Kinda Kan is right at the beach! That was super convenient. It was also nice to have breakfast included with the room, but it wasn't anything extraordinary. Most of the hotel staff were great--especially Lau at the beach and restaurant, and Pepe at the front desk. The best rooms to book are 201 to 206, which have beach view. Sleeping to the sound of the waves is worth the upgrade! We also enjoyed the small swimming pool.

My husband and I had originally booked a cheaper room, which happened to be across the street from the main hotel building. Now, THAT was a terrible room. Small, smelly, windows and doors wouldn't close properly. We were really lucky that there was a beach view room available for us to upgrade to.

Location is excellent, close to the ferries that go to Cozumel. I appreciate the low key vibe of the hotel and the accessibility there is to the beach and pool. It is a great value for being beach front and smack in the center of Playa, close to shopping and delicious restaurants. I meant to only stay there a couple of nights but ended up extending my stay. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful.

No cable TV to unwind at night, only YT and NF. Water pressure in shower was weak and the bathroom sink leaked water. The rooms (I stayed in two different ones) could use some hooks as there isn't a place to hang your clothes after being in the water. Despite these minor details, if you are not high maintenance and are looking for a comfortable place on the beach for great value, this is the place.

Kinta kan was at the perfect location for our late night flight arrival. literally a minute walk down from the ADO bus station that comes from the airport. good location towards the start of Avenida 5 but we enjoyed the central location to access the shopping street

The Room and the toilet were a little bit small for our liking. We noticed a leak at the top of our bed that got progressively worse and reached is worst thankfully as we were about to check out. staff was a little bit unfriendly when we asked for her to call a cab she said no immediately first but that could also probably be a language barrier.

it was close to the sea

the room was too small, the hotel staff at 7pm doesn’t let you go in through the bar, I bought breakfast for a young man who was looking for food and the staff didn’t like it. They were rude to him. I had to bring that issue with the staff, due to their rudeness.

We did not receive breakfast with our room but there was plenty of great cultural and local food close to our hotel. Personnel were very attentive to our needs once we got situated.

Breakfast could of been included for the price we paid. The electricity was out and we had to stay at the beach longer then expected. The 3rd day the water pump issues but they were nice enough to give us a key to another location to use the showers. It was only a minor inconvenience.

Really close to the mains street beach and bus station, but far enough not to hear noises from the parties. Nice pool, and clean hotel beach with sun beds. Nice and helpful staff.

In first room water was leaking from the ceiling, so we changed room (without any problems). There was no enough hangers in the room, and no place to put suitcases.

what i like was the swimming pool, the view of my room, but need more storage and a mirror in the room not in the closet, more hangers in closet and screen door to open in the room and feel freshness from the ocean.

I didn't like that courtains from the window were ripped, and also didn't like that after 6:00pm we didn't have access to the ocean,what I suggest is to have a small door with keys to people who stay in hotel to have access to go to the ocean at night and more lights.

Beachfront, food was good, comfortable beds, right around the corner to Quinta Avenida, if you go left you go to the mall and right to restaurants and stores.

As we were checking out, the housekeeper checked our room and came back to the lobby with a stained and almost torn towel and said we had to pay for it, it was not in our room when we left, but her word against ours so we ended paying 170 pesos.

The shower heads need to be replaced they spray all crazy and hurt your face

We rented a sea view room. Our room was upstairs and overlooked the ocean. We enjoyed the thatched roof look inside our room. We had a king size bed, which was very comfortable. The bathroom had a nice shower (no bath tub), and the hot water was adequate for our needs. The AC worked well. The breakfast was OK. Service was a little slow the day we were there, but it appeared they had a new waiter. The location of this hotel was EXCELLENT. We were only one block from the Square in Playa del Carmen on a quiet street that led to the beach (2nd Norte). We only stayed one night due to our travel schedule, but we would be happy to stay there again.

If you rent a car as we did, the parking was a problem. The hotel has no parking, and the nearest parking garage was about 3 blocks away, so be prepared to carry your luggage to the hotel. The street is blocked off to cars, so don't even think you can get a taxi to take you to the hotel.
