Very helpful staff, spacy rooms, close to amenities (not in the center), beautiful yard. 7 street nearby had all restaurants we needed.

Tulum itself is way ovarated, far from sea, full of traffic, dust and garbage, seaside is behind fences, and beach clubs cost 60eur per person per day. Was ok for 2 days, but there are far better places to go for a beach.

I spent a week with my girlfriend in Tulum starting from New Year's, and Boutique TerraNova by Raffa was the perfect choice. The hotel features a stunning garden with a pool, an excellent bohemian design, and a fantastic location in La Veleta, Tulum. It's conveniently close to 7th Street, where you'll find countless delicious restaurants and cozy cafés. The team, led by Raffa, is exceptional—extremely helpful and hospitable. They go above and beyond to provide local tips tailored to your preferences, making your stay in Tulum truly unforgettable. I would return to Tulum again and again, just to stay at TerraNova Boutique Hotel with Raffa and his wonderful team!

I recently booked a last minute stay at this hotel due to unexpected changes in my travel plans, and I can confidently say I couldn't have chosen a better place. The hotel itself is stunning, with an immaculate attention to detail in both its design and upkeep. It exudes a sense of serenity, creating the perfect environment for relaxation. The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and it was evident that the property is very well maintained. In addition to its beautiful surroundings, the hotel is ideally located, offering easy access to a variety of food options and local amenities, which made exploring the area very convenient. What truly set this experience apart, however, was the staff. The team went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed during my stay. They were attentive, courteous, and provided fantastic local recommendations that enhanced my trip. If you're seeking a quiet, peaceful hotel with a relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend this property. - really nice hotel with gorgeous pool ! - close to the centre of La Veletta but in a very quiet street - the staff (Gabriel) was super friendly and helped us organise our stay in Tulum with really nice advice. Actually this is the specialty of the hotel, and they can help you planning a wide range of activities (cenotes, visiting the ruins and spending the day at the beach, cocoa ceremonies, art trip, etc.). -rooms were very clean.

- we went there at the start of the rainy season and the mosquitoes can be a nuisance around the pool (but I guess this is everywhere). But Gabriel has plenty of repellent! Also the mosquitoes won't attack you if you stay in the water ;)

The owner, Rafa, is very helpful and takes time to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. He gave us loads of good tips and helped us with booking Taxis etc. We felt very well looked after. The hotel itself has a beautiful inner area with a pool and loads of plants. We couldn't hear any noise at night.

It's really well located in la Valetta. However, if you want to go the center or the beach you will need a scooter or take an expensive taxi, which can be said of most Hotels in Tulum.

Everything was just perfect! We enjoyed a lot the silence, the room was pretty dark with the curtains so we could sleep a lot, there were small details that just made it even better (drinking water available all the time, shower pressure, place outside the room to hang your wet towels), the pool was amazing, prices at bar more than decent (how cool to drink your perfectly-foamed cappuccino in that amazing garden!). And the best of the best: Rafa (the owner) and his colleague were just super friendly and helpful with all our questions (they even let us check out a bit later). Thank you so much for this incredible experience, was one of the best stay ever!

There’s absolutely zero complaints!

the pool, the bar, the staff, and the lush plant decor were beautiful! it was close to cute shops and restaurants in La Veleta town and had a very cosy, B&B vibe to it!

the bed could have been more comfortable and the booking could have more clearly shown that the unit was two floors (with an upstairs bed); we somehow did not realize that before entering the room. only annoying if you need toilet in the middle of the night! we likewise did not realize the distance to the beach ($25 taxi or 20-30 min drive), but in the end, we preferred being further away from the hotel-zone.

Staff always friendly and on hand to answer any questions or give recommendations about the local area and for excursions. Excellent recommendations sent through message to us as well. Free drinking water available at all times. Help with getting taxis at a reasonable price. Great location for the Main Street of restaurants and bars in La Veleta and a 5 minute taxi away from the ADO bus station.

Amazing jungly paradise, you enter winding through beautiful jungle plants, pass a little pool with swings next to the bar. Lovely intimate setting. Good location in the Tulum town (much better than the very touristy and overpriced beach area). Staff were really nice, they made some great recommendations which we really appreciated. One of these was SFER IK UH MAY which was an amazing addition to our agenda.

Nothing. Only potential improvement would be to add a breakfast option. Otherwise you can get an early breakfast at Potheads from 7am or later on at botanica garden cafe.

We loved our stay stay in the big room at terranova for 5 nights in January 2022. Valentina, Gabriel and Rafa were so lovely to make us feel completely at home and gave us the best tips for restaurants, bars, how to get around. In a place like Tulum this can really make or break your stay and it really made a big difference, Thank You all so much!! They were so kind to make us to extra effort with everything (taxis, drinks, laundry, recommendations) and we really enjoyed spending time there just hanging out. The room is absolutely beautiful, spacious, clean, and the best shower we had in Mexico! There’s a nice veranda to sit outside and then down at the pool/ bar you can get very reasonably priced drinks and learn about and try different mezcals. The area in La Veleta is so cool and laid back, some of the best food we had in Mexico and more chilled than the beach area but still walking distance to downtown. We would really recommend staying in this chilled paradise hotel during your stay in Tulum!
