel was very clean throughout, comfortable bed, & new towels daily, we had a balcony and superior double, the road at the front was pretty quiet. The room was compact but we thought it large enough for bffrsdfhhtwo people for the week. it had a nice coffee machine & fridge. I asked for a kettle which was immediately provided. All staff we came across were helpful & any request was dealt with immediately. Breakfast was great, a massive selection, both full english & continental, with fresh fruit, cakes, bread & coffee machines. It was a 5-10 mins walk to the centre of Marsaskala and there was a passage way at the side of the hotel which led to the promenade. When we checked out, the hotel was starting to freshen up all of the rooms on our floor & the roof terrace ready for the new season

The rooms were clean. The breakfast was excellent. And the pool was great. The rooms were very comfortable and the place.was located far enough so it would be quiet and not very far so we can move easily between towns. The staff was very nice except for the last day. The food on the bar is also very good

By the time that we were going to check out we made a mistake.and miscalculated the check out. We thought it was 12:00 instead of 11:00. At 11:30 a lady came and talked very rude to us that we needed to leave. I told her i am sorry and started to cover the bags so we would leave. In 3 minutes she came back and still very rude kicking us out. We didnt like the way she talked to us not that she told us to leave.

On the 1st night we were put into a room with 2 single beds, going back to reception to request another room, they said we would have to wait until the next morning. As there was no availability they put us into an apartment across the road. So in the outcome it worked out better for us as there was an extra room for our cases and a kitchen also a washing machine in the apartment.

As my husband has low mobility the entrance of the apartment had 6 steps he had to climb, once up them it was ok as we had a lift to the 4th floor. As it was very hot I think the pool area should stay open until at least 9 or 10pm.

Not our first time visit at Cerviola and it never disappoints ! It is basic 3 star hotel but very clean in and out, nice staff, very responsive. Enough room space,some rooms might be smaller and without terrace and you basically have no view but it is on a main street and it is still nice and quiet. Bathrooms are renovated and clean. You have kettle, water, tea,clean towels and very nice buffet breakfast.Nice roof pool, not big but enough, with deck chairs, a bar and restaurant with good prices and delicious food. Location is great for Marsaskala, i recommend it.

Well nothing much, all was good, can be crowded sometimes during weekends at breakfast as they also accept walk-ins but nothing is missing and it is replenished quickly. Same goes for pool as they also accept walk-ins.

The staff is very friendly and professional, great customer service, they are always open and keen on finding a solution to any request. The breakfast is good, both sweet and savoury options available and continuously refilled every day. The hotel is generally clean and well maintained. The swimming pool area is nice, with sunbeds and a bar-restaurant that is not overpriced.

There are some rooms facing the lichthof that are not suitable to stay in, especially in the summer, despite the air conditioning, no light or air at all. Rooms with a balcony are fine. In the pool area, external guests are often present, which at times can cause not enough space for hotel guests.

Definitely exceeded my expectations. Extremely supportive staff, we were upgraded to separate 3-room apartment with a large balcony with a view to city and to see. The cleaning was doing definitely extra - always was nice to get back when everything was extra clean. Everything was so close, the playground, the pool, the salt pans, the beach with nice views, convenience shops, and bus station right across the street. Ideal for a family with small kids (my was 3.5 years old). Definitely recommend.

Sometimes, it was loud at night because of the 24/7 shop on the 1st floor, but it was a small issue if to look at all other benefits.

Unfortunately my wife fell in the street shortly after our arrival and the Front Desk Staff were amazing in helping with first aid. We had used the hotel on two prior occasions since which time it has been totally and very tastefully remodeled. The rooftop bar / lounge service is excellent with good food which together with drinks are competitively priced and served by a dedicated enthusiastic team. We are Maltese residents living on Gozo and enjoy several mini vacations on Malta per year. This hotel is very well positioned for public transport access, two bus options to / from the airport stop close to the door and buses to the Marsaskala terminus pass the hotel at about twelve minute intervals. From the terminus buses to Valletta depart at twelve minute intervals. Marsaxlokk and Birzebbuga are also within easy reach by bus and both well worth visiting.

The bathroom was little on the small side with a low glass shelf over the sink. There is only lift which could be a problem in event of breakdown as mobility challenged guests may have difficulty using the stairways

Lovely staff, clean room, good breakfast there was a safe in the room. Communication was good we were advised that building work would be taking place so had the opportunity to cancel if it bothered us but as we were out everyday it wasn't a problem.

Room a little cold I think it would be beautifully cool in the summer. I did not like the coffee pod and the small cups and the water tasted funny from the bathroom so used bottled water I bought a small kettle and larger cups and tea as they only supplied coffee pods there was a small fridge to keep milk and juice cold. I'm not seriously complaining about the lack of things we like, just advising others to be prepared if they like tea and larger cups.
