I stayed here for 9 nights and had no issues at all. It's small, quite basic but good value hotel in a great location. It was great to have a fridge in the room for cold drinks. The shared kitchen outside is a novel idea I have never come across before and I saw people making use of it. I only used it to cut up some fruit I'd bought. The pool was lovely. I used it a few times. The location is just great, it's literally about 5 minutes walk to the beach and 5th Avenue, if that. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. I did not have the breakfast so cannot comment on that.

We stayed here once before and returned for a couple of days on this trip before meeting family at another location. Such a lovely and quaint hotel, perfect location, and our kids loved feeding the turtles! The little balcony in our room was ideal as a little reading spot. Really friendly staff too who helped us with getting some emergency laundry done when we arrived after a very rough journey from London. I also loved that we could reuse/fill up water bottles and the coffee shop across the street serves excellent coffee too.

The pool area is gorgeous, lush and green and a great place to chill out - but the water is very cold.

This is my 2nd time! Hotel staff are personable and very helpful, they pay attention to the details and one of them printed off my boarding pass, and let me leave my suitcase, which saved a lot of hassle. They definitely go the extra mile, with what must be a busy job. The facilities have chilled vibe and you can enjoy a bit of nature with all the vegetation and lovely pool area All rooms have a balcony, and there is a light which you can put on once it's dark (my bad thanks for letting me know) Breakfast is as you turn left out of the hotel to the next corner on the right, nice and easy, good service.

Perfect little room with bathroom and right next to the pool. The staff was incredibly friendly at any given time of the day. Free coffee and water at the front desk. Great pool. Great location, quiet but just 2 min away from the hot spot. We ended up extending by 2 nights which was no problem at all. Free parking and luggage storage are super.

Fridge didn't work but we didn't need it but we notified the staff and they tried their best.

I needed to get to the bus terminal early and this made it super easy to arrive on time. The lobby, room and hallway has a massage oil smell that was very pleasant and relaxing to check-in with. The pool created an awesome vibe with the blinking neon lights like an oasis

The reception communication was helpful but I didn't realize there were so many instructions to be passed on. I came in late. Too bad some of the info isn't already in booking.com to help shorten the check-in time

Hotel LunaSol is a restful place to say, but still near enough to the lively activities on nearby in Playa Del Carmen. It is very walkable to many of the attractions of the beach and city.

We were looking for a quieter area which was considerably difficult to find in Playa del Carmen, but this place met our main criteria Also, size of the room, location, area, bed very comfortable, were all very good points to highlight.

If I could go back and change something on my booking, it would be the option of removing breakfast, not because was bad, not because it was expensive, but only because there were so many other nice spots where we could have had breakfast around the area.

DONT THINK TWICE THIS iS PERFECT! Spacious room with terrace facing the pool , the pool it’s quite good size , it has a kitchen cantone which is great as supermarket are 5min walk! So perfect for a break from beach and cook some food . The staff were fantastic , Miguel and Victor where very friendly and helpful with our questions. They offer free water , and coffe and tea on the morning . The 5a avenida is right there but far enough to don’t hear noises at night, the port it’s 5min walk . REALLY the location is perfect! There’s a little piazza near the hotel where 711 is and there you can get nice street food for under £5!

Nothing but will be nice if there were more large mirrors as there’s just one in the bathroom and a small one on the room .

Close to beach, close to main street but also in the calm, quiet area (unique combination in Playa del Carmen). Nice pool area, every room has a balcony so it's good place to sit in the evening. Staff was very nice and helpful, there is an unlimited access to bottle water (from container) and there is a coffee/tea available every morning. I think it is a good value for the money

Nothing really

Amazing location close to the beach, and to the walking street with bars & restaurants as well as to the supermarket. Super friendly people, from the 24/7 reception to the pool guy. Best value stay in Mexico so far, with a lovely poolside room. Not to many rooms in total, and even a kitchen and water cooler to use. As well as private parking and great wifi .

The showers were cold, but it was 35 degrees so was not really an issue.
