This hostel is the 5 star Ritz Carlton of hostels at an incredibly low price. The location is close to everything. The staff became like a family away from home by the end of my 3 week stay. The bed was so comfortable. The air conditioning was nice and cold and provided great ventilation. The entire place was always clean. The rooftop pool with an amazing view was like a pool at a resort. The included breakfast was amazing, it was a full restaurant breakfast. The waitstaff at breakfast were incredibly attentive. The front desk staff were so welcoming and always willing to help. Even the guests in the room with me were much more considerate than those at other hostels ( I think because of the psychological effect of the behavior agreement that needs to be signed before a stay).

-location close to the beach and a lot of surrounding restaurants and bars -big room space and clean bathroom -comfortable bed, AC works well, smart tv and fridge was a great add ons plus the small balcony -the activities they offer for the guests and non-guests such as power hour (happy hour), karaoke night, morning yoga and a lot more -staff and volunteers are nice and accomodating. shoutout to Adrianna and Cristhian! -rooftop bar was nice -free bfast and coffee

-unsmooth checkin in and asking me about my payment that obviously they resolved due to some system glitch on their part -pool was dated -picture of the room that we booked (superior king room) doesn’t match that room that they gave us. I double checked it with them but they said it was the right room and we didn’t just mind it as long as the AC is working and a fridge is existing

Originally I booked two nights, but extended to four nights. I’d met many other travellers staying at other hostels and for amenities/comfort, Casa Pepe was by far the best. Super comfy beds, nice rooftop terrace, pool, and great breakfast. I could rest, but still meet other travellers without having to play beer pong. The staff were so helpful, especially Alex & Frida - they were so kind and went the extra mile to help me with my reservation etc.

My only complaint is the dorm washrooms - one of our toilets had no seat, and though the trash was emptied regularly, it smelled really bad…the shower was also inconsistent - either cold or scalding hot, no in between and you never knew which you would get.

LOVED everything about this place! Located just 5 minutes from the beach, you are super under by great restaurants of any price range. The room was clean, comfortable, & cozy with AC & an attached bathroom. The roof & pool was a great place to hang out no matter rain or sun, with the bar offering a wide selection of well priced drinks. I was there every night for Power Hour. I joined a surf trip hosted by the hostel to La Lancha & had a wonderful time, I would HIGHLY recommend. The beach there is so clean & the view is beautiful. The cherry on top of my stay was the wonderful staff & volunteers who pushed me out of my comfort zone and made me feel apart of the family. Adriana was the best! She always had a smile on her face & a friendly demeanor. She encouraged me to surf, explore, & sing my heart out at karaoke! She really made my experience. Thank you Adriana!

Really nice rooftop pool and yoga area. They could do so much more with the space up there though - there’s a fully-kitted unused kitchen that would be great as a snack bar when chilling by the pool (or make it a guest kitchen?) Air con stays on in the dorms 24/7 which is amazing to have a chance to escape the heat. Beds are comfortable too and come with a nice big duvet. Breakfast is decent - the guy that serves it, Erik, is great! Lots of CoWork spots in an air con room (which does smell a little of mould).

The guest kitchen is absolutely awful. I’ve had kitchenettes in hotel rooms bigger and better stocked. It’s also always filthy. There’s no overflow bathrooms for the dorms. So in a room of 8 when someone is using the shower you have no choice but to wait. WiFi is poor and inconsistent.

Totally silent after 23:00. Dorm beds are incredibly comfortable, with the curtains you feel like in your own room, able to charge 3 device inside your bed, with light and additional locker in bed. Have never slept so good in a hostel. Huge locker in room for big backpacks. Private bathroom in dorm. Everyone super respectful Breakfast was delicious but could be more. All installations super nice. Staff really friendly. Best location. Away from the noise of the center but still close enough to walk back and forth during the day.

Great hostel! Would stay again if I was in Sayulita! -Great facilities -Nice room -The rooftop is really nice -The staff are really nice and show you to your room -A lot of activities in the hostel -Free welcome drink!

-One night we did not have water and this was not communicated. -Water pressure really low and no hot water -Towel was kind of old -There was no option for breakfast, just one choice -No locks included for the locker -The staircase was really slippery and pretty much no lights in the night which was really dangerous -My request for a upper bed was nof fulfilled even though i asked for it weeks in advance. When I asked again during check in the receptionist ignored me

I have experienced a lot of hostel and dorms a d I think this one is the best dorm I have ever experienced. With a lot of space and privacy. Breakfast is also one of the best and staff at breakfast is really great. They clean thoroughly everyday the dorms. It's perfectly placed.

Before my arrival, I reached to them several time through the platform chat with one simple question, they would not answer and they will always send me the same automatique response, saying they are taking a rest for now (while they are open 24/7), and would reached back to me the next day, but never will.

Nice and new hostel, great location, beautiful rooftop and very good coworking space. The all-female dorms are great with double beds, comforter and lots of privacy. Beautiful breakfast area too.

There isn’t a real kitchen for guests (very messy room, no sink no tableware). There is only 1 mirror in the female dorm (in 1 of the 2 bathrooms), a couple of hangers or racks would’ve been great to hang wet stuff in the room. And the bathroom had a very bad smell most of the time. Imo the drinks and food are too pricy for a hostel.

Perfect location just a couple minutes walk from the heart of the town and the beach. The staff were welcoming and nice and made you feel at home! Beds were comfortable with proper blankets. Lockers supplied, bring your own lock, and the bathrooms were clean. The rooftop pool has a great view and comfortable seating. The breakfast is simple, but good and again amazing service. Overall vibe was friendly and chill, definitely not a party hostel. We ended up extending another 2 nights and I’d stay here again on my next trip!

The shower only had hot water for a few minutes.
