The hotel is very clean and elegant-looking. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even letting us take some things for breakfast as we had an early flight in the morning. The room is very luxurious and spacious and was cleaned daily. There was also a kettle, fridge and coffee machine which was great.

There aren't any supermarkets or shops to buy snacks/refreshments from which was a slight downside. The location is good but the taxi can't drop you off straight to the door as the road isn't accessible by cars, which meant we had to take some steps with our luggage. But that was just a minor issue. The bathroom didn't have a door, only a curtain!

The Reception staff were happy and friendly, they did everything to make sure we enjoyed our stay The Chef's were charming and engaged with guests whilst providing a magnificient spread for breakfast, the choice was wide and only small quantities were on display so food didn't go stale. They were attentive and kept everything appealing and renewed The cleaning staff were happy and very efficient at their tasks. Our room was very clean The location was great to access all parts of Valletta being on a quiet street that was paved (steps) and had no traffic. We saw 3 sets of film crews filming on this street as it was quiet and picturesque With a small number of rooms the boutique style was achieved and often we were alone for breakfast We send our fond appreciation to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable

Being located on a steeply sloping pedestrianised street had many scenic benefits but we were glad we booked our airport transfer through the hotel as there were 88 steps down to the hotel, slightly less going up. Whilst the delivery driver dropped us off at the top of the steps and left us to carry 4 cases down the return driver picked up the 2 biggest cases and carried them up to the top phew!! The return driver was uniformed, curteous and very pleasant with a super clean vehicle

Location was amazing; very easy to walk to everything in Valletta. It’s reasonably close to the bus station where there are buses and taxis to go all over. Our room was very clean and large and comfortable with two balconies. We booked airport transfers through the hotel. For us this worked well because the driver walked us directly to the hotel. The breakfast was very good (everything we ate in Malta was good). The breakfast a good continental breakfast plus they would make omelettes or eggs if you wanted. On our last day we left before breakfast was served. The front desk was able to make us sandwiches and drinks to go which was very nice.

Just be aware that the street the hotel is on is actually stairs. There are several streets in Valletta like this. We had a great experience here but if you have problems with stairs or have heavy luggage that you’re not able to lift you might not like this hotel. If you’re able to walk up and down stairs and don’t have too much luggage this hotel is great.

Staff were a pleasure to interact with, particularly friendly, would have bent over backwards had we needed anything or needed help in any way. As we were staying 7 nights even offered to cook us anything at all we wanted for breakfast! But breakfast was more than adequate anyway and very fresh. Our room was huge with a very big sitting area with leather couch. The bathroom was the only area in the huge room with a window but even lighting in the bathroom was poor. Difficult as such to apply any make-up. The only down side to the room was the situation of the bathroom behind a large heavy curtain. This makes the set up sound 'down market' which it certainly was not. However, we did struggle without a conventional bathroom door which gave no privacy when we wanted to use the toilet. We managed by me sending my husband to stand on the landing outside the room and him using the toilet on the first floor! We would certainly stay there again as we both enjoyed ourselves very much.

A great little hotel. The staff were very attentive, friendly and efficient. Breakfast was excellent - everything was fresh and there was a good selection. We had a spacious comfortable room with quiet and very effective air conditioning - essential in temperatures of over 30 degrees.

The only drawback for us was the location on a flight of steps because my husband has hurt his knee and found it difficult to get up and down.

The room was spacious and comfortable. it was exceptionally clean, and the cleaning service did an excellent job. The hotel reception was very friendly and helpful. The selection of teas was very good, and it was great to have an electric kettle and a fridge.

It was strange to have a toilet/bathroom area behind the bed (a separate space would be better) to avoid noise and smell from the bathroom, there was also no fan in the bathroom. The shower was leaking a bit. There was very loud music coming from somewhere in the street or most of the stay until very late at night. The breakfast was OK on the whole, but could have been better and offer more options, such as pastries, fruit and vegetables, and different kinds of cheese. The reception did not have much information about tourism options, but we found out on our own.

Great location right next to Upper Barakka Gardens, tasty breakfasts and really cozy room. Felt quite luxurious in our apartament (it has a comfortably sized bathroom) and the service was excellent. Hotel is located right in center 2 mins from excellent retaurants such as Koccio. Regarding breakfast, coffee was the best I've had in Malta during our stay. Starting each day here was a recipe for great vacation.

Lovely boutique hotel in the middle of the old town of Valletta. The staff are absolutely fantastic - extremely helpful, friendly and professional. We stayed in the top floor apartment with the roof terrace, which was very well equipped and comfortable, with great views over the city and harbour in two directions. Short walk to sights, restaurants and bars. If you come with a car, the multi storey car park in Floriana is just a few minutes walk away and costs 12 euros a day.

It was a very quiet hotel and met all my expectations. The staff was wonderful and the breakfast was satisfying and delicious. It is an extremely modern place to stay in Valletta! I also loved the fact that after 11 p.m., the door is locked, and only those who have a card can enter. Made me feel extremely safe!

I think the only thing that worried me at first was the fact that I could see outside the bathroom window even though the curtain was drawn. I thought that people outsid3 could see me as well, but the building across my room was abandoned.

Nice hotel with a pleasant atmosphere in a perfect location, good breakfast. The staff is very friendly and attentive.

It was not clear from the photos that there is stairs between the bathroom and the rest of the room - it’s not many, but still rather inconvenient. Another (unpleasant) surprise - there was no window in the room. It was also a bit dark in the room and in the shower.
